I love the nature ones you do sir, but I also find all the historic ones equally interesting. I think Valley Forge is a place all Americans should visit.
I just experienced Valley Forge after I had participated as a Sons of the American Revolution member at the Battle of Monmouth. I fell in love with the Forge.
It is so nice to see your family all together again. Those times are moments that will always be treasured. This looked like a really interesting and fun trip for you all … and can’t forget the pizza! I wish a beautiful 2023 for you and your family. I have continued to be blessed by your church services, messages, concerts, and activities. Take care always!

Two of my direct-line ancestors spent the winter of 1777 in Valley Forge. I have visited this site in the winter on purpose so I might get a sense of what it might be like. Everyone should do so, to understand the sacrifice soldiers made to win freedom for all of us. I grew up and was raised in that area. It is a magical place. Im glad you got to experience just a fragment of what i grew up with. Im a grad of Conestoga High School class of 96'. Literally a few miles from Valley Forge. Thank you for sharing this vid. You have a magical, beautiful family!
Valley Forge is my local. I regularly walk/ hike there since it's just a mile from my front door. This park bookends very well with Jockey Hollow in Morristown, NJ, one of the winter encampments often forgotten about that made Valley Forge look rather tame in comparison.

I was just doing research and found out my family through my great grandma are the Potts family Pennsylvania Quakers and they owned Valley Forge at the time and the potts family mainly issac potts built the house that george washington stayed in and the potts family owned and operated and expanded the forge
It would have looked so different in that area with 1000 of those log "homes". It's been a while since I've been here, and I think I learned more about the area through this video than I did actually being there! Great job! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your entire family!
