- 14 inch custom Z bars from ebay, Avon grips, stock 5 inch pullback "C riser" modified with 2 inches cut off from base, signal re-locator kit, internal wiring, graphite braided cables. [Total bar rise around 18 inches] Cycle Shack Slip on Exhaust, Mustang Solo seat.

That's nice size was looking at 16inches but looking at that 14inches looks perfect thanks guys for sharing

I just bought a 2005 1200C Sportster that have 12” Fat Apes on it and love them. I just can’t decide what angle to have them yet. They’re basically level vertically with the ground and it’s comfortable to ride & turn, but I dunno if it looks good not being even with the forks either. I also overpaid for it too. Lol. Can’t get a good deal at almost any Harley-Davidson stores.
Do you have a picture? I'm trying to change mine out and it has that high riser?
Bike looks good. What bags are those? Been looking for some leather throw over bags that will fit on my 1200 without me having to relocate my tail lights

I have the identical sportster. I am thinking of removing the "Handlebar riser". It doesn't look good to me.
Did you cut the riser in half ? It looks preety good.

The description said it's the stock one, he just cut 2 inches off of it.
Which is interesting considering I've been wondering whether to keep it or replace it, but cutting it down works too!

So ive got the same bike and wanting the same bars...been looking up the riser mod but cant find anything on it...so my question is did you just cut 2 inches off the bottom with a band saw??

Where did you get your ape hangers from
Yeah please tell us how you shaved the stock riser down, I don't want to mess mine up trying it.

i just got a set of 14" chrome bars like them but am having trouble figuring out the cable kit i need what size cable kit did you get or could you tell me what length your cables are?

Super Radd These bars will fit without any mods to the riser. I had the riser shaved down purely for looks. Apes on a 6 inch riser just doesn't look right imo.
What type of shop did you take the riser to to have it cut down 2 inches? And how was it done?
