I like that Macdonald wants to do joint practices. Carroll NEVER did them, which I believe hurt us in the long run! You can only beat up on your own team for so long. You don't know how good your team is until you go up against someone who you don't go up against in practice every day. Here's another reason why I believe we're headed in the right direction! Go Seahawks Baby! 💙 💚🏈🦅
I think it’s more to gauge where we stand next to other teams. We never got that sense before the season during the Pete Carroll era and it bit us in the ass last year as our team just looked a step behind most teams
@@Carflem54exactly couldn’t have said it better !!!
“Dickson will show up when his marriage is over” had me cracking up! 😂
Lol
Yeah that was hilarious. Didn’t realize what he said lol 😂
When i played safety in college, we did a joint practice with a competitive team, we thought we were good but they spanked us and made us realize we had to step it up a notch before the season started. We played them week 3 and beat them 22-21 to start the year 2-1. If we didn't have that joint practice we probably would have lost the first 3 games imo. We realized in the joint practices that due to our lack of speed on defense we needed to rethink our entire scheme, as they were toasting us on outside runs and screens.
This joint practice gon show a sneak of our foundation, showing how we are against other teams. I believe we headed in a good direction
The joint practice will help with tackling for sure . I felt like in that Rams game last year tackling was bad and we looked soft
Joint practice is much better prep than pre-season, which are basically final tryouts for backups and 3rd string.
That DK statement where he said he doesn’t pocket watch… hit like cocaine
hes not gonna say he is pocket watching lol. Hes gonna ask for a bag if he has a good season
I agree about Thomlinson. He looks good now because at this point practices are no pads, light contact. It's all about knowing what to do. No doubt he knows the game. Thing is the questions with him are about if he can keep up with guys much younger than him. Guys that haven't taken the years of injuries.
...the heat and humidity that they will experience in Nashville in August might end some of their careers. Good luck with that!
Maybe this is bad, but I want one good fight at practice
WE HAVE TO SIGN A STARTING LINEBACKER
Can you respect that MM, Grubb and Huff probably know a thing or two about football and offensive linemen. Chill, brother and trust in the process a bit.
Ikr this guy is a hater he hates on pretty much everything 😅
i dont mind Laken Tomlinson being the one of those 9 players or even the starting left guard... I really dont see a better option.. at least to start the year.
also I am guessing the amount of former probowlers on the 53 man roster is going to be less then or around 10 so....
I feel like we're one Charles Cross toe stub away from having the worst offensive line in the NFL. It may not matter if Geno gets the ball out in 2.5 seconds, but I don't know how anyone can look at our o-line and say it's an improvement from last year, and Christian Haynes should have just been penciled in as our starting guard on one side or the other. I get he's a rookie, but McClendon Curtis has a career total of 4 snaps more than Haynes.
I wonder if you aren't reading just a hair too much into the Laken Tomlinson news at this stage. Basically none of the 1 reps have been done by what any of us expected are the starting five on OL, and as a veteran who is healthy and who has good character, he probably just makes an ideal fit for the leadership team.
Hope Dickson enjoys his wedding.
Right! Also last yr wasn’t Nick Bellore sort of a team leader too?
Why can't anybody these days respect the process? Why do so many of you think you know, what you really have no clue about? Is it just simply not possible for humans today to understand that coaches know a hell of a lot more about the players who should or shouldn't be starting on THEIR TEAM. than a bunch of idiot (Monday morning QB's) sitting on there couches? That have never even played this game on any level. Can you kids really not hear how arrogant it makes you sound? You actually believe you know more than the people that are actually IN THE BUILDING? That have dedicated their whole life to this game...That is simply absurd.
Time for your nap bossman.
