I came here trying to find an acoustic cover of snowblind i ended up finding John fucking frusciante wrecking strings in ways i could never dream of. what a fucking hero

The solo is a banger. Maybe one of my favourite Sabbath solos but I don't think you could really do it acoustically. At least he does the fast sort of breakdown riff later.

You can't really just stop and solo when it is just you and your acoustic. It sounds weird and kind of kill the momentum. He could have done a sick solo if it was electric and he had Flea and Chad backing him up.
@@dougburr4192 The solo bridge is such a great emotional ride downhill with tragic pained lyrics and perfect on acoustic. It's just slow descending haunted arpeggios that stands my arm hair up for the last 50 years. The solo itself is standard Iommi issued pentatonic boxes and unity bends but it adds so much dimension to the song. I dig both versions but like to moan as a I missed the goose bump climax I expected. Cheers.
@@dadbrad852 Oh there was a misunderstanding. I thought when you said you missed the solo you meant the guitar solo. I was just saying that it sounds weird if you are strumming chords and you then just stop and play lead on acoustic without any backing. If you meant the other section of the song then that is probably my favourite part of the song.

The "Black Sabbath!!!" scream just so epic...only John's reaction smile is greatest. 🔥😎✌
Imagine you're the one who screamed that and now after all those years you can see John smiling because of that
this song is so heavy that even playing it on acoustic will break your neck! IOMMI!!!

Yea man! Makes me think of the never say die live version !!!

Only a fucking creative guitar player like Frusciante could make an acoustic version of this sound as heavy as the original one. Amazing!
