I think the Taurus is an amazing daily driver and once the Connie series gets a rework, it will be even better.

I had the Taurus before the wipe a while back and I loved it. But, having crewmates will definitely help. I parked an Ursa rover and Cyclone in the back or Ursa and two Hoverquads.
This cold allow two snipers to head out on the hoverquads in two directions and the Ursa to get to a bunker for JumpTown missions. Snipers keep cover while the Ursa could be used to carry packages. Use the Taurus with a gunner for air control. With an anti-air Cyclone, the Taurus could hold back at a safe spot while the Ursa sacks JumpTown. So many possibilities with the ship's storage capabilities.

I bought the game 7 or 8 years ago, and I can finally play it as of about a week ago. (Translation: I could finally afford to build a rig that can run it.)

Connie was my first ship and remember when I could only look at her in the hanger. I have too many ships to list these days and the Connie still gets more flight time than any other. Missles out the ass and big guns so she can protect herself and plenty of storage to make money with. I put the tumbril on her and live in the verse for weeks at a time just visiting locations and cruising the tumbril around. One of my favorite things to do is jumping the dunes on daymar or climbing impossible mountains. Cant go wrong with this ship! For heavy hauling I use the cat but investments can be high and risky with her and when low on funds the Connie is perfect size risk VS reward.

I like this ship enough I almost want to buy it with real money. But, then I remember that would leave me with nothing to aim for in game. I'll earn it the hard way!
Right, that ship looks great in that livery. Wow, tractor beams, changing guns. This is a good demo of SC as well as the Taurus. Plus, I like that you have jazz in the background. What would I do with the auec? spend more time exploring and less time grinding salvage.

The connie are still one of fav ships.. love the yellow on it... but dont give me the cash, I can't play at the moment, my pc had a major mobo crash and self delete, and killed my cpu and ram i the process of a powersurge, so won't be until at least tax return till i can get back ingame

Connie taurus is an amazing middle of the road ship to multitask. Obviously it can't compete with specialized ships in any area, but it can do OK in up to mid missions of basicaly all types but reclaiming (obviously) and the cargo is great for the size, armament and manouverability.
That's my daily driver. I love my Taurus, but I prefer White Heron. It really does need an update, though.
Holy shit. When did they finish the Taurus?! I'm only just getting back into it after 6 years. I was working and ended up high admiral. But then i started studying and sold everything on starcitizentrades for 60% cost. Starting out again and I just upgraded to a 325a. Still studying so that's really all I can afford atm. The game is so different to back then. Loving it now.
This is my one an only "owned" ship. It can do everything.

1. If you shoot the red NPCs that are bugged it still warns you of Friendly Fire
2. I don't think you get 15 Hours for killing an NPC so he was propably up to no good anyhow :D

I love racing, mining and salvaging in the Taurus.
And I can't wait until we can build bases and do luxury passenger transport with it.

In 3.23 i tested both Taurus and Corsair in fight. Corsair in fight performs mutch better because weapons mounted on nose and when you aim your weapons looks at target right away and on Taurus you need mutch more turn to do the same because weapons on the back and you need mutch wider turn to the target, Also corsair can fit inside ursa and roc or picies and roc also corsair has mutch larger QT fuel tanks wich is meabs in Pyro it can travel mutch further + additional x2 S4 guns and in 3.23 all gun sizes have same range so you can mutch in with x4 s5 guns and land hit from all weapons at the same time.Yes Corsair cost 50$ more but it worth it 100%.
Fuel for Pyro is something that is going to be rebalanced before release. The Constellation Andromeda is a very good ship and its a war dog.
@@ALEX_JOTA Corsair will have always more QT fuel than andromeda because its Expedition ship. It means you can use more faster QT drives and go same distance as Andromeda but more faster
Taurus is a great, feel its going to be better once it;s brought up to gold. If i had one could be a go to daily driver

The connie Taurus will probably stay THE best Constellation ship from the family in my opinion. Reason? Cargo.... Base color scheme it has is actually good looking.
The snub is a Nice idea, but in practice not so much. Especially if i "Forgot" my friend outside and he can no longer see me and he cant dock back with the Connie. I want it simply because i want to live the Cargo man`s life in Pyro. I want to do some high risk routes and just have fun with my friend as a Duo on this ship.
I am excited to see how much better the Constellation series will be when they get their gold pass. Id love to have one in my fleet. A Drake Cutter Scout is all i got rn....
I don't really recommend the taurus variant because it have a lot less body armor and shields health, if you want a constellation get the Andromeda, if you want to risk it for more cargo then go with taurus
Id spend the money on ships so that if they don't wipe 3.23 I don't have to worry about ships.
i think the andromeda is the best all-rounder of the connies, especially with the snub p-52 merlin in the back. but I have the Phoenix.
I love my Connie, i went with the Andromeda as my daily driver i don't know if i can part with it as it has kept me alive in spite of what VHRTs and Zeno can throw at me.

Also Taurus has 130,000 hp vs 180,000 for the Andromeda and 160,000 for a Phoenix. But the most important difference is inventory cargo. I discovered that when i had to move all my inventory. For an unexplained reason, the Taurus, which has the most cargo, is the one (with Phoenix) that have the least inventory cargo. You can only use 8 scu for that, whereas Andromeda and Aquila have 96. This means you can move all your stuff at once with an Andromeda whereas you have to do several trips with a Taurus.
You could fill the cargo grid with huge self storage 8scu boxes and put your stuff in those toward that same end. An extra step or twelve but, doable! 😂

there is a confirmed issue council bug with using looted NPC ship weapons, if you unequip them from your ship in the ship loadout manager, they wont go back on any ship ever again, and they are always the first to be chosen, so it ruins the whole stack of those weapons you have.

Nice video, I recently started looking at this ship in the last month because I've become more interested in bounties, beacons, and taking advantage of its shielded cargo hold. I and also very interested in exploration. So I've been looking for something that is not the MSR, for the shielded cargo hold And not the Drake Corsair, as the wings and landing gear seem to glitch out all the time. Subbed and bell. I'd be very interested in taking it off your hands if you're willing, see you around.

I daily the exact same ship with the same paint. do a few NPC bounties, run some cargo, load up an ursa and go explore. It's a really good well rounded ship and it's got space for friends.

The Connie is great, but that cockpit bar work plus MFD clutter is so annoying, atleast a 2/3 of your screen is blocked

That's what I do. But only for the people who actually want to learn something, I take them out in my reclaimer they do a little work they're interested in it so I give them the money for a vulture. let them work up to that.

yes, the constellation is a allrounder but i actually never fly it because it flies like a brick with its fat ass and it goes down veeeeery fast to its sluggish size. glasscannon with cargospace, thats the conny

Taurus has 33% less hp than Andromeda or Aquila as well as lacks 1 turret and snub fighter, otherwise its a nice ship but still Andromeda is the better daily driver.
