I’ve been on Thunderation probably 100 times throughout my life as silver dollar city has been my home park forever, but I was there this past weekend and I have never felt it run as rough as it did then. It had been 2 years since I last rode it but I swear it didn’t used to be that rough. Also that wildfire drop in the back row is incredibly underrated.
@@ThemeParkAvenueI live in mosuri and this parks really fun only been 2 times cause I live by worlds of fun I feel like worlds of fun needs more attractions
I've been on all of them, and I've been going on them since I was 9 years old, and I'm 10 years old right now, and I still love these rides, they still are really fun to me, I don't scream but I've been on all of them. I've been on all the roller coasters and wildfire. It's really smooth and is the best ride. There is not a line when I went and it took like 2 seconds for me to get on. I just got back from the trip from silver dollar city and. The new fire in the hole came out. And I had to wait about 2 hours, but it was one hour and 30 minutes.
Frisco Silver Dollar Line all the way! That little narrow gauge steam train is honestly my favorite ride. I will admit, I absolutely HATE roller coasters or any other fast ride, that includes The American Plunge and Mystic River Falls. Either way, good to see the old FSDL represented. Rockatoa, Brickticks out!
Fun fact the reason the train stops for a robbery is actually because there is an incline ahead and the locomotive needs more steam pressure to successfully climb up the incline
This is so awesome! So many great things to get on there! Love how their train still has the show elements in it. Dollywood got rid of theirs a few years ago.
Enjoyed your video. We're newbies for season passes at SDC. We can't decide favorite coasters here. They are all so fun in different ways! The initial blast of Powder Keg, the phenomenal out of the gate drop of Time Traveler, the amazing view & loops of Wildfire, the quickest hill climb EVER & never dull moment on Outlaw Run! We raced at opening this morning to beat the line for the new Fire in the Hole, and we were indeed on the second traincar. Fun, but definitely not worth the race 😂,nor the crazy wait times we've seen (90 minutes-2 hours!!). It's more of a coaster for young riders.
Recently visited and absolutely loved this place, its my favorite amusement park now by far. It would still be number one even without the cave but that cave really pushed this place far ahead of second place Dollywood
I have been going to silver dollar city since i was 3 I am 9 now and it is still as fun, it is funner if you bring a friend or a cousin ,my fav is wildfire me and my fav cousin always sing the song looser baby from hazbin hotel on that ride
I’ve ridden Giant Barn Swing, and I don’t know what kind of ride I had, but it was so bad. I much preferred Skyhawk at Cedar Point or Finnegan’s Flyer at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. I also definitely prefer Outlaw Run to Time Traveler, so I agree with you!
Whoever is here to say powderkeg is the best, just cause the launch is “cherry picked in their favoritism, probably isn’t a real coaster enthusiast. This ride breaks a lot and was a salvaged ride from buzz saw falls that flopped. Time traveler definitely wins this race followed by outlaw run, then wildfire. Wildfires extrme smoothness and endless breathtaking view and drop off a hill makes the drop look bigger than it is
There are no bad rides at Silver Dollar City I don't see how you can have a top 10. When there's not one that's a bad one. Not even the shows are bad and Christmas get out of town that is the best day in the entire world next to Jerusalem The Hershand family knows how to keep God in Christmas.
I used to love this park and it was one of the first there when It opened up, and I still would love it today if it weren't for the incident. I got my arm taken by the giant barn swing and haven't had the heart to go back since. I don't know if they made it safer so be careful with the swing.
I’m so sorry to hear that. I have heard about some issues with injuries in the past at the park and I really hope you’re doing well after that. I don’t blame you for not going back and I appreciate you commenting on the video.
It does vary a bit from person to person, but here is a general guide: Start with Fire in the Hole, it's a nice, gentle start. I find Thunderation quite rattly and unenjoyable, so I think Powder Keg would be ideal to do next. It doesn't go upside down and is a super fun ride without feeling too crazy. Thunderation would be good after Powder Keg. After that, you could hit Wildfire or Outlaw Run. I would save Time Traveler for last because it spins while also having launches and loops. I hope this helps! I just came up with this and would love to know for future reference if it is a good strategy.
@ThemeParkAvenue thanks so much! I will let you know. I am going there in Saturday actually for my fiance's work day. I will have to see how many we hit. Good thing I asked because I was going to try time traveler first lol. Talk about jumping in the deep end. Thanks so much for the reply.😊
Steel vengeance made me bleed! Lol i had a piercing in my ear i couldnt remove and to be fair they warned me. Lmao but it was worth it ( just a lil blood)
Bro noone talks about the fucking BRAIN DAMAGE wildfire gives you. Might just be me but the restraints are just newtons cradles using my skull as the center ball. It is really fun but DAMN. The tylenol in the entrance shop carries.
it’s more of a family park which i love and i don’t want them to add no more than 5 thrillers bc then it won’t be family friendly anymore and yeah i just don’t want them to take away the little kid rides and stuff like it’s a great park that’s fun for all and i think it should stay that way
Subscribe for more theme park content! I may do a livestream this weekend.
Cool

It's a shame that the roughness is a relatively new development. I did want to love the ride but I couldn't.
i promise u it’s not that rough every time i SWEAR it’s different every single time
it’s a shame y’all got a tougher ride

Outlaw run is my favorite in the park the airtime is great!
It’s awesome.

Thunderation used to be great back when it wasn’t 80 years old
I imagine so.
it’s still amazing imo
@@ThemeParkAvenueit had backwards seated cars about 16 years ago or more
If I go ever, I honestly think I’ll like outlaw run more then time traveler.
Powder Keg is underrated, but it was breaking down a lot.
That’s unfortunate.

Great video and great list! I enjoyed watching!
Thank you for entertaining me through many boring summer days
I LOVED Thunderation!!!
That’s great! I wish I did too.
My favorite roller coaster, there was powder keg

OMG. 😮 As a former disneyian. That is shocking to me so sorry hunny🫶🤗
i’m so sorry this happened is it ok if i ask for a story time ?
If yall are ever on time traveler
PLEASE DO IT IN NIGHT TIME IT LOOKS SICK
It was worth the two hour wait
I’d love to
So what is a good order for a spanking brand new person for coasters? I want to start light and work my way up.😊🙃
It does vary a bit from person to person, but here is a general guide:

Thanks so much for the reply.😊
On outlaw run we went on the front row
Nice!
Best seat is the front on Outlaw Run! Surprisingly smoother than expected. We loved it!!🎢
Can we talk about how there is like no malfunctions in silver dollar city the only one I've seen is one of the seats on outlaw run wouldn't lock
If memory serves, Fire in the Hole (original version) had to briefly close when I went in 2022 but that was it.
What's your favorite s&s Maxx or Steel?
Haven’t ridden Steel Curtain, so Maxx Force.
@@ThemeParkAvenue lol same
IT'S POWDER KEG KARLL!!! 7:15
You know that guy?
Sadly this is fire in the holes last session before it is torn down, but there are rumors that they might rebuild it!
I’m excited to see what that one massive warehouse becomes.
Rode the new FITH today May 2024. Fun, but no way I'd stand in line more than 15 minutes for it.
powder keg is not for the skinny girls and boys that’s for sure ! it hurt my hips so bad
Electro spin???!!!!???!?!!??
Steel vengeance made me bleed! Lol i had a piercing in my ear i couldnt remove and to be fair they warned me. Lmao but it was worth it ( just a lil blood)
Sorry to hear that happened, but that is interesting!

Personally I never had this issue on Wildfire. I’ve felt it more on the somewhat similar Kumba.
Fire in the hole is closing next year
I’ve heard, and I’m curious to see the replacement.
@@ThemeParkAvenue yeah im going there next monday so it will be the last time i ride it😭
So this is what beat cedar point in best theme parks. I am disappointed. I didn’t see any thrill rides untill top 4.
It’s definitely not full of major roller coasters, but it has very pleasant theming and atmosphere for those who enjoy that.
@@ThemeParkAvenue I’m definitely gonna go, cause I live in Missouri. How many rides would you say is actually thrill rides.
@@jonahbrown5205 probably just the 4 big roller coasters and the Giant Barb Swing, but rides like Mystic River Falls and the train ride are awesome.

The theming and atmosphere here is outstanding. That alone pushes it above Cedar Point. Oh and the cave, the cave is amazing
Thunderation is the worst ride and u explained y
