You have great roller coasters like Powder Keg, Wildfire, Time Traveler and Outlaw Run but there are also so many things you not gonna want to miss on your next visit to Silver Dollar City. This list is my personal favorites.

Thank You!
I agree
My bsf invited me, going October 16.
My bsf invited me, going October 16.
This park is great I love it. Highly suggest getting cinnamon bread! Outlaw run is the best ride
We drove over 12 hours to go to Silver Dollar City in December. Needless, to say we were absolutely blown away! It’s definitely one of the greatest parks we’ve ever been to. I cannot wait to go back in the summer.
P.S. LOVE your channel!!
Thanks so Much!!!
Me and my family go here every year its so fun and we love it!!!
What a great idea for a series. And doing my "home park" telling me things i never even knew about. Grandfathers mansion...looks like i need to take sophie there next time around
I can't believe parks don't hire you to create promotional videos for them. Seriously, your videos are incredible! Way ahead not just of what some parks dump on the internet, but also much better than what some parks sold on DVD in their souvenir shops.
Of course it helps that SDC is a park where the only way to not see beautiful theming is to close your eyes, but you absolutely nailed it!
I know why I subscribed to your channel right when I discovered it.
(Edit: fixed typo)
I grew up coming to this park as a kid and am now I able to enjoy the park with my own kids. There is something truly magical and nostalgic about this park that I just can't quite put into words. This park feels like home and I wish I could go all the time.
I live just North of Branson and used to go every year growing up. The smells, the sounds, the people!
Mystic River is my ride. 😁😁 That's my team and second family. Glad you enjoyed!
I really wanna visit this park one day too as Powder Keg, Wildfire, and Time Traveler are on my coaster bucket list
They are all so good! You will love them. 🙌
As someone who has visited silver dollar city, I expect this list to be full of *bread*
Thats some good cinnamon bread haha
I am so grateful that I live only a few hours away (3) from this amazing park.
The king of quality coaster content
Thanks so much!!!!
Okaycoasters plus SDC = 😍Can’t wait for more!
Haha Thanks!
I'm literally going to Silver Dollar City for the first time a week from today, perfect timing for this video!
Did you go?!
@@galacticcannibl1966 I did, it was fantastic!
@@DarrenButzTV any tips? Going there the day after Thanksgiving.
Man, I just went to SDC last week for the first time and this made me sad I’m not there anymore. But it made me happy knowing that it will still be there the next time I go, maybe then I’ll ride Outlaw Run another 10 times!!
Bro ur vids legit nearly make me cry, anyone who doesn’t sub doesn’t have a soul
Grandpas Mansion is not only a MUST SEE at SDC but it’s been there forever!! I’m 50 and it was there when I was a little girl! I’m a Missouri girl so I’m lucky to have been there many times! We just went last week! My new favorite is the Time Keeper! 🤩 another favorite That you didn’t have in the list was Tom and Hucks River Blast. It was me and my husband (56 yo) and 3 teenagers. We laughed all the way through shooting anyone near the ride especially those shooting us! Then ran to the water cannons along the path to spray more riders! It was soooo much fun!!!
My first visit to this park was in 2019. And it was one of the last times I saw one of my best friends and theme park, road trip co pilot. Thank you for this video.
I live in southwest mo and Ive been so many times and it never gets old
T H I S I S M Y FAVORITE SDC VIDEO EVER!!! YOU NAILED IT!!! GREAT WORK!!!! Watched/Watch this video all the time. We try to get to SDC once a year if possible!
That looks amazing! Great job on showcasing SDC!!! Wish we were close enough to go...
Thanks!!!
This man needs more subs, amazing content!!
I watched LOTS of your videos in a row, and you're fantastic.
Thank You!!!!!
@@Okaycoasters Really awesome... But I DO think you shine a little "personal light" on CP... which is nice, but you don't overdo it. I like when you said, "and when it's time for You to go on that big coaster with me, that moment will be THE SAME..." lol, great.. ;)
Awesome video! You need to have a couple million subs for content like this!
Thank You so much!
I took my Lil sis here and I was surprised there was so much she could do bit still a bunch of fun things I like my personal fav is the bard swing
I showed my friend this channel and he guessed this channel had around 1.5 mill subscribers. Then I showed him the actual sub count and his mouth dropped. Seriously, this is the most must see tv UA-cam channel out there and deserves far more subs than 14k. Awesome video keep up the great work!!!!!
This was my home park for almost 5 years and I’m soooooo sad I had to move! Definitely spoiled with it, I could spend weeks there and still be finding nuggets!
In my family, we have had 5 generations go to SDC now. We drive 8 hours to go here even though we have a six flags 30 minutes away. The experience of this park is like nothing else. I have friends who will be first timers visiting in a few weeks. I’m really looking forward to them experiencing Christmas :)
Same here from dallas tx
I'm so glad to see another one of your videos thanks!
My bucket list park. I went there in 2001 pre-9/11. Best trip! WDW post 9/11. Silver edged it out!
Damn. Silver Dollar City was already the best park in the world but somehow this man still can make it even better. 👏👏
Haha thank you!!!
You have been the biggest inspiration for my channel. I have learnt from you that only with a great script, editing and footage can you make a great UA-cam video. I hope your channel gets even more attention, because it deserves it. Definitely more than bland, predictable channels like Coaster Studios.
Always love your vids. Can't wait for the next one . You romanticized this park with your video work
Love this park. Plan a good 4 to 5 days here for best experience.
AMAZING! My favorite park, and I miss it! You hit all the great things about this park and it's beautifully done!
Love your park overviews. I usually don't like a lot of slo mo stuff, but it works well for your style. Also, thanks for doing voiceover and leaving the background noise in the park!
Another amazing video. Well done
I can't wait to visit someday. Awesome work.
Great video as always!
Well done as always my friend. Fantastic video.
Silver Dollar City is the park I always have a tough time explaining to others about why it's so awesome.
From now on I'll just play them this video
Amazing video as always! This park blew me away when I visited back in June. By far the best park I've ever been to in my life!
Thanks! Yeah SDC just hits on a different level.
ive only ever been to six flags parks and im going to sdc in two weeks and i can't wait to have a new experience!
We did Ride 2 hapiness at Plopsa Belgium... men if Time traveler is just as good .... then those 2 are both worthy to be top 10 coasters in the world. I think the layout of Ride 2 hapines is even a bit better than Time Traveler but we have to judge that as soon Covis is over and we can travel to the US to fullfill or dream trip to some bucketlist parks. Hope to meet up with you some time soon in the US or Europe . And please post more content! its absolutely lovely !
Another amazing upload from the best
Very nicely done sir. Great park
Love getting new videos from this channel.
Great video, man! I am beyond blessed to call SDC my home park.
You really do make the best videos. Amazing!
Beautiful video! SDC is my favorite place been going since I was a little kid. Poor Thunderation is a lot rougher than it used to be you also used to be able to ride it backwards which was so fun when we were kids
Wow I never knew it ran backwards at one time! It’s a wonderful park!
I can't put my finger on why your videos are so stellar, but they just hit different. Excellent work as usual.
Thanks you so much! I really appreciate it!
i love seeing people enjoy this park the way i get to, i live 30 miles from branson and almost every single weekend me and my family are there. i cant get enough of how beautiful and amazing this place is and consider myself so lucky to be able to live so close to it
Yeah it’s a wonderful park to have as your home park. I would also go all the time if I could.
It's videos like these that make me proud to have SDC as my home park (I live 1 1/2 hours from there!)
Awesome presentation as always! Your videos and descriptions make me want to revisit this park. I only got to spend one short day there the summer that outlaw run opened. I feel like I missed a lot of details that are worth going back to catch.
Thanks! Yeah I had 3 days at the park and still didnt feel like that was enough. Great Park
I'm glad you had a great time! It's amazing you can make this already beautiful park look so much better!! Also thankful it's close to home for me😃
Thank You!
@@Okaycoasters you're welcome!! Awesome that you got to take your family there as well! I just recently watched your Dollywood vlog and couldn't help but notice your tip about bringing home cinnamon bread for your wife. Now here's another park you have to do the same thing😉
Great video!!!
Must be something in my eye, no way a coaster video made me tear up at all. Hope to make the trip someday but that is a haul from PA. Great video!
Did you notice the stand across from Powder Keg that had all the varieties of jerky? Good stuff.
Outlaw run was my first RMC ever and why I wanted to go, like you. Along with time traveler. Crazy part is both coasters had no lines. Rode each 3 times. But the last ride ok time traveler got me. Barely made it to the lot before puking. Lmfao. Worth it tho.
Liquid coaster lol. I like that.
PERFECT......
And he didn't even mention how beautiful the park is at Christmas time, the lights the parade. OH and you forgot to mention that Powder Keg is even more thrilling at night. They fire off a gas flare just as you launch - your eyes don't recover until you have already crested that first drop. THAT is wild (Hint, ride it first during the day then come back for a night ride,.)
Another amazing video!
Thanks!
Your videos are like movie magic! I love it
Thanks!
I love sdc. I live ab 4 hours from it so it’s considered a home park even though the only park in my state is Magic springs 🙄. Sdc is my favorite park yet.
Please make a ultimate guide video about this park. I will be visiting during the Christmas event for the first time and only have one day. Your past guides have been extremely helpful!
My favorite coaster channel
Man seriously, there are great coaster/theme park content creators out there, and then there is you. You rise to a different level. I enjoy the other guys, but dang, your videos are inspiring. One of these theme park companies needs to scoop you up for their advertising division.
Thank You so Much!!!
Wildfire was astonishing! I did enjoy Grandpa's Mansion as I went through it like 3 or 4 times. In a row. Didn't care for Mystic River Falls as my ass got damn SOAKED on it. But you didn't mention Fire In The Hole, The Flooded Mine, or Marvel Cave. Those are classics!!
Stumbled across this video because I’m ready to go back to this place.. and wow you did a great job on this video.. I’m like who is this guy he must have a million subs! And then I’m like well he deserves a million subs 😅 I’ve been to sdc 3 times and you showed me stuff I haven’t seen! It’s a magical place! You ain’t seen nothing till you go for Christmas
Great Video
How does this guy only have 15k I mean he makes some of the best roller coaster content on YT also amazing video man
The best thing for me was the calzone I had. Sticks with me eight years later.
how did i miss this banger of a vid!!!!! Didn't come up in my notifications...notifications are failing me again!
I don't understand why this park is so underrated.
Powder Keg has a better launch and infinitely better layout than Maxx Force. You can @ me. Okaycoasters, your content is A1! Let's get this man to more parks.
Thanks!!
I grew up going to SDC every summer, I may have grown up across the highway from WoF but SDC felt way more like my home park. I feel bad that you and your son couldn't do the Marvel Cave tour, but I'm sure you guys will make another trip eventually. Its really strange to think about SDC before Wildfire was built, imagine a park with only 2 family coasters still edging out the competition in MO, it's been that good for that long.
Planning to visit Branson, Check out Fairway on the Rocks, sleeps 8 and is 2 miles from Silver Dollar City. On Airbnb and VRBO.
I love Thunderation, but it's definitely one of the most harsh riding steel coaster I've ever ridden on. Never really understood why that was.
Okay, but are you ever gonna make a video that never slaps? Honestly, this channel is unbelievable!
Haha Thank You for the kind words!
I live in Arkansas and I and I go here a lot and I go to Silver Dollar city a lot
S Tier content
My favorite activity at CP without a doubt are things
Bro PLEASE give us Part II of the Cedar Point Guide soon!! :)
Marvel Cave is just what you'd think it is, a marvel. With a crazy history filled with hot air ballons, bat poop, and failed mining expoditions, it's my absolute favorite cave tour, I hope you get to try it someday! :D
Yeah it looks amazing and I was really hoping it would open before my trip ended
Your cinematic footage is soooooooo good
Is it free to use so I can use it in my future videos?
When do you think a guide to cedar point part 2 will be?
You know, it’s always weird to me because sdc is 20 miles away so we just go as a spur of the moment idea, I didn’t even realize how people would go cross country to go see it
Try outlaw run in the front row it is intense as it can possibly be
Do you know when part 2 to the cedar point video will come out?
I'm going later today and we go here twice a year and everytime I go marvel cave is closed but a family member went last week and its open... finally.
Can you make a guide to six flags over Georgia?
It would be great
BEST VIDEOS EVER!!!
I would love to but that is one park I haven't made it out to yet
Also can you give me some tips on making cinematic video of roller coasters
Please make the guide to cedar point part twooooo
I'm gonna be honest, the rides are fun. But my husband and I wear our season passes out for the shows and the food!
All the food was so delicious! I wish we could have seen more shows during our trip
Which roller coasters are the tamest? I’m scared of drops.
RIP the train
literally tho
I live in Harrison Ar 15 miles away from silver dollar city

I'd absolutely LOVE to visit this park someday... but I live in Italy and flights to the US are quite expensive... what's the nearest airport to SDC?
The closest airport is Branson Airport (30 min) but have only had 1 friend fly into there because so few airline carriers fly out of there. But the next closest one is Springfield-Branson Airport (1 hour) which is not as small but still small (I fly out of there a lot). I know a lot of people fly into St. Louis or Kansas City. Depends on what you want to do as well as a lot of my friends fly out of St. Louis even though it’s a 3 hour drive because it can be decently cheaper especially internationally because there are a lot more options. Hope this helps.
@@Ara_mei Thank you so much!
Gravity is a state of mind.
How did you get into photo and video? Also, out of curiosity, do you have a personal photography business or something?
I do not I just really enjoy doing it has a hobby at the moment.
