  • Since the novel coronavirus outbreak in the megacity of Wuhan in December 2019, lockdowns were also implemented across China’s vast countryside, home to more than 700 million people. Scott Rozelle, senior fellow at Stanford University FSI and co-director of the Rural Education Action Program, presented his latest study to assess the effects of local and nationwide disease control measures on the economy, social life and health of China’s rural population. Moderated by Victor Shih, associate professor at the School of Global Policy and Strategy.

Great work and talk, very interesting. I heard some local government even pay for suspect covid-19 patients to take test and get treated, beyond being free. They really try to play economic principle in a good way to control the disease, as the economic gain is way enormous than the cost of prolonged lockdown. And part of the very basic safty net for villegers in china is their farmland, most of the villeges are capable of being self sustaining for quite long time if not forever.

主动限流了解一下。In order to maintain their eternal rule of lies, they are extremely afraid that all the facts will be known by the people.
