When I first watched the first scene I thought Dwight was screwing around and ruining Jim's pitch. Then when it became apparent who he was calling all along I was like "Wow, that's genius." Made me acquire a new respect for the character. All reinforced later when Dwight quits for an episode and everyone else in the office is getting a heavy burden taking care of all the customers he acquired.
@@AlexAndorAlejandro Not true, the entire sales team including the Stamford remaining still had to divvy up the clients, and Michael confirms that he was top salesman.
You cut out one of the best moments from their sales. Right before the first sale they make Jim asks Dwight "Handkerchief, horsehair?" They have codewords for their roles on a sales-call. Love it.
The Will Ferrell episodes when he's freaking out over the cake or something and they just kind of look at each other and one of them says something like "Uh-oh." Amazing. That's how you knew the show was still gonna have heart after Michael Scott left.
2:48 it appears as if after Dwight's grandfather spent the rest of WWII in an Allied prison camp, he was able to keep his army helmet and pass it down to Dwight, who then converted it into a motorcycle helmet 😱
You can tell Jim and Dwight have done this before. Jim doesn't even get tripped up when Dwight starts dialing the number. Honestly pretty genius sales pitch
2:38 I never noticed that all 3 businesses were in the same building…and the same building that Dunder Mifflin operates in. That makes their disguises so much funnier 😂
Anyone else notice it’s the same building everytime he names a different business… I never noticed that in the actual show but now that I watch these one UA-cam I notice it everytime
Dwight rocking out hard fucking core to Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart" With Jim sitting outside the car is very... I am Dwight, in all cases that I could think of.
This scene is really underrated. Shows how elite these two are when it comes to sales. They know that they can’t compete with the prices other chains have so they had to highlight the customer service and create the necessity.
I love it when people just repeat exactly what we just watched and try to pretend that they have some deep insight. You don’t. You have eyes; like most of us.
@@genehenson8851Yes people with eyes and ears have insight into different aspects of scenes . Like the breakdown of their sales pitch. How Jim took the lead and then Dwight jumped in. They were prepared for the answer the client will give them. This is elite salesmanship. Micheal Scott however has a whole different approach, where he tends to get personal with client first. We see that in same episode when he went with Andy and later on at chili’s.
1:14 Kelly: "Dunder Mifflin customers service this is Kelly" Jim: "Hey Kelly it's Jim" Kelly: "Oh my god Jim how are you I was to tell you-" Jim: 😄 * ends the call *
The Office (US) is possibly the biggest in a long history of the American entertainment industry rip off of British TV. Proving what the world has long believed, that Steve Carell is a second rate talent.
It’s so funny how they are both just casually like “yea we created a fake employee to defraud the company”
Deserved for them capping commissions.
They get so comfortable having a camera crew around it's like they forget this is gonna be aired to the world one day 😂
What’s funny is eventually the documentary is released so it’ll be made public they commuted literal fraud 😂
@@realCyngshit bro didn’t read your comment i basically just said the same thing

I love watching Dwight lean in on the phone call as if he can't hear Jim (William M. Buttlicker) talking to Michael.
To be fair though the heavy burden was only because he named each files password after a different mythical creature and no one could crack it.
@@AlexAndorAlejandro Not true, the entire sales team including the Stamford remaining still had to divvy up the clients, and Michael confirms that he was top salesman.
Also Karen was angry at Jim when she said that, kinda trying to avoid him.
“You still do the thing” the fact that Jim knows about this for what seems like awhile warm my heart
Like an older brother 😂
The William M Butlikker scene is one of the best ever.
"You have to fire the salesman who treated me so terribly"
"Don't do it Michael!"
"It's a million dollars sale"
Genius lol
I always imagined it spelled Buttelicher
Great acting 😂😂😂
Kelly being overly talkative as a CS rep and Jim hanging up is peak Sales energy lmao
Dwight and Jim are the best ‘couple’ in The Office. Whether Frenemies, Enemies or an actual Team, they are always comedy gold ❤️

Michael is still the funniest of this while believing Mr. Buttlicker is a real client.
It's a simulation! He doesn't believe it's real! 🤦♂️🤌
