Man this mod just keeps getting better. I remember downloading this when it was first released thinking it would be some below average mod only for it to now be easily in the top 5 of my favorite mods.
Same. I was the 700th download. I was blown away by the quality and how few people knew about it. It feels great to have found such a great mod on my own instead of because it was popular. I hope mod creators know that making mods is worth it. Even if you don't get a ton of downloads immediately, the people that did download it appreciate it.

Ok, a few thoughts.
First off, I LOVE the animation of the amulet spinning. And the glow looks great too!
Second, I still think it would be really cool if you added some sort of use for the wither storm besides the block drop. Specifically, a corrupted beacon would be really cool and is actually shown in Minecraft Story Mode. It wouldn't really require knowledge of MC story mode since most players can probably guess how to use an item called "corrupt nether star"
I feel like this mod is gonna end up being #1 on curseforge someday, this is just a masterpiece

This is one of my favourite mods because it just adds everything of the Wither Storm + everything you need to defeat it. I hope 2.2/3.2 will release very soon because I can't wait for it any longer.

It actually makes sense for the Amulet to be able to do that.
In the Game, it helps to track down the Order of the Stone's members.
I like it, it's a fun feature! ^^ I can see it being really useful. It's like a Lodestone but for entities!
Love the amulet features! also love the purple aura around the wither storm :)
I love the glow you added to the Wither Storm! It's not only accurate to the game, but was the final feature it needed for It's intimidation to reach 10/10!

The amulet could be so useful for farming shulker shells. All you have to is find a shulker in an end city, link it, and then use it to find other shulkers and end cities.

Since this seems like a pretty big update I'm not sure if this got addressed, but do you think It'd be possible to add some more of ways to free yourself from the tractor beams? My biggest, yet still pretty small gripe with the mod is that there's no way to release yourself from the tractor beam other than shooting the wither storm in the eye and landing in water or performing a water bucket clutch. Here's a some suggestions I have:
- Grappler arrows - A special arrow type that, when loaded into the bow or crossbow, lets you fire an arrow that's bound to the weapon via rope. If you manage to hit a solid block that's in a, say, 20 block range from your current location, the arrow will basically act as an anchor, keeping you suspended midair while the wither storm is attempting to pull you in. Wither storm should lose focus on you and drop you, consuming the projectile. As for a crafting recipe I haven't really got an idea, but it should be on the border of being cheap and not too abundant.
- Forewarning - Giving the player a slight warning before they irreversibly start to get sucked in, giving them the screen effect & auditory cue while pulling them towards the wither storm. This should make it so if you're running away in a straight line or towards the wither storm you're going to get sucked in, but if you move sideways you'll be able to get out of the tractor beam (just barely).
Main focus here not being able to fully prevent, but to be able to free yourself and not suffer a 100% lethal fall unless there's water beneath you. The water bucket does work in Single player but on your common joe servers which lag like crazy it's borderline impossible to perform. Now moving away from players here's a list of buffs/tweaks I think the wither storm should get.
- More digging - A pretty good counter to the wither storm is to base underground and feel pretty safe while doing it. I feel like the wither storm should be able to mass excavate the ground if it's following players that are hidden underground, although it would take it some 15-20 minutes to fully breach through if the player is at y = 0. Of course it's possible for players to just move several blocks and hide from the direct gaze of the wither storm, but that possibility of it making a hole and grabbing unsuspecting players through it would be awesome.
- Re-summoning - Not exactly sure how this would be done, but using the withered nether star in the whole process would give it some use. Getting command block tools is the main reward you get by fighting the wither storm, so giving players to get more would be welcome. Since the withered nether star has no use currently this would give it some (perhaps using it in a command block crafting recipe?) , and in case it does get a super powerful use, limiting it to 1 per world by having to use it to summon a wither storm would give it more potential for power.
I think the nether star should be used to make a corrupted beacon, but it gives you some super cool effects or somethings. I don't really think players should be given more chances to escape the wither storm, I think that it should be an almost unstoppable killing machine. I love the idea of it being able to dig up underground bases, because it did that just fine in the original game if I remember correctly.

Essentially if you put a map on an item frame, and one of the marked entities is on one of those maps, a beam will shine from the amulet and point on the map where they are. It would actually be quite useful when it comes to finding exactly where the marked entity is. (and accurate to the source material which is important somehow I guess)

I know you're probably close to being finished, but I'd like to point out that in the original game it can track five entities or players. Cyan, Red, Green, White, and Blue. You've seemed to use the blue to track the wither storm, which is fine, but a fifth option would also be nice. Also in story mode the witherstorm tracks the amulet just as well the amulet tracks the witherstorm and I think that'd make a cool game mechanic.

And btw, i have two suggestions: Add the sounds of Wither Storm evolving (I mean when its at his first stages (1-3) and when he evolves into fifth and seventh stages, like Egender has- AND YES, ik that when he becomes fourth stage, you will hear it growling in the distance). And can you add the looped version or just sounds of 2 small Wither Storms (or fragments i forgot)
This is the 5th person i have to tell that 1.18.2 is STILL supported with updates. 1.16.5 is the only abandoned version

This mod just keeps getting better and i can't wait to see what the withered nether star does my guess is that the effects of a beacon would reach every player in that minecraft world and i just thought about this wall in the bathtub what if new armor, structures, dimensions and maybe even more bosses from minecraft story mode was added into this cause i would love to see a kinda city in the sky dimension or possibly a different version of the pama boss fight and armor found in new structures it probably won't happen but it would definitely be cool
Responding to everything you said with facts I got from Patreon and the mod page and other sources:
- a beacon is already added (in nonamecrackers2's enviorment only yet, the mod isn't out yet) which uses the withered nether star
- armor wont happen especially because crackers said theres already a different mod that adds the armor
- dunno about structures
- technically the bowels are a seperate dimension but I think I know what you mean
- the mod only focuses on the Wither Storm so other bosses will probably not happen
- someone else also asked for PAMA and if I remember correctly cracker actually said it might happen but I'm not sure

There's a one to one recreation of story mode. They haven't released all the episodes yet but they've released 1-4 for download which are the only ones the witherstorm appears in

Cool! Are you ever thinking of making a stage 8 or 9 of the Wither Storm where it's back covers the sky? I get that you are going for a game accurate Wither Storm, but I feel like there should be an element of being against the clock to beat the Wither Storm before it grows to big and powerful.
Stage 8 with the wither storm chunks that are out should attach to the main storm while his “head” still grows. I can’t think of anything for stage 9 or a 10 maybe..

There is no mod for the cinematic shots.
I would use replay mod but there is no modern version for forge, so I just go in spectator and use my scroll wheel to slow my movement speed down.

EDIT: it already has a 1.19 version, I have the 1.18.2 version, gonna have to redownload the mod so I can download the 1.19 version.
Currently, the Storm always knows where you are unless you're in the End or Nether. So the amulet would need another use (that being the one in the video)
