heres a trick to speeding that bullshit up. you know how they do a partial fill then check for leaks? for example you need 1lb in the system, the machine whill put in like 0.25lbs and check if pressures hold. to get around all of these many checks and partial fills, tell the machine a 1lb car needs 4lbs and when it puts in a quarter charge and starts checking for leaks, pull the plug out of the wall and put the machine away. you now filled the cars system in a fraction of the time.
As long as the rotors will still be within spec after, resurfacing them with on-car lathes is great. Like you said, saves the customer money which makes them more inclined to buy the service. Our Pro-Cut lathe is stupid easy to setup and it's quick to knock out the job. Great video man!

Snap-on is RAPIDLY pricing themselves right out of the tool business! Aside from the fact that the NEW ICON line up is quite impressive (nay sayers must check them out), it is so far under S-O rip off pricing people are quickly gonna switch. Icon's lifetime warranty beats the hell out of S-O's warranty where they won't warranty handles and many other tools beyond a year. I have plenty (mostly) Snap -on tools but won't be buying any more! Not when I can get (in some instances) better tools for 1/4 to 1/10 the price WITH a lifetime warranty! S-O is asking a working Mechanic who typically might make between 30K - 90K to buy into their rip off prices and interest programs to a tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. S-O Junkies are NOW working for Snap-on, NOT themselves (since they are always paying the Tool Guy)! I know S-O has always been expensive - BUT NOT these crazy prices and many (or most) of their tools are not even made in USA any longer! IMHO S-O's days are numbered! Just my opinion of course and don''t mean to infuriate S-O Junkies but it might be time to wake up Fellas!
