I installed the rear air flow kit 2 years ago. Amazing product! The rear rows air flow has reduced considerably the last 4 months. I think it’s about time I clean the rear evaporator. Glad I watched this video.
Great job Mr Salvatore! I had my kit installed for a couple of years. I just took it down to add insulation and some guide for the air to the vents. The difference is amazing! Thank you for helping us stay cool!
Thank you Chad. I am so happy to hear that everyone' s rear ac is now working great and your children are cool and comfortable. Cleaning your rear evaporator is a must for high air flow and colder temperature. Thanks again and have a cool summer.
I can not stress enough the importance of doing a good job of cleaning your rear evaporator and using a screen protector kit for the intake vents on the ac panel. The blower motor sucks air into the blower motor housing when running. It will also suck in dirt and debris. Pet hair, candy wrappers etc. Anything that is near the ac panel. This debris gets attached to the rear evaporator and the build up will block air flow. You can get it 90% clean without removing the blower motor. Thus saving you time and labor. The exhaust side of the evaporator will always look clean. The blockage is under the blower motor where you can not see. I use an Endoscope thru the fins of the blower motor to view the evaporator. You can place a bolt in between the fins to spread them apart. Be careful not to break any fins on the blower motor or it will spin out of balance and you will need to replace it. Follow my cleaning technique and you will be fine. Use a lot of compressed air at first when the evaporator is dry.
You can use reflectix for the roof panels which are front to back all 60" long. 13.5",13.5",14",14",14" and rear panel is 20". Make sure you cut out the reflectix for the magnets on the rear cargo light panel. You can use spray glue and clear silicone adhesive to glue them to the roof. The sun will not affect the silicone. But the spray glue is only to tack it to the roof panel until the silicone cures.
If you don’t want to do a big insulation job where you have to glue it to the roof. You can measure between the headliner retainers, cut out sections of reflectix for each roof panel. Remove the headliner retainers on the passenger side. Loosen the retainers on the drivers side. pull the headliner down a little on the passenger side and slip the reflectix over the airflow kit. Let the reflectix lay between the roof and the airflow kit. that will still protect it from heat.
For the roof and walls, can you advise on the thickness of sound dampening that would work? Seeing as everything is off already, I thought about how loud my van can be.

Make sure you put the rockwool in plastic trash bags near the rear ac unit so nothing gets sucked into the blower motor housing.
Yes they will. You can adjust the headliner to the roof with the screws on the headliner retainers. You only do a couple of turns so the vent louver will not bind against the duct. So you can operate the vent. In other areas you can tighten them down more.
No. You can buy a 24'' x 25' roll of Reflectix from home depot or Lowes. You need to use clear silicone to attach it to the roof. The heat from the sun will not detach it if you use silicone. The width of the roof panels are 60'' x 14.5 and the front panel is 13.5''. Rear panel is wider. Leave roof for the magnet strip tower to make contact with the metal roof.
Why is no one talking about a class action against Nissan to pay for this mod. It was clearly done with disregard to any of the 10 passengers in the rear.
Many people complained but Nissan did not care. Every time they brought it to the dealer. The mechanics said that they did not design the system and can only repair what Nissan engineered. There was no improvement to the air duct system. That is why I decide to invent a plastic air duct system for these vans. Nissan was more concerned about the Commercial side of the NV. The cargo vans with no rear air system. The NV's were discontinued in 2021. This rear air flow system will add value to your van. A buyer will buy an NV with high rear air flow then one without.
Do u know how to open the back of the drivers seat and passenger side seat im trying to install some head rest with tv screens and i need to open the back of the seat to run the power cords for them
What’s size are the hoses coming off the ac unit up along the driver side wall? I bought the air kit couple yrs ago unfortunately I live in Las Vegas and it melted the pipes wide open 🤦♂️ so now I’m trying to figure something else out.

You are welcome. Thank you for your support.
Installing mine now! Thanks Joe!!!
Awesome thank you for purchasing the kit. Have a cool summer.

So will the factory vent covers go back on once the headliner is back up?
Yes they will. You can adjust the headliner to the roof with the screws on the headliner retainers. You only do a couple of turns so the vent louver will not bind against the duct. So you can operate the vent. In other areas you can tighten them down more.
Is this still available? I cannot get to the website currently
Does the insulation you used witht the video come with the kit?
No. You can buy a 24'' x 25' roll of Reflectix from home depot or Lowes. You need to use clear silicone to attach it to the roof. The heat from the sun will not detach it if you use silicone. Will the air vent covers just push back in after headliner instalation? You didn't show that in the video

What is the color of the duct pipes?
I would pay for this mod-are you in Az?
Do you just sell the airport adapter?
No we do not. We sell them with our air flow kits.
