      @@crank3646 hello brother. i have a 525d 2004 and there is no power on engine.and i found exactly same pipe broken all the way can this pipe make the engine lose power or where it is coming from. the engine start very good and when you press gas on P it go 4000,5000 very good but when i put on D and start driving its so dead very power less. thanks in advance 😃

    @crank i have got 520D m sport it has alot of power but one day its just lost the power feel like car have no turbo, drive heavy take time to build speed do u think it’s going to be the same issue please????

    can you help me please: i bought e61 530d xd, and i drived 3 days..everthyng was normal, then the 4th day i was on highway and i pushed my foot on gas (kickdown) to try it how it will response on high speed (140km/h)..and the engine fault light turned on and in sais on navi ...engine fault - reduced power...and i noticed on my driveway some leakage of dark oil..what would it be

    Hey. I know its an old vid, but maybe you still check the comments. So I have this increased emission on my 535d, had an error code pointing to my MAF sensore. I replaced it but the error came back after a week. Today i found the same broken hose on my car. Did you have similar error codes, or could this charged air pipe leakage cause my problem?

    Hi, my car won’t rev over 3500rpm and I have no power. On tester I have error 3F57 - Charging pressure valve. I have changed the MAP sensor and still no power. Could this be related to a broken hose? Thanks.

    Help 🆘 My 335d e92 at full throttle only at 120mph goes into limp mode i change vacuum lines and its still the same problem

    Just had the same problem with my m57n2 530d. Easy to locate, there will be oil everywhere under the hood due to the fan spreading it around but mostly near the broken intercooler or pipe from it to the intake manifold. Easy to fix, also.

      @S. T I had that also :D a metal part of a coolant hose had rubbed a hole in the aluminium pipe. Take it to a welder who can weld aluminium. That repair cost me 10euros.

      Did this boost leek give and surging or hesitation on steady rpm revs? Eg between 1500-2000rpm?

      Stelian Dorneanu Some oil is normal like a few table spoons. Too much oil might be a symptom of turbo going bad or that the cylinder head cover seal is leaking internally. I’d bet my money on that cause these turbos are generally quite reliable.

    The aftermarket plastic coupling is often of bad quality. The hose is okay, so I would reuse the original coupling. I've replaced all three hoses on my 535d as they all went bad one after another. Still using the original couplings on both sides of the intercooler and to the intake (the one you replaced in this video). Great video. Liked and subscribed.

      Actually in my experience , the failing point is something around 30% for the plastic coupling and 70% for the rubber hose . For sure the aftermarket junk is not going to hold like the OEM , but still ... The question is 15 years old plastic vs chines brand new one :)

      @@crank3646 I agree. I keep the chinese plastic couplers as spares if/when my original ones break. :) I think I missed what app/program you were using for diagnostics. The graph looks a lot like the ones in the TestO program for Windows.

    my bmw 530d started put very hard black smoke when i hard accerlate over 2000 rpm, can it cause from boost leak or what do you know?

      Same problem as mine. Plus have some very uncomfortable sound from engine.

    Hey, I have e39 m57 530D atuomat and there is one issue I can't figure out. I saw a lot of your videos, they are all informative. Mine issue is that car sometimes gives boost and sometimes don't when I press gass pedal. I have no errors in my car. New vacuum lines, everything looks fine, but when i press gass pedal, car acts like it will boost you up, you feel that car wants to boost, but then nothing hapens, you are just left waiting for boost. Turbo is blowing fine. I was thinking maybe it can be turbo actuator, but turbo is working louder when pressing gass whithout maf hose. No smoke from car, no oil leak.

      Hello !
      You need to check on live data what is the actual vs specifiad intake pressure , the maf reading and probably the turbo actuator valve . I have few videos on some of this sensors , how to check it

      @@DjordjeSrpski no, but I will change my turbo to e60 160kw and remove catalizator or how is it called and i think it will solve it , because i hear turbo wissle.

    my e60 530d has a turbo screaming sound when i accelerate dont now wat it could be turbo looks fine only a little bit of play on the turbo

      Manifold seal probably or manifold with cracks (only the stainlesssteel variant)

    hey crank, i have question ..i bought a non runner e90 msport 335d which was parked for about a year ..it usually starts 1st time says the owner the battery died - replaced the battery , the engine turns but wont start ......no fuel to the injectors...cud you help?

      Hello Palmer !
      You need to check do you get any fuel to the high pressure fuel pump . You can do that with a diagnostic tool

      sigh , hi crank ..ive got fuel from the thank up to the hpfp..but nothing to the rail and injectors ..did a noid test and no signal to the injector plugs when i turn the ing .not good with diesels thats the truth..respect for the reply

      No fuel to the injectors and no control to them is different case . If you have fuel to the HPFP and no fuel to the rail , you can guess it by yourself :D If you don't have control of the injectors , you need to check the crank or cam sensors .

      hmmm, i got that thought held in the back of my mind ...but culd this be possible if a car is stood parked for months ...?? all i use to do is turn it over to warm it up and switch it off ..but during the last winter the battery died ..so we just left it till we bought a battery. new battery months later ..crank or cam sensor???

    обмислям покупка на бмв е60 535д, кой е по-добрият вариант за проект около 450к.с. фейслифта или преди фейслифта , тъй като чуx, че този модел преди фейса е със по-калпава скоростна кутия, докато при фейслифта вече този проблем го няма?

      Да кутията е доста по-добра . Единствения минус според мен е алуминиевия блок , докато при преди фейс-а е чугунен . Като цяло за тази мощност която гониш това не те засяга особено така че не е проблем .

      @@Tashyncho-Sapa Фейсовата държи на повече коне и въртящ момент , по-бърза и по-икономична е . Като цяло и старата не е лоша ако се обслужва редовно , но масово това не се прави , така че всичко е на късмет .

    Was the car slow under 3000 rpm? Felt like there was no turbo pressure under 3000rpm and when the big turbo kicked in it started to accelerate hard?

      These cars make a good amount of power , so if you are not familiar with them , you probably not going to feel it .

      Crank I have a 335d and i have the problem described above. It shows 1017mbar on DIS untill 3000 rpm and then things start to change. It also has oil on the intercooler. Is it possible not no make boost untill 3000rpm because of the broken intercooler?

      Seems unlikely for a leak in the intercooler or that plastic hose to cause that kind of power loss. I think it only leaks and loses power noticeably when the pressure builds up to a certain point. I had a 3cm leak in the hose and I only noticed a small power loss during acceleration. Do you have any fault codes?
