Time travel from the past to the future! Magnat Transpuls 1500 - More than retro! Thanks to its narrow pillar-like structure, most modern speakers blend into today's modern interiors and are so-called "living room friendly". However, this has not always been the case. Several of the studio speakers, as well as the legendary speakers of the 60s, 70s and 80s, were much larger and much more prevalent in sound than the current speakers. The large base element opens up the possibility of producing a very dynamic and powerful music experience. Many rock, soul, jazz and pop music enthusiasts as well as listeners to live music know how to appreciate the pulsating, powerful and direct-to-listen sound. Magnat Transpuls 1500 is equipped with the classic parts of these eras, but it has been developed with modern materials and tools, for example by using Klippe's laser measurement system with high precision. Specifications: Principle: 3-way CRA bass reflex Equipment: 1 x 15 "woofer 1 x 6.5 "intermediate register 2 x 1 ”Horn-Dome tweeter Power management (RMS / max.): 250/500 watts Sensitivity (2.8 V / 1 m): 95 dB Impedance: 4 - 8 ohms Frequency response: 16 - 35000 Hz Crossover frequencies: 920 Hz, 4800 Hz Recommended amplifier: 30 - 500 watts Dimensions (W x H x D): 514 x 1000 x 385 mm Weight: 37 kg
they remind me of my first DIY Visaton speakers from the mid-1970s which I have used for a long time always with a grin on my face together with a Mission Cyrus One amp
Expect the Tannoy to sound abit smaller in bass terms but still plenty for most scenarios and rooms, it is a smaller cab and driver after all.... but in every other respect and specifically imaging, coherence and musicality the Tannoy dual concentric which has smashed these three aspects out the park for decades will be far superior to the cheap but big brute that the Magnat is. And it should be at 5 times the price
These Transpuls 1500s shown are both the RIGHT SIDE version, with the dual tweeter assembly situated to the right of the midrange. So for a stereo pair, we would need to get the complete matching pair -- one RIGHT SIDE version and the other one being the LEFT SIDE model, with the twin tweeters being to the left of the midrange driver. Here in this demo, you have two RIGHT SIDE versions of the 1500 and no LEFT SIDE version. What!? So your stereo soundscape is going to be quite off. With the smaller TRANSPULS 1000 speakers, you in fact do have separate models for the LEFT SIDE and the RIGHT SIDE. But for the TRANSPULS 1500, I only see one model, the RIGHT SIDE model even listed on the Magnat product page. You are using two of them here, in both the tweeter assembly is on the right. There must or should be a dedicated LEFT SIDE version of the TRANSPULS 1500 with the tweeter being on the far left side, as it is in the TRANSPULS 1000 LEFT. If there isn't, the 1500 should be only used in mono for best results. Not in stereophonic with the proper left-to-right panorama. That would be a huge loss, really, as these babies look quite good. Rather strange brew from Magnat. At least they corrected this omission with the TRANSPULS 1000 -- with those, you do get a dedicated LEFT and separate RIGHT side speaker. Oh well, there is always something to spoil the fun, isn't there?
I keep discovering such great artists thanks to your channel. Keep up the great work!
Really like the retro look of those speakers. Great music, great sound in my headphones! Really like those speakers driver array.

Super Video wie immer. Würde gerne einmal EV Sentry3 hören und sehen 🙂 Bei Daumen hoch steht "Mag ich nicht mehr" ?????
I tend to think that these are the best speakers for jazz under 1000 euros.
Так невозможно слушать же !!! Одни сибилянты и тп. Динамики паршивые по качеству.
sorry, these speakers might sound good with a 25 watt tube amplifier or would you recommend a more muscular amp?
can we get these through any distributor in the US?
Use Transpuls with Xindiax cs 88 valve amp and feel all right when playing Pink Floyd loud and clear !almost as on concert ;-) You should try it !
Excuse me Brother...Are You Listen klipsch La Scala first version 1977 Vintage???

Звука нет в них
Very annoying thin sound.
Right. Seems like we start with frequencies at around 5-600 Hertz only. What, with a 15-inch woofer? Crazy.
@@frankfarago2825 Never evaluate the sound passed through a microphone that reached you through youtube. They can only be judged by listening live.
@skyline there is absolutely no bass in this song...
