People with similar interests and experiences always seem to find each other. I am glad you got this fixed and that you were blessed with so many people willing to help. I have had many similar experiences in the Jeep community. Just this last summer when I blew a tire on Schofield pass (rough 4 wheel drive "road" with steep grades and rocks that will tear the bottom out of any vehicle with less that 33" tires on it), I had people from 6 different vehicles helping me change it. Normally a tire change is not a big deal, but on a Jeep trail with a cliff on one side and a 500 ft drop on the other that is just wide enough for the vehicle you tend to take all the help you can get! I am thrilled that you found people who were just a willing to lend a hand.
Roadside assistance has been sketchy, at best, since the start of the pandemic. IME, both AAA and Good Sam are money grabs for RV roadside assistance. Currently carrying FMCA, but haven't had to attempt use yet... One thing we have learned is to call the campground. They are the most helpful with the local knowledge, and quite frequently they can help get your coach rescued. What an experience for you guys!
Oh my goodness. What an ordeal!!! I'm so sorry you had to go through that but happy that you guys were blessed to meet so many people who were able to lend a hand (and a shop and a truck) to you when you needed it. Talk about restoring faith in humanity! Well, some of humanity, anyway. I hope the new engine serves you guys well for many many miles to come!
@@JustOneAdventure I'm sure you are. Once you've had it running well for a while I'm sure some of the anxiety will pass. But I was tearing up watching you go through all of that.
OMG you guys what an ordeal! I’d be freaking out! So glad to know there are still good people in this country and everything worked out for the best! Stay safe!
I just came across this video. You folks are amazing. I would have been freaking out if this had happened to me. You 2 were so calm and collective. And yes there still are some awesome folks out there willing to help. And having a mechanic for a husband sure doesn't hurt either. You saved a ton on labor. Love your channel
I just subscribed to your channel but one thing's for sure about you guys you guys are smooth both if that would have happened to me with the engine I'll be buried
Sorry to hear about your truck. If I can help let me know.
Thank you so much for wanting to help. We are good and back on the road.
I'm very glad that you met some awesome people while going through your ordeal.
Same here

Being on the road, we have learned that you just need to roll with the punches. Trust me there were some moments of breakdown. Thanks for watching
Just curious, kind of nosy! how much did all of that cost you? The new motor?
