Hello! I have watched many tutorials to make flowers because I want to make a flower crown for my sister and your video is the only one that has made sense! You are absolutely beginner friendly, and I really appreciate the time you take to show where the stitch is at that you are going into next. I am so excited that I can make flowers now - HUGE THANK YOU!!!!
Here are written instructions, let me know if you spot any mistakes :) 1. Magic circle 2. chain x1 3. Single crochet x5 4. Tighten the magic circle 5. Slip stitch into the first stitch you made (next to the chain) 6. Chain x2 7. Double crochet in the same place as slip stitch, pull up so its the same lenght as 2 chain x6 8. You should have 13 loops on your hook. Grab yarn and pull it through all of them 9. Chain x3 10. Repeat steps 5-9 for petals 2-5 11. Slip stich and chain 1 12. Snip yarn, tighten the loop, puff up the flower and weave in the ends
lol puff stitches are SO HARD. I made a blanket with puff stitches and they only started to look nice and neat after I’d done it for hours for about 2 days straight. After a while muscle memory kicks in and you finally start to get it and understand how to keep the tension consistent. But just know it’s gonna look pretty bad at first and stick with it! It’s so worth it. I promise.

I know this is an easy pattern but mine looks deformed. I cannot make a flower that looks normal. First to tight and then deformed.
