Hope you guys enjoyed the trailer edit. I'm really happy how it turned out. Wasn't sure how well the music would work but I think I really fit the tone of season 7. My thought process when making this trailer edit: • Like all my trailer edits, I treat it as this was an official trailer for the movie/show. More fun that way. • I decided to work on the last 3rd first as that's was the main portion I already had an idea how it would go. Having Maul talk about the "plan", Ahsoka sensing Anakin's fall, and having Rex's helmet drop as the music kicks in. • Wanted to have more clips from the first 2 arcs in the season but I had a hard time finding one's that fit with the music. • To emulate the Ellie clicker joke I thought, "let's have some Obi-Wan and Anakin banter. • With Maul's opening dialogue, I tried to find clips that matched what he's saying like when he says "Republic" it cuts to Anakin and Padme. • I did sync a few clips to the music, one was by accident. The clip of Maul and Ahsoka fighting as Maul turns his saber. • Wanted few quick clips of Ahsoka fighting during Order 66, felt weird to not have at least one. • I didn't want to put Vader as the stinger at the end but I couldn't think of anything better plus, if this was the real trailer, people would've lost it. Have a trailer edit suggestion, leave it in the comments below. Can be any Star Wars movie or Show with any trailer music, doesn't have to be just Star Wars.
Ok I'm impressed. This actually fits more than I thought it would. My favorite parts are: • 1:08 to 1:23 it really gives a sense of doom and confusion. • 1:35 and 1:43 Rex's dialogue gives me chills just listening to it and tears. The picture of Rex, Cody, Echo, and Fives is the icing on the cake. • 1:461:491:51 and 1:54 the way you synced the music to the clips was just awesome. I'm a sucker for trailers being synced to the music.
