I think these companies should get in trouble for prematurely terminating someone before they have even been found guilty of anything! This is getting ridiculous and anyone that is caught lying about stuff like this should face jail time.
He’s not a great actor. He’s not even a mediocre actor. I saw his last movie but never again, and that was before all of this. It was that awful. He even made Hugh Jackman look bad.
I said this earlier to someone. Even in interviews he comes across as one dimensional. Its like he's stuck in Deadpool mode constantly & you never get to see who he actually is as a person
Working (anonymous) Hollywood Filmmaker here - I've directed over 10 feature films and dozens of TV episodes, and more importantly worked closely on set with quite a few very well known actors in the industry. I have no inside knowledge of anything that took place on this set. But I do recognize a certain pattern of toxic behavior that's being described here. I can't say I know who is right or wrong in this situation, and I'm honestly trying to remain as objective as possible while the facts come out, but I'm definitely feeling a little PTSD as I hear this response to BL's accusations. I personally have experienced situations and demands by actors that are similar to what's described here and the only thing I'd say in response to this video is this - and again, not saying these claims by JB are true and factual BUT, if they are, this is EXTREMELY toxic behavior to any film production and I do not agree AT ALL that this is just Hollywood actors being Hollywood actors. This is definitely common in Hollywood, but it is VERY bad behavior and it can absolutely destroy set morale and majorly harm any sized production. I would MUCH RATHER work with a smaller named actor who does not create toxicity on set than I would with a larger named actor who brings "more value" to the marketing of the film but who creates far more issues for production than that value is ever worth. I don't think people understand how small the community of a film set is and how important it is for everyone to be working together to foster a positive environment for everyone. That goes for the director and the lead actors and actresses. All of those very large named actors can make as many demands as they want to when it comes to the negotiating of the film terms. But once the work gets started, there is NO WORLD where it is okay to behave like what is being described in this response. And, again, I feel the need to say I am not defending JB. Nor am I attacking BL. I have no idea who did what on that set. But I disagree with the notion that what's described here is not so bad. It is legitimately toxic behavior and IF IT IS true, there is no one I know that would want to work with an actor who does those things. Its beyond abusive towards the hard working crew members who show up every day to do their job but become demoralized by the erratic behavior of the stars they are in close proximity to and who have a great deal more power than them to disrupt the harmony on set. Also, the idea that "we would be appalled" at the behavior of most Hollywood elites is not an excuse for the appalling behavior. I've worked with plenty of A-list, Oscar winning actors who are beyond gracious and wonderful people (at least publicly to the best of my knowledge and experience) and who are amazing on set. Its not an excuse for poor behavior and it doesn't make the poor behavior any easier to deal with when you're the one on the other end. What isn't clear to people from the outside is, the reason these people become so toxic in many cases is (in addition to whatever mental illness and narcissism they possess) their status gives them the power to get away with what they are doing. They don't lose the job when they start acting like this because it would become too costly and too difficult to turn back. They are basically holding the entire crew and studio hostage and the more they are able to get away with this the more their illness grows. It also means they HOLD ALL THE POWER on the set. Which makes this behavior even more toxic because those people with all the power on set who are willing to wield that power in bad faith force everyone to walk around on eggshells and/or bend the knee. And I'm sorry to say, none of this surprises me and it (at the very least) FEELS consistent with the poor behavior demonstrated in the viral interview from a few months ago. Actors with the power to behave this way who then DO so inappropriately and abusively often intentionally do things to cause drama and tension on sets and during press tours. When I first saw the interview with BL and Parker Posey, my first reaction was that I felt BL would be a very difficult person to work with on set and that PP appeared to me like she feared upsetting BL. The way PP gradually capitulated to BL's cruel demeanor towards the interviewer seemed indicative of an actor who knows how difficult this person can be if you don't bow down and take her side, which felt like it came from experiences on set. I can only guess, and I'm not excusing PP's poor behavior either, but it felt to me like she didn't go in there to be mean to that interviewer, but when she recognized BL was upset, she feared her wrath and took her side. I can't see any other reason for her to immediately shift her behavior during the interview once she saw that BL didn't like the woman. So I just wanted to post here and say, this is not to take sides or tell anyone I believe JB over BL, or that even if BL behaved poorly on set that there is no validity to any of her claims, but I take issue with normalizing or excusing this behavior. Big star or not, value to the marketing of the film or not, it does not make it okay to become a toxic or abusive person around those who don't have the power to stand up to you or hold the boundaries that are being crossed.
I'm sorry, the more I listen to the response here, the more upsetting it is to hear this behavior normalized as "no big deal". YOU HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND that Blake Lively as a BIG STAR is certainly allowed to make outlandish demands and or requests BEFORE CONTRACTS ARE SIGNED and when the production has the ability to decide NOT to work with her, but once those contracts are signed, the budget is in motion every day for months WAY BEFORE any cameras roll. AND ESPECIALLY after the cameras begin to roll, an actress like Blake Lively leaving the production over unreasonable demands could DESTROY THAT PRODUCTION. Millions of dollars are spent before the film production starts...its not as easy as replacing an actress. I've actually HAD to replace an actress before in a film and I can tell you the cost to the production was astronomical and in this case, that actress had only filmed for 4 or 5 days total and was not as big a role in the production as BL was to IEWU. Also, JB having to "talk man to man" with Ryan Reynolds is not a thing. I'm in this industry and I had no idea who Justin Baldoni was before this movie and its controversy started. Ryan Reynolds is one of the most powerful actors in Hollywood. If you don't see the power dynamic as being ALL on RR's side, you're not understanding what was going on here. JB was forced to stand and take punishment from RR and could not respond with how he felt or just talk "man to man" with him...if he were to say ANYTHING that RR didn't like in that situation, if he did ANYTHING but bend the knee and kiss the ring, his movie would be finished before it ever got done filming. I just think there is a real disconnect from the reality of this situation and what Peter is reading here. I am a very big fan of the work you do, Peter. I love your unbiased analysis of cases. But I don't think you're fully comprehending how bad all of what's being described is. It is dehumanizing to have to experience these things that are being described. SO...again, not saying I know its true. But I take issue with the excusing this behavior as no big deal.
@@dizzywar3998. Thank you or your input. I’ve never watched this creator before, so I couldn’t tell if he was biased towards one person or another because he kept saying how he is not surprised by how bad the behavior is being described here. Ultimately, he just strikes me as the type of person who finds strengths and weaknesses in both sides as part of the analysis. Maybe that is fair as a lawyer. However, I think the practice of law on the level of these suits that are being filed left and right by these actors and all of the other parties involved does not depend solely on facts and law, there is a large narrative and emotional component as well, clearly. I’m sure this creator’s legal opinion is valid, not sure how accurate his take is on how all of this will be perceived and addressed. I don’t really care about the outcome here one way or the other. I never watched the tv shows either actor was in, so no loyalties there. I’m annoyed that I keep running across the details of all of these happenings tangentially because everyone is talking about it, even in podcasts that have nothing to do with film or gossip. But I am fascinated with the fact that all of it is playing out so publicly, feels like a good teaching moment unfolding in real time regarding power, intention, professionalism, and how important informed consent and contracts can be. I’ll also say that I’m never going to be able to watch any production that any of these people or their friends and fellow actors are in for a long time, maybe ever. “Never meet your heroes”
Very well said and good to read an insider's perspective on whether the alleged behaviors should be considered de minimis. The legal teams would do well to have insider expert testimony to explain what is and is not industry standard behavior, because jurors not familiar with the industry may have a knee-jerk reaction that it is minor stuff that big name stars get away with all the time or, the other way around.
lol yeah - I think they will be dissecting all of this. Certain things, I think she will win on the fact he may have been 'unprofessional' in dressing room. He obviously was just kidding and colleagues do this to me , like make sexual jokes, but I just don't make a fuss about it but she could win that aspect of her case. He was unprofessional, if what she is saying is true. Regards, to the fact shes arguing that he's damaged her career etc, I don't think that would be successful, as I feel it was a contributing factor of her own interviews, and things shes said. Regarding Ryan Reynolds, I would say he's not done anything illegal, and they agreed to put his script in the movie? SO its hard for them to backtrack now and say 'he shouldn't have done that.' I think she will win on the unprofessional maybe sexual innuendos etc, or inappropriateness which will damage him... but I don't think she will win on the defamation of it ruining her career - as I think that was a contributing factors, rather than SOLELY him. If it was solely him - then yes she would win, but its not. I think it will be balanced. She will get some monetary rewards, but will also not be successful on other elements, in my opinion. It will be a bittersweet win, perhaps?
It could have been better if she had let Justin direct it. She apparently did the final cut. Not sure if this is true but apparently there was a tested audience, watching her cut and Justin's cut. The audience preferred Justin's cut, but Sony gave this one to Blake and released her cut. They had creative differences and she wanted it more to be a rom-com.
Well it’s true and Trump just sued and won mind you for a reporter that called him a rapist which he is not! You don’t know how many times he has made speeches and they twist his words to fit their narrative. I hope Justin sues the times and wins!
6:25 Justin’s lawyer clearly said they want all the evidence brought out to the public, so they are not hiding the fact that they are using the lawsuit as an opportunity to get his side of the story out to repair his reputation. They are clear and upfront about it and it makes sense.
The fact that they are doing it through a lawsuit and not just releasing the evidence to the media makes me suspicious. They know they can’t be sued if they misrepresent the truth because of litigation privilege.
@@sallycinnamon5370 the lawsuit and particularly requesting trial (not a settlement) is necessary to gain access to all of the evidence through discovery. This means that both sides will have to provide all evidence and that the evidence will be put through scrutiny and upheld to standards of a court of law. Putting a press release out there proves nothing because words are cheap and misrepresentation is easy.
@ Because they could have sued her at the same time but chose not to. I’ll believe it when I see it. Men abusing women in Hollywood is common. Women suing for harassment when it isn’t true to gain film rights is ridiculous. It makes 0 sense. They are admitting the harassing her…they just say they are justified.
I’ve heard another dancer/actor say on podcasts that when it comes to lifts, requesting information about body weight is very typical and a non-event. With or without back problems. Again, context matters.
Thanks for the info! I read the complaint earlier and just realized while watching Peter that Baldoni is claiming he asked his trainer this information, not Blake directly, which also changes things. It's very different to ask a trainer for a person's weight so they can lift the appropriate amount of weight during training, then randomly asking a coworker on set how much they weigh. Also, the fact that the trainer went and told Lively about it seems odd. Would like to hear what the trainer has to say.
It also looks to me like Baldoni is going to file an emotional distress and hostile harassment suit of his own, His texts and stories are already setting up the stage for a distress claim felt also by the editors -- as well as Justin himself suffering a spinal infection during this time due to stress. the trauma experienced by ryan reynolds berating him, the humiliation of leaving him AND his family out of the promotion of his own film--, and the text messages between the PR reps showing how much anxiety he had, even the episode of him crying in her trailer, as admitted by lively herself is admitting to emotional distress he experienced... laying the foundation
@@sh.boogies well, that and an extortion lawsuit. Because harassment, even distress can be he said she said, difficult to prove -- but the evidence for extortion here is difficult to refute, especially since there's evidence of Blake receiving credit against the wishes of the owners of the film. And if Baldoni got the government to bring a criminal charges... boy.. that's a different ball game.
Her lies are being exposed: 1) she claimed “s3xual harassment” that they didn’t have an intimacy coordinator, when her text shows she did. 2) claimed he sexualized her character, when texts show her saying SHE wanted her character to be more sexy and wear sexier clothes 3) claimed he added intimate scenes and called that “s3xual harassment “, when they were suggestions from the intimacy coordinator from meetings she didn’t want to attend 4) claimed he and other producer walked in on her when she was nursing, when text shows she invited him while she was pumping. He responded he was eating with crew and would be there later, probably being respectful and giving her time to finish up. 5) claimed one of producers showed her pornographic photo of his wife, (and so, “s..harassment “ to her), when it was to reference the birthing scene she had to do. And the photo had nothing inappropriate about it, so much so that news sites have posted it. I saw it myself and it was fine. The public is fed up with her and Ryan’s lies. Will never support anything they’re in again.
Not to mention how the messages and emails were edited to present a lie. For example the sarcastic smiley removed and the stuff about out doing themselves or the stuff about having her buried. The proceeding texts revealed a completely different story. New York Times should be held accountable for being a propaganda machine. Where is the journalistic ethics? How did they go through all these messages and "missed" The proceeding messages or didn't see the emoji? this case is beyond celebrities pr fighting. This is a bigger picture of how trusted news source will skew the truth for money? how can the public trust what they are reading? can't wait for his counter sue to come out against Lively!
This is not a fair fight to start. Ryan Reynolds’s and his wife can throw money for years at this and for PR to spin this to their liking. Will we even hear true details or will they be sealed? I don’t even know who this JB is till now. I am not saying I side with JB over Reynolds and lively. I’m say it’s like bringing a Honda civic to a formula 1 race . The courts work for affluent unless their behaviour is egregious and they are holding the gun or their name is Puff Diddy. He was telling everyone about all his dirty dealings.
Blake was asked in an interview about her doing the intimacy coordinator's job and instructing Justin on how he should pull and kiss her. She was completely taken aback by the question and LIED, like it never happened, until the interviewer clarified she literally saw a backstage footage of Blake doing exactly that. They had an intimacy coordinator but she still gave her input and instructions directly to Justin. It's crazy how people forgot about things like that, and how these situations are what caused all the criticism.
@@purpleyellow9617 it's all over. You can easily find it on the internet. She grabs him by the waist with one hand presses his body against hers. He looked uncomfortable.
@@ezzb Is this the video? I never saw this before. Yea it's quite perplexing now that this lawsuit is out. But in her lawsuit Blake said that the intimacy coordinator was hired After the "all hand on" meeting. So I think this clip would still help Blake's case. I dunno 🤷♀️ ua-cam.com/video/BD-t2yzuEVk/v-deo.htmlsi=sbt5Ty9RrOkzZJch
I saw that. She was a bit awkward when they mentioned her directing Justin during intimate shots. She was like "where Did you see that" and they told her that there was a video of her doing it. Then she laughed and agreed. She did not give victim vibes AT ALL. Her whole accusation is to rehabilitate her public image but it seems she might have dug a deeper hole for herself and her husband
The husband is involved because he’s arrogant, and the less famous wife wants to employ his clout. Plus she’s not all that smart - so she can’t do it alone.
Yeah this is the part I don’t understand… like why was he in meetings? He’s not part of the film, if Blake has issues she should bring a lawyer not her husband?
@@FloatingInSpace5702because Sony produced his Deadpool films. He definitely did shady stuff. That’s not me guessing, Blake, on the red carpet said Ryan rewrote a pivotal scene which is WILDLY inappropriate for him to do since it’s not his movie. They didn’t tell anyone and no one, including the screenwriter or director. They found out when she said it on camera 🫠. He also tried to buy the rights for the sequel and Justin said no. They can both go in the trash 😂
I’m lost. When did Blake Lively become a BIG star?? Who is she, Jennifer Lawrence, or Scarlett Johannson? She hasn’t done anything really huge or really carried a large movie on her own. Btw, Lively editing the script & having Ryan do un-authorized edits is a HUGE deal! It’s rare for directors to allow this.
Exactly! All of her roles have mid acting. She's most popular for being Ryan Reynold's wife and Taylor Swift's friend. I could see why someone wouldn't want to get on the bad side of someone with her connections.
It doesn’t even matter whether she is a big star . The point is she’s a working woman in an unacceptable workplace . The smear campaign is sure working on SO SO SO many pawns . Every person deserves respect in the workplace ….from toilet cleaners right thru to ‘ big stars ‘ . FFS …stop making the smear campaigners job so easy . Stand up for what’s right instead
I’m kinda blown away. According to Baldonis perspective she got what she wanted but after the animosity that she received that was inspired by her choices for the movie, she decided to lash back and file a sex harassment complaint against him? Where do I get that audacity?😂 My eyes have opened to how people can create their own warped reality and justify their own poor character and the unfortunate consequences to the choices they take no accountability for. Wow like wow 😮
Once a guy has crossed "the creeper" "the predator" "the inappropriate" boundary.....the rules change. A friend can say and do something and it be fine but a person you are uncomfortable with cannot do those things. There is no trust. So it depends when this happened before or after she said 'This needs to stop'....
@@lynnd.5135that same audacity that got her and her frizzy, only beach appropriate hair making and teaching women and selling haircare line. And I have the same hair and now exactly what I am talking about.
She wanted two things: a reputation rehabilitation via PR to gain sympathy and support, and to get the book movie rights from Baldoni via crushing his career
🎯I’ve been in mediations where one party is histrionic and alleges a bunch of stuff and the other party just wants to be done and acquiesces to stipulations abt things that never happened. It never works because the party that made the unfounded allegations uses the agreed to stipulations to prove that the other party did do them. Appeasement never works.
Dude, I don’t think you know much about the people that you are covering. Blake is NOT a huge mega star. Without Ryan, she’s a B- list actress at best.
Baldoni was dropped from his agency as soon as The Times article came out as well an Award was taken back all because of the false reporting of the Times....I hope he wins his reputation back as this is just awful.
That’s HARSH. Real Johnny depp vibes there. I don’t think he will win against the times, but if he goes after he privately, I think he has a better shot (just my opinion 🙃)
@@klaj6595nothing like Johnny Depp. The fact that some people aren’t aware of his work is causing them to make assumptions, which is problematic when we should be concerned with facts.
We seen this before, with Depp when Disney dropped him, but Dior kept him. Amber lost everything by lying and the evidence proved it. I don’t think Blake will want it to go to trial, as her “smear campaign” will prove her intended malace.
She's someone that won't tell you when you're crossing her lines but just keeps encouraging you to blander while she keeps score. As powerful as she was on that set why didn't she just say in the moment, "I'm not comfortable with public breastfeeding, guys". They clearly thought she was and were trying not to make it a big deal since she insists on being part of the production process. If they'd cut her out she'd have claimed it was discrimination against new mothers!!
@@jakestroll6518 Because she wasn't uncomfortable with the breastfeeding. ( But you're right, it is as simple as that. It doesn't take a lawsuit). But she was openly doing it and inviting people to show up and speak with her in her trailer. Or pumping. Then two weeks later, she's saying things like "he made eye contact with me" when he didn't even remember looking at her (Heath that is)... Is she PRINCE now? Now eye contact is what...WRONG? You can tell she is all over the place. I think her disdain for them had to do with the fact that she was trying so hard to control the movie... And even though they gave in so much, I imagine they had to give pushback at points. It's HIS MOVIE after all. But she truly believed it was hers. In her lawsuit, she calls her fellow actors her "employees." 🤦🏼♂️ As if she was their BOSS. But I think if at any time they pushed back or tried to stay on course, she was completely unreasonable, truly thinking that she was in control, and how dare they cross her.... Meanwhile, it was never her movie, and they were just caving because she was such a nightmare. Unfortunately, they caved enough in the beginning that she began to expect it at all times. She is a Diva that tops all Divas.
One thing I want to point out about Blake. She is not considered an 'A" list actress or a big star. She has always been only a subpar actress. She is however married to a big star (Ryan Reynolds) which is one of the reasons anyone even knows who she is and that alone elevates her status.
True… the only thing that makes her a “big star” in Hollywood is also her status in the fashion scene, her idea as a socialite and being one of Taylor Swift’s best friend.
Absolutely. Her entire brand is so entwined with her husbands that she couldn't promote this film without tying it to Deadpool 3 as some kind of Barbie + Openheimer redux. And ironically THAT marketing style is what triggered her backlash.
Regarding signing documents, 26:58 it may mot apply: Baldoni and team (in the complaint) say that Team Lively make it sound like there was an actual document but there wasn’t. However, the 17 point ***topics** WERE discussed at the meeting. Team Baldoni complains that NYT made it sound like: (a) there was a document that include terms like “no more (insert behavior)” (b)he signed it.
Then I am sure she has the sign document😊 will see ,also I am pretty sure they did sum signing so film could go on and as they were losing money after writers strike as she won't do the filming. Sensible stuff to do .There was a mail where, they explain why they sign and none of the above stuff was in it.
And most of her issues are a result of not engaging the Intimacy Coordinator before filming as required. They wouldn't be sending her clips of birth scenes or workshopping love scenes if she'd allowed the intermediary to do her job.
The weight question is legitimate. JB, has a bad back, he didn’t ask her, he asked his trainer. BL, is insecure if she felt that was “fat shaming”. That is her problem - not his. Can’t imagine the hell he went through trying to direct her. She should not have been casted on this film. She doesn’t have the the acting skills for this type of Movie-- lord forbid the director tries to push her to get the best possible outcome Would love to see how she would have responded to Stanley Kubrick
I have a feeling he regrets bringing her into this film immensely. Sorry, but I don't believe her at all I think she was upset he didn't find her irresistible so she concocted this plan to ruin him. There are videos of her directing him!!
I think Blake is the type of woman who thinks everyone wants her that's why she always thought Justin had some ulterior motive in all his actions, directions towards her and she wanted to control the movie and how she appeared on it regardless of the director/studio's vision. When she says sexy or whatever, it's okay but when Justin says it or his associates to her, its suggestive or malicious. It all boils down to ego.
In the Philippines, there's this actress Andi Eigenmann who got pregnant and accused the father, Albie Casiño of not taking accountability and for "neglecting" her. The young and upcoming actor took all the heat, then all of his projects got cancelled and his roles were given to someone else. Turns out, he wasn't even the father. The real father is a guy called Jake Ejercito, from a powerful political family. The actress' career still strived, meanwhile Albie's career was ruined and was no longer given projects and opportunities. Whenever I hear stories like this, it reminds me of Albie. #JusticeForAlbie
That's not going to happen here. Everyone knows what a mean bully BL and RR are. They should both be cancelled I plan to watch everything and anything JB is in from now on. Except this nightmare. How could anything they do on screen be believable. So gross. He must have been so grossed out doing anything with her.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was a HUGE hit back in the day, and she was MAJORLY successful in Gossip Girl. I'm not a fan of Lively (not her target demographic) and I'm leaning towards Baldoni in this case, but to say she's not a major star is a huge misrepresentation of her popularity. There's no need to distort the truth in order to buttress your dislike of her claims; she can be popular and still be wrong.
@ I’m a huge gossip girl fan. That show ended in 2012. Travel pants was 05. And the sequel in 08 to which was right when gossip girl was in season 2 or 3 . My point is they’re not box office hits. She’s not a Scarlett Johannesson an Angelina Jolie , Florence Pugh type of draw. Her demographic is very much Taylor swifts friend and Ryan Reynolds’s wife. Not taking sides in the case I’m still learning about it. It’s also telling that she’s the only GG star to not be in touch with any one from GG. Also her range is very much Serena from GG. This film felt like Serena was just on another trip on an episode of GG. I enjoyed it. But to say she’s a huge star /actress is inaccurate
This is the same thing that happened with Depp. It’s not a coincidence that both men have the same pr firm. Or that both men are absolutely toxic. Or that misogynists exist, from both men and women. Or that most of these stories end up with the men being proven to be worse than we thought. Cosby, Weinstein, and on and on and on. But hey I’m sure THIS guy is different:rolleyes:
No he won’t reporting on a lawsuit is not illegal. It didn’t work for Depp when he sued a publication for calling him a wife beater because the media has a reasonable expectation of reporting facts. And in this case reporting a lawsuit is facts
She came with the Sony distribution deal. I think RR had some pull with that. Sony wanted her and if she wasn’t chosen deal was off. He should’ve found another studio and not picked Sony.
It is looking like Justin is more credible. He has very to point explanations for everything she has accused him of and will have others that can coroborate a lot of his stuff. Oh and I know he signed the list of stuff she put forth, and it looks he is agreeing to the list, but when not only his money and work was on the line, but other people had money on the line as well. So of course he signed it. Thats totally reasonable.
As a woman with one bulging disc in my back, I think it was completely reasonable to confirm her weight to prevent further injuries. Bulging discs are painful! Blake looks amazing no matter what the number is - that question was about safety.
Nope read the lawsuit. They explicitly say the list of demands from her lawsuit were never presented to them in a document or signed. They explicitly complain that she presented the information as if it was a document.
Why didn't she show proof that he signed the list of demands....bcz there was no document. Also in her first complaint she accused him of SH. But where is the SH in her lawsuit she filed in New York? Do you have answers to these questions 😂 if not you're just a Blake Bot.
I'm no fan of either party but I'm sorry you can't hold JB to a certain standard and not hold BL and RR to the same. If we're going to criticize every move JB made, then we can't brush BL and RR spoiled controlling attitude and demands under the rug, by simply saying "Oh this is just how ppl act in Hollywood! It's not surprising". You do understand you can justify sexual harassment by the same token, right? "Oh this is Hollywood! Sexual harassment comes with the territory. It's not surprising!"
@@Uilani-g4m The wrong side may be genuinely convinced they are right, whether they enter the situation with that belief or develop it as they become too entrenched in the role to shed it (think Amber Heard--it's entirely possible she ended up believing her side because she's too allergic to accountability).
Yep exactly it really was different than the book but even when they showed her house I shrugged it off as more visually interesting to have her play someone a bit wealthier than the book … but also changes tone bc the book there is certainly a power dynamic of finances
Haven't seen the film, but have seen stills and to be honest, her clothes look hideous - I wouldn't have guessed that they were expensive. My initial thought was actually how ungroomed, messy and not put together Blake looked in this film.
I get the impression that Justin is kind of hippy dippy - kind of an over sharer in some ways - maybe annoying BUT Sexual HARRASMENT is a pattern of behavior repeated. Her complaint says she listed x number of issues- he agreed to fix and did because she completed the shoot - unless she has more evidence - which she hasn’t shown yet. So where and what are her damages? Emotional distress?? Come on. I was a paralegal working in corporate employment law and I’ve NEVER seen emotional distress claimed as a stand alone unless it was tacked on to a physical or sexual assault- Her lawsuit ( the one most recently filed) doesn’t even allege a hostile work place . I’m really getting the feeling that Justin’s lawsuit is much more specific and factual. Someone is lying here - their stories are too far apart - and right now, to me it looks like her.
Interesting…I just don’t know on this one. Maybe she finished shoot because many others were employed in film and they would loose their job if she didn’t continue. I’m like you someone is clearly lying. It will be interesting to hear what other staff on the film say.
@@ammmmur6511 I wrote this on some other UA-cam videos too- that I see Justin as a very free flowing, flow with your acting, flow with your emotions, with a little new agey thrown in. The kind of guy that would improvise scenes and share his info like an open book and prefer for a natural home birth where women are naked and he can be the supportive hippie dad lol. And Blake is a finicky normal nepo baby from ny . I just see a lot of clash of personality and her misreading a lot of his moves as creepy when it’s probably just him being a free flowing kind of guy . Totally the wrong match. Opposites don’t always attract.
She hasn’t actually filed a lawsuit yet, we aren’t seeing everything. Her damages are the pretty clear attacks on her character that are affecting her public image and career prospects, which look worse and worse when you look at the law suit the PR company’s owner filed against the ones representing JB
@@jcs137yeah I heard that one and it makes sense. To get things going as everyone is relying on the movie to finish. Then I’ve heard the opposite with the same logic and that Justin signed just to move things along. And even also Justin lawsuit claim he didn’t know of or sign any doc. Which is why this needs to go to court.
Budgets on films are locked down. Even big directors like Steven Spielberg know this. James Cameron was hamstrung on "The Abyss" despite his track record from "The Terminator, and Aliens." The producers of "The Abyss" of which Cameron was one, told him he had to cut some scenes that were due to be filmed. Cameron stated categorically they were not going to be cut because they were integral to the film. He didn't have have final cut on that film again despite his having brought them "The Terminator and Aliens." So no, budgets are not allowed to be conflated by diva behaviour. Lively wanted more than she should have been allowed to get away with. And she is not an A-Lister. She is no Julia Roberts or a Natalie Portman. Lively has no awards to her name, just Ruan Reynolds. I now have a very low opinion of both after all this.
Yeah, seems the behavior comes mostly from associating with A-listers rather than being one herself. If someone never watched Gossip Girl, they wouldn't even know her. I only know her from the name being repeatedly mentioned in tabloids and her marriage to RR. She was a paltry presence in film, really.
As a canadian, the only reason I give Reynolds a pass is his canadianness. not his acting. he's more focused on marketing to make more billions off his celebrity.
"Ms Heard" buried herself after the recording she presented by the way, she was done after the "I didn't hit you I punched you, your such a big baby Johnny" I could name so much lol not to mention her cheating with James Franco of all people good lord
No matter how BIG of a start you are (which Lively is not!) you must be professional and not become a diva. I feel like this attorney keeps emphasizing she’s a big start and that’s how they behave so it’s normal. I disagree!
It’s true she isn’t a big star so why were there so many negative media articles about her last year? Most of us had never heard of her and didn’t/don’t care about her personality. She wasn’t putting those negative articles out, the media was, especially Daily Mail.
I rarely comment although I absolutely love you and your channel. I turn on UA-cam every day to check if you have a video. I’m Canadian so the laws aren’t the same but similar, you’ve taught me so much, including not to jump to conclusions!!😅
I do this too! Everyday I check his channel to see if there’s a new video and when there’s not I’m disappointed cause I have to try to find something else the watch lol for some reason his voice is soothing
Absolutely hilarious when you said "Grab your friends, grab your florals" lmao it's like you have NO idea how big of an issue that was when she said it. Too funny.
@amna6024 I know that. That's why I made the comment genius. It was funny. I hope you have a better day. It's a super sad life when you try and insult people on the internet, you don't know, and don't understand.
Agreed with the exception that Lively was contractually obligated by Disney to promote the "lighter and more positive" aspects of the overcoming of DV - in other words to spin the film promo so whether or not that felt comfortable or appropriate to Lively herself - SHE was following her contractual obligations to Disney during the promotional tour. And have you asked yourself why you feel so angry about how Lively promoted the films - given there are texts of an active propaganda campaign to smear lively during that promotional tour? Are there biases from seeds planted during that campaign????
The audacity. She didn't want the DV victim focus in the film and then used the SA victim narrative to destroy someone's life. BL is a horrible person, but I don't think she has the intelligence to plot this alone. Possibly this was planned with advice since she wanted to take control of the film.
As a breastfeeding mom (x5) I cannot tell you how much I appreciated when I attended a Bible study and the men in the group would talk to me while I was nursing. They always made appropriate eye contact but it was surprising to me how much I valued being able to be an active part of the conversation and acknowledged while feeding my kid. They just acted like nothing was happening, and it meant so much to me. Moms end up excluded a lot when they have babies.
They get excluded because men are afraid they’ll get accused of sexual harassment coming near them. We can’t have our cake and eat it too. Breast feeding is either a private matter or it’s not.
totally. and when i was constantly nursing i even gave up on modesty and whipped out whenever/wherever to feed and comfort my kid (as is done in many other countries). i never understood hearing others post or say they had been admonished by strangers for doing something totally natural.
@Gigi-Anai8c7l for sure. I was replying I guess to Peter’s commentary on avoiding breastfeeding women, not the way in which it appears Lively switched positions. I was not clear.
@VirginiaGeorge I nursed my 2 babies, and I never put others in a position to look at me or not. I went to another room/my car for 10 minutes. 10 minutes tops will make a whole room of people comfortable and not wonder "what should I do?!" Trust me: you are not important. You actually look like a total narcissist when you breastfeed in public.
I'm witholding judgement on who's right and who's wrong so far but maaaan... If I were him, I wouldn't have done a single thing alone with her after the first time she expressed discomfort.
Journalism is an awful joke these days. I don’t believe anything I read anymore. They never do the work to see both sides. They only care about posting what’s going to get them views or whoever pays them to post something. It’s really saddening and frustrating.
She should have hired a stylist…those outfits during the press tour were terrible. I mean the film was about DV and her outfits said it was a sweet film about a florist.
I did like BL, but I side with Baldoni on this. I have been waiting for the rest of the texts to come out. I felt she picked only the ones she wanted to put in the lawsuit.....
I agree, this seems likely, but it doesn't make sense that she's done this. Did she really think ALL the texts, providing relevant context, wouldn't be produced, and this would seem manipulative and dishonest on her part? I don't get this strategy, it seems really narrow minded and frankly stupid.
I believe everything he stated. She twisted everything that was innocent, took it out of context and made him seem like the creepy guy. This is despicable on her part!
Well he would have to prove it. This is a trial and he needs to produce exhibits it’s not enough his words. Besides this is against the New York Times.
It’s not like she pioneered that strategy, it’s been worked and perfected over decades by armies of liars and lawyers. That’s why they always use the same words and language, it’s all a playbook at this point.
Thank you for explaining this. I filed a complaint with my congressman. I live in a federal building and was being harassed and bullied and they took it on and a federal complaint was filed against my building and they listened. You are absolutely right.
I find it IRONIC the premise of the film is that it’s supportive of female DV victims and yet all the attention seems to be focused on the alleged warfare in production. MORE IMPORTANTLY, REAL DV victims say the hospital scene where BL’s character announces she will divorce her abusive husband on behalf of their infant daughter is DANGEROUS as well as absurd. Announcing her departure and gaining complete agreement from the abuser is contrary to the known facts of the DV cycle. The MOST dangerous time for the victim is when they separate from the abuser. It is demonstrably better for the victim to seek DV advocate advice & support to make a SECRET exit plan. It is literally often FATAL to do otherwise! So much for the positive benefit of this film! 🤯 This is not only my educated opinion but it is what I have read in dozens and dozens of comments by real female DV victims responding to the hospital scene mentioned above. The danger of announcing the end of a DV relationship is also true for male victims who comprise a significant person of abused individuals.
@@Grammichal I read the book not knowing what it was about - and it definitely takes a smoother version of DV … honestly the brutality was more apparent in the film … now also important to not put all DV perpetrators in one box. This character had a PTSD event that he didn’t get help for - incredibly intelligent- and a sibling who recognized his danger to those he was close to and afraid of losing. The entire situation was not close to 95 % of DV to be generous - hence why there are UA-camrs dedicated to take Colleen Hoover to task. I fell somewhere in between - the book Rile continues to have a relationship w his daughter after therapy / supervised visits etc. This is a fast moving fantasy book more in lines with Harlequin books .. not great literature
Wasn’t that before it was officially announced? And I believe she apologized. I’m not a lively fan or anything. But just trying to be fair. She seems entitled and out of touch, much like the majority of Hollywood. People say stupid things all the time though. I think it’s just important to acknowledge it and apologize but you should be able to move on from it. Thing is, even if she’s out of touch or rude, it doesn’t mean she deserves what she alleges baldoni did.
Stop spreading lies! She made a joke when the whole world was talking about Princess Catherine and when it came out that the princess has cancer Blake immediately apologized!
@joss_411 She did not apologize directly to Princess Catherine though. If you Google what she said, she did not address it to Princess Catherine. And it's true that Blake did this mocking post before the Princess announced she had cancer, but everyone already knew she had stomach surgery and was still recovering from an undisclosed medical issue. So, Blake's post was still insensitive even though we didn't know this undisclosed medical issue was actually cancer until after Blake mocked her. If someone has had major surgery and has been taking time to heal for an undisclosed medical issue for months, is mocking them a nice thing to do?
I think Blake was too old for the role. She wasn’t how many envisioned this character. I can’t say I’m a Blake fan, not a Justin fan either. Blake seems very entitled and like a mean, bully though. My niece said she met her when working at a high-end clothing store in NYC and she was not nice at all to “regular people.”
Sony would’ve pulled out if he didn’t agree. BL came with Sony deal they choose her. BL would go to Sony if things didn’t go her way and Sony would pressure JB. JB should’ve picked another distribution deal company Sony wasn’t needed.
As always, thanks for breaking this down with a live video! But I think I'm out of this debacle, unless it comes to an actual courtroom with judge and jury. Just seems like too much he said/she said celebrity gossip at this point. I've wasted enough energy on it already. More important things out in the world in which to concern myself. 🙂
This is going to be another divisive case Peter. So glad to hear you explain that a complaint is just their story. I see ppl on X saying that she brought forth lots of evidence but only quote excerpts from the complaint. I get called a woman hater (i am a woman 🤦🏽♀️) among other things for saying i want to wait to hear his response.
Same … people lack nuance, who knows where the truth lies but his “proof” seems more likely to me tho there are things missing … hard to believe HE intimidated her
@@sleepyjavanlangur I don’t think you can cover this case without looking at the Jones vs Baldoni first? Seems like a lot of PR f#kery behind the scenes that both Lively & Baldoni knew nothing about 🤷♀️
The whole cast of the movie (and the author of the book) come out in support of her, attesting to the truth of her words. Nobody come in support of him.
@ it just so happens that both women were discredited for being “mean” by the same PR firm. You know the one who was required to burry her. Anything to not believe a woman. Who cares if Deep had a history of violence and out of control alcoholism and drug use., AH was not the ideal victim.
Team Justin. Blake was exposed and didn't like the backlash. Whoever told her this new PR campaign will help her image was so wrong. She is looking worse.
As a chronincally online girlie who kept up with this movie's drama, her bad press was 100% organic. People have been discussing Blake and Ryan's plantation wedding for years and have been looking for any other proof of their bad nature. Most of the discussion came from TikTok videos from big and small creators and it was very easy to keep up with updates and speculation.
Yes! I was online daily on TikTok at that time and watched it all unfold. It was all on Blake. She did it to herself. She should have kept the filming issues out of the media and got some media training herself so she could present herself better during interviews.
@@gabuko_web_studio I agree Anne was so smart for that. BL thought acknowledging her was beneath her so she didn't. No word inncomplaint about the interview this should be interesting.
@@gabuko_web_studio oh absolutely! I wonder if they were planning to do media training on DV before she went rogue. There’s no way they didn’t expect some interviewers to ask questions about DV… it’s not like millions of people didn’t already read the book lol.
Baldoni and the other plaintiffs HAVE a case against NYT because the "contract" was NYT gave them all a specific deadline date to respond but NYT didn't honor their side of the contract by releasing the article early. Also, NYT didn't do their due diligence to collect ALL the facts and present it to the public so the public could make an informed decision. Blake & company decided to make this public months after the premiere. The public had moved on from their awkward premiere when the movie first came out. Blake's complaint didn't have to go public. I know it's a different situation but Cassie Ventura tried to settle matters with Diddy away from the public when he said he wouldn't compensate her for what he did to her, she went public. Blake went straight to being public with her complaint. If they couldn't resolve it, then she files a public lawsuit, not a private complaint. Yes, this looks bad for both actors, but it looks worse for Blake.
i have wondered for a while if Blake and Ryan's marriage is a contractual relationship, not an out of love relationship she surely seems impossible and Reynolds insufferable maybe he wanted kids from a beautiful woman (Blake is physically beautiful) and she wanted to have someone to call "muh husbant"
He must be like her to be attracted to her narcissistic personality. He berated and screamed at Justin at a meeting. Even a Sony rep said it was out-of-line and she regrets she didn’t stop Ryan.
She's a piece of work. He didn't plant her flippant responses in press interviews that's her true nature. Her suit is in response to public backlash and her trying to play the victim. Gross behavior and misuse of the justice system if you ask me.
I would argue that Blake Lively is NOT a huge star. She thinks she is, but really doesn't have the film chops that she thinks she has. Also, she is not a very nice person
This case is pretty wild for a fairly cruddy movie, especially. lol I bet Justin wishes he’d gone with a more unknown lead actress. I don’t know who’s right - three sides to every story - but it’s funny how the public has gone from “Team Justin”, to “Team Blake” to idk who’s right 🤷♀️😅
I mean, he chose to adapt the book of an author who has received some major flack for her continued romanticization of abuse and anti-abortion narrative. If he didn't want drama, he should have stayed far away from Colleen Hoover, no matter how popular her terribly-written books are. I still feel sorry for him, though.
Sony wanted BL for the role so in order to get deal he had to pick her. The fact Sony could choose an actress for a role is crazy!!! I think it has to do with RR.
She comes across as the ultimate “Karen”(apologies to real Karens). Unfortunately if her claims are not true she needs to be held accountable because false claims hurt real victims.
I'm still where I was after hearing BL's nonsense. She is so manipulative and conniving and she thought JB would fold and just let her say and have her way but he didn't and now we are here. She's done this same song and dance for years and got away with it so many times because who wants to blow up their career messing around with her in court? This time someone decided to stop her and she is pissed hence the lawsuit. I'm on JB's side and even though the movie has done well nobody is going to remember the damn thing but instead this monstrosity.
“Complaint” and did you not at all listen to it? He had a team out to gutter her career to get ahead of mistreatment on set. What are you even listening to?
@@MadelineMclean-s3l did you read the full text message convo threads instead of the piece meal she provided? Cuz that’s not at all what actually happened according to the newly provided FULL texts
The first time I heard anything about BL was when she ran her mouth about Princess Catherine. Classless act! This is the second time I’ve heard of BL. I believe Justin.
She has a long history of bad behavior and on set temper tantrums back from the beginning (which is suspected, she only got the job because of nepotism and the fact that she comes from a wealthy Hollywood insider family) like time when she was on a new season of Gossip Girl her costar Leighton Meester was given a much higher fashion budget than BL. BL had tantrum & if u watch interviews of her & cast she showed a lot of questionable bullying behavior & tried laughing it off as joke. Personally for me also notable is most of her classmates. Don’t actually follow her on social media after whatever the project is done. Baldoni on the other hand does not have the same history of bad behavior on set and did not have the power that would make Hollywood protect him that she herself is granted because of her marriage to Ryan Reynolds (which legit makes me question how he is portrayed as well… it’s really not a good look). Personally, it’s gonna be really interesting to see the rug pulled back and get a look at the rather gross Hollywood PR machine and how they use manipulation to get their preferred narrative across. I actually don’t think she expected him to push back because they have the power in this equation and could make it so Baldoni and capable of working in Hollywood again. I wonder if she actually sees the irony of doing exactly what she accuse Baldoni side (and which so far the receipts seem to show that he actually didn’t use any of the plans being made because it was a organic uprising of people finally realizing how toxic her behavior is and how tone deaf. Ultimately what she wanted was to have her own Barbie/Oppenheimer moment between her and her husband’s movies that didn’t happen and because she’s a narcissist she had to get back at the person she blamed and because Baldoni wounded her ego when he asked his trainer about her weight she has to get back at him but looking at what the New York Times excluded, text that were altered, and the fact of the timing of when they notified him about the story and the fact that they went to press early really is not a good look for her side, especially if the New York Times really did have all of the texts that they claim to. Honestly, it’s no wonder people don’t trust the media anymore because they treat us like we are dumber than a box of rocks and keep repeating the same moves over and over again… they ultimately are crying wolf so many times, screaming that the sky is falling that people are just tuning them out or doing their own due diligence and looking for both sides (thankfully) before making their own decisions (because the media has outright said that their job is to tell America how and what to think and just repeating the facts and allowing us to make up our own mind is “dangerous”). Sorry this got tad long.
I think these companies should get in trouble for prematurely terminating someone before they have even been found guilty of anything! This is getting ridiculous and anyone that is caught lying about stuff like this should face jail time.
I wholeheartedly agree.

He’s not a great actor. He’s not even a mediocre actor. I saw his last movie but never again, and that was before all of this. It was that awful. He even made Hugh Jackman look bad.

It's certainly a different perspective from someone inside the industry vs an outsider looking in. I hope more people read your comment.

Well said!

He obviously was just kidding and colleagues do this to me , like make sexual jokes, but I just don't make a fuss about it but she could win that aspect of her case. He was unprofessional, if what she is saying is true.
What baffles me is that this movie wasn't even all that good for all this drama.
Haha so true! It was pretty cheesy overall
Haha and it was Blake’s producers cut that made the final, not Justin’s.
Blake ruined the movie.
I thought it was good..

It's very different to ask a trainer for a person's weight so they can lift the appropriate amount of weight during training, then randomly asking a coworker on set how much they weigh. Also, the fact that the trainer went and told Lively about it seems odd. Would like to hear what the trainer has to say.
I’ve heard that too! Is she takes offense to that then that’s on her!
Insurance requires that I would think!
Blake is the only person worried about her weight. She so sensitive about it because she has the body of someone who gave birth 3 times
These was no scene where he lifts her apparently. 🤷🏻♀️
Good point and I think so far that would be the lawsuit that wins of all 3.

Yeah it's putting me off Ryan Reynolds now
This is not a fair fight to start. Ryan Reynolds’s and his wife can throw money for years at this and for PR to spin this to their liking. Will we even hear true details or will they be sealed? She was completely taken aback by the question and LIED, like it never happened, until the interviewer clarified she literally saw a backstage footage of Blake doing exactly that.
They had an intimacy coordinator but she still gave her input and instructions directly to Justin.

Her whole accusation is to rehabilitate her public image but it seems she might have dug a deeper hole for herself and her husband
I don’t understand why her husband was involved with this movie!! I think they were peeved that Justin refused to sell the rights to Reynolds
I agree x
The husband is involved because he’s arrogant, and the less famous wife wants to employ his clout. Plus she’s not all that smart - so she can’t do it alone.
Yeah this is the part I don’t understand… like why was he in meetings? He’s not part of the film, if Blake has issues she should bring a lawyer not her husband?
@@FloatingInSpace5702because Sony produced his Deadpool films. He definitely did shady stuff.
It can be true for Baldoni as we don't know the truth about what happened.
Once a guy has crossed "the creeper" "the predator" "the inappropriate" boundary.....the rules change. A friend can say and do something and it be fine but a person you are uncomfortable with cannot do those things. There is no trust. So it depends when this happened before or after she said 'This needs to stop'....

She sounds like an absolute nightmare to work with.
They’ll all eventually be replaced by AI thankfully. Learn 2 code lol.
@@jakestroll6518
Because she wasn't uncomfortable with the breastfeeding.
Yep...same as Amber Heard
I honestly didn't even know who she was until a few weeks ago 😕
True… the only thing that makes her a “big star” in Hollywood is also her status in the fashion scene, her idea as a socialite and being one of Taylor Swift’s best friend.
If these people are so good at acting why not act more professionally? Good manners are free but worth their weight in gold
Team Baldoni complains that NYT made it sound like:
(a) there was a document that include terms like “no more (insert behavior)” (b)he signed it.

@@jakestroll6518 she is a creep and a bully
What I find even more interesting in showing Blake is a liar is that she said in an interview that she was the intimacy coach.
In another interview I saw Blake said having an intimacy couch was ridiculous. Putting the job down and dismissing the question as being ridiculous.
The weight question is legitimate.

He didn't choose her. Sony did
Sony brought her in. Poor Justin!
That is a ridiculous thing to say.
So yeah there is no harm when Justin hired a crisis expert...he didn't want to end up like another Depp or Albie....how is this a crime.
Women can be horrible sometimes! Poor guy!
That's not going to happen here. Everyone knows what a mean bully BL and RR are. They should both be cancelled I plan to watch everything and anything JB is in from now on. Except this nightmare. How could anything they do on screen be believable. So gross. He must have been so grossed out doing anything with her.
Karma will eventually get her. He just needs to wait and watch.
We have to stop with the Blake being a huge star. This is her FIRST box office hit in her career.
Its a hit ??
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was a HUGE hit back in the day, and she was MAJORLY successful in Gossip Girl. I'm not a fan of Lively (not her target demographic) and I'm leaning towards Baldoni in this case, but to say she's not a major star is a huge misrepresentation of her popularity. There's no need to distort the truth in order to buttress your dislike of her claims; she can be popular and still be wrong.
She def is popular but only from the show and the younger generation often poke fun at gossip girl it didn’t age well. Many things don’t

Film earned $350mil, and JD and SONY invested $25mil. BL and RR are looking at how to take part of JD income. Follow the money.
I hope Justin wins this
The only channel that has explained the lawsuit legally and factually❤
Thank you Peter for taking time from your vacation - love the detailed breakdown !
Breast feeding is either a private matter or it’s not.
yeah but you are not Blake and twist facts and sue them
totally. and when i was constantly nursing i even gave up on modesty and whipped out whenever/wherever to feed and comfort my kid (as is done in many other countries). i never understood hearing others post or say they had been admonished by strangers for doing something totally natural.
It could be that she is just a glamorous Karen at the end of the day!
Journalism is an awful joke these days. I don’t believe anything I read anymore. They never do the work to see both sides. They only care about posting what’s going to get them views or whoever pays them to post something. It’s really saddening and frustrating.
Spot on
You are correct. It’s actually scary and a sign of the downfall of democracy.
NyT is as bad a Fox and as bad as msnbc. It’s truly frightening.
She should have hired a stylist…those outfits during the press tour were terrible. I mean the film was about DV and her outfits said it was a sweet film about a florist.
gRaB uR fRiNdS uEr uR fLoRuLz
All her doing and she's blaming Justin for her bad reputation
They did have a stylist and Blake said she’ll style it herself and used her clothes and her friends.
Thank you for covering this! Love your perspective…keeping it real! ❤
I believe everything he stated. She twisted everything that was innocent, took it out of context and made him seem like the creepy guy. This is despicable on her part!
That’s his defense. You have not heard the full story yet.
Amber Heard 2.0
Which is why I will not be supporting her work going forward.
Blake is a self centered bully!
This is not only my educated opinion but it is what I have read in dozens and dozens of comments by real female DV victims responding to the hospital scene mentioned above. The danger of announcing the end of a DV relationship is also true for male victims who comprise a significant person of abused individuals.
1000% agree & the critical piece of escape is secrecy 😢
@@KristenGeorge OK…. But my lengthy comment stands. Thank you for writing.
Greetings from Croatia ❤
For the writers guild that is a big deal if Ryan changed the script without anyone’s knowledge besides BL.
Especially if they were on strike at that time...
Blake has never been told no all her life apparently, hence this drama occurred
Really great and thorough coverage !!! Thank you 🙌
Blake Lively felt bold enough to troll Princess Catherine during her shock cancer diagnosis!!!!!
omg gross
Yeah. I remember that. She owes Princess Catherine an apology.
I can't believe she's only 36. I thought she was at least 45. It looks like she is old enough to be his mother. Totally unbelievable.
@@generousbitcoinbillionaireShe's 37. He's 40.
Sony wanted her for the role and JB had to pick her to get the Sony distribution deal.
If he didn’t agree to the stuff she was demanding it would have made him look guilty as well. He was damned either way.
Sony would’ve pulled out if he didn’t agree. BL came with Sony deal they choose her. BL would go to Sony if things didn’t go her way and Sony would pressure JB. JB should’ve picked another distribution deal company Sony wasn’t needed.
Amazing reporting ❤
She raises my Amber Heard red flag
As always, thanks for breaking this down with a live video! But I think I'm out of this debacle, unless it comes to an actual courtroom with judge and jury. Just seems like too much he said/she said celebrity gossip at this point. I've wasted enough energy on it already. More important things out in the world in which to concern myself. 🙂
That’s about where I am at too. I didn’t even know who Blake Lively was. Lol
I’m right there with you - it feels a lot like the treatment I received when I questioned Amber Heard’s narratives.
Peter thank you so much for breaking this down for us! Your dad is the best, loved him popping in to say hi. Hope you have a great vacation.
Yep that reporter interviewing her was her downfall. It got millions of views and everyone started to talk about her a ton after that.
@@lo_2710 If she had just immediately apologised like Anne Hathaway then it wouldn't have blown up as much as it did.
Kinda like when you alert TMZ to your courthouse trip so you can show them your "bruise."
I can't wait for the what is a typical day for crisis publicist. We are being so grossly manipulated as a public by this industry of egos.
All Baldoni had to do was not retaliate
Gosh, imagine being married to her. Seems like he had to walk on eggshells to appease her. I’m not buying her story.
i have wondered for a while if Blake and Ryan's marriage is a contractual relationship, not an out of love relationship
she surely seems impossible and Reynolds insufferable
maybe he wanted kids from a beautiful woman (Blake is physically beautiful) and she wanted to have someone to call "muh husbant"
They are mutual narcissists in their relationship- each empty and shallow. Poor kids. She’s made by plastic surgery - nose, boobs, lips.
If she is an A-lister, she's still a horrible person.
Absolutely he does, she's trying to destroy him.
Sony wanted BL for the role so in order to get deal he had to pick her. The fact Sony could choose an actress for a role is crazy!!! I think it has to do with RR.
It is all starting to scream narcis….no I won’t say it 🙊
Lol
A Nepo baby that’s narcissistic?!
He's saying there wasnt 30 points in the document there was 17, the words no more were also not used in the document
She comes across as the ultimate “Karen”(apologies to real Karens). Unfortunately if her claims are not true she needs to be held accountable because false claims hurt real victims.
I think the only way the world can see the truth is it goes the AH/JD route. Testify in court, with live coverage.
I was WAITING for this!!!
Safe New Year to all from South Texas.
Happy and safe new year to you as well, from Toronto
Love your commentary on this crazy case. Happy New Year to you and your family 😊❤
Oooo intrigue…who else has she tried this with?
@@laurenbond3907I’d like to know too! Lol
Tell us, when did this happen before?
Hilariously a Mint Mobil ad with Ryan Reynolds just came on in the middle of this video.
