I’m glad she found THE dress. My Mom wouldn’t let me get my THE dress. So I just got a dress. A cheap one. But looking back and back, my dress was beautiful. And I looked beautiful. And it still looks beautiful. But no one wants to wear it . They’re all too big except for one granddaughter . We shall see. I can always donate it.
@@kathywiebusch3687 or just keep passing it down. I had a dress....it was gorgeous and about 2 months before the wedding he broke up with me. I had another dress that I got married in that was gorgeous as well. My first marriage was at the courthouse in a blue semi-formal. I don't think I'm going to do it a third time. If I did I'd want Gok to help.
@@vixxenreigns my mums dress was made from her sisters dress it was a mini in 1969 I was actually a bridesmaid at almost 2 🤷♀️😡❤️ In turquoise same as aunt ( had 3 colour dress changes ) I could not wear my mums dress now nor could my daughter as mum is 5ft 3in ! I’m 5ft 11 and daughter 6ft !it would be a t shirt on us 😂😂
I absolutely agree. Essence of Australia’s dresses are so elegant and beautiful.
@@annedalton289 if the fabric is still sturdy and you had the money or abilities (and she let you) you could use some of the fabric of your mothers dress to make a wedding dress, or if it fits other then that add a over skirt thing.
I liked the 2nd dress better on her, but glad she finally (hopefully for the last time) said yes to a dress she loved.

Gok is the best of consultants/bridal dress advisor from amongst all of the say yes to the dress locations!! There should be more style/body confidence and positivity shows with Gok.

I LOVE the Essence of Australia dresses. They're classy and elegant. And while I know that Pnina is a Kleinfeld's exclusive, it's nice to see her trashy overpriced dresses not being pushed. To me, these dresses by Essence of Australia are far prettier than ANY Pnina Tornai I've seen.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'm glad both designers with their independent styles exist. I wore a calla white for my wedding and it was the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen

Gok in stitches...had me in stitches!!! I'm so glad that he helped her find her perfect dress (fingers crossed). My personal favourite was the second last dress. However, she looked lovely in the dress that she chose, the silhouette suited her perfectly.
Honestly I feel like almost all the brides are able to find a dress they love here because Gok creates such a safe and confidence boosting space for them. Love ❣️
The girl already loved the second dress, other shops (David Emmanuel specially) would force her to buy it. Gok, on the other hand, tries to top himself to reach perfection, whilest within the budget.
Idk, they need them to try on a few dresses for the show. I think every episode I’ve seen they always put the brides in at least 3 dresses. If they really like the 1st or 2nd dress then they will get them to try on other dresses to make sure that it is really the one.
The 3rd dress was definitely HER dress! Yes, she looked phenomenal in the 2nd one as well, and I think it would have been a lovely choice too, but there is something special and delicate and she just looked so pretty in the dress she chose.

I love that with Gok when the bride finds a dress they love he tries to top it. You never see that happen with David Emmanuel.

You gotta have something special going on for the casting director to pick you for the show. She probably got picked because she had tried on so many wedding dresses. If she had applied from the beginning she sadly probably wouldn’t of gotten on and may of never found her dress. Also, she probably had no idea she would have to try on so many dresses so she didn’t know she would need to come onto the show.
I think she looked beautiful in all of the dresses, she just wasn’t happy about dress 1. Gok is amazing he makes everyone feel beautiful.

She looked beautiful in all the dresses! I honestly thought I liked dress two better, but I just rewatched, screenshotted the wide shots to compare them and changed my mind. The third one was definitely her best option there. The extra room in the bust, so she was more comfortable, the lace detailing around the hem and extra lace flowing down the skirt, the straps being a little wider where they join the bust gave a better balance to the look. It was probably one size larger than the second dress and was more comfortable plus allowed some leeway for any small alterations that could be made in the short time frame. Given her wedding day was so close she would have been limited to something they could pull off the rack from the store, so she would have only had the choice of the dresses in the sizes presented to her. I think she got a very beautiful dress in the end, (love essence of Australia dresses!) and I hope she had a wonderful wedding day! Loved this episode!

@@dietotaku I see where you're coming from, neither dress was giving her bust ideal room, but, at least to me, the third looked just a little more spacious.

That dress is gorgeous, and she's gorgeous wearing it. Confidence can be hard to remember but it is importan, especially when you are wearing your gown or your outfit and not letting it wear you or have anything get you down. So very happy for her ❤️

This AMAZING man who manages to have that intuitive artistic instincts that allow HIM to place himself in another's shoes. . The second dress , yes , more than suitable , however HE knew she needed that Looking Bodice that fits in a way that is slimming yet comfortable & , for me the lightly offset decoration's on the skirt not only enhances but draw ones eyes in a way that makes the Bride part of it , neither overwhelming the other in A Portrait . thank you Gok for another example of Service with a Smile that a certain Lady & Gentleman could not manage yesterday UNTIL they saw those crowds from Their Balcony BUT they too spread pleasure by having ALL the pages next to the , he may not be as at ease as your persona but you BOTH possess that inclusivity that is essentially British ....an Open Heart & an Open Door ....

She didn't say that she didn't want to be married. It is the wedding she is not excited about. She may be self conscious of everyone looking at her as she walks down the isle due to her weight gain.

When she finally, tearfully, confronted him, it turned out he was just petrified at the thought of a bunch of people staring at them. They had an intimate outdoor wedding with about 8 people attending, then had a larger (about 60) reception following.

I know! Personally I find the other SYTTD boutiques’ dresses seem kinda out dated. They don’t look like they have changed since 2000. A lot of the dresses I’m not a big fan of. But Lancashire has such nice dresses! They’re all so pretty. The whole store is my style.

I love how he clicks with the bride's in every show and reads the room. It's sweet how he grabs every bride's hand, thats a nice touch. Slightly terrified one day a bride may not make those stairs, so that could be looked at for new shows.
