How to build a Serpentine Collector

This video is designed to give you the basic idea of what's involved in making a Serpentine Collector. To make this collector you'll need to make a 60 foot long copper flow tube and two 8 foot long aluminum absorber plates. The rest just involves some basic carpentry skills.

Thank you for your interest in the serpentine collector. Something even better is the MTD collector. It does not require flow tubes or antifreeze or absorber plates,

John, Found your channel and first off big thanks for sharing your experiences on so many projects. After watching the serpentine collector vid and then the winter sun shed, my question is in the sun shed vid. you showed outside at 15 degrees and in the collector at 81 degrees (65 degree differential) is this variable a constant up and down the temp. gradient or discounting time of year/angle of sun does the temp difference vary? Does the difference remain if the outside temp is 100?
