- Hello! I'm testing out a few overdrive and distortion pedals, running through the preamp and cabinet simulator Mooer 006 US Classic Deluxe - Fender Blues Deluxe guitar amp. I experimented with a blues tone with Metal Zone, a crunch tone, a lead tone, and even did some metal riffs using some low gain pedals with a clean Fender amp simulator haha I hope you enjoy the experiments!

Metal Zone sounds GREAT!! Lol. You must have the eq dialed in with some lows. It doesn't sound like a can of bees. Nice demo!
Thanks bro! The preamp/cab simulation of the 006 really comes in handy in this process. If we turn off the 006, the bee goes all out, haha.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar I watch a lot of gear demos. You did great by swapping quickly from one pedal to another for comparison. Some guys play for so long on one tone you forget what the last tone sounded.
I have the Mooer Radar cab and power amp sim. I'm bedroom recording with all hardware on a Tascam DP-24. If I was doing the DAW thing, I'd be tweaking and staring at the screen and never record a thing!! Hahahaa
Fantastic, thanks so much for uploading this. I'm being forced to move to a new place (owners sold the place I'm currently renting) and have to sell many of my amps. It's much smaller and neighbours are closer.
This video reminded me that I can still sound good without my amps. I love the 006, 002, and 017 with my fave IRs.
Hello Matt! Thanks! I agree, I find the Mooer micropreamps to be very good, and they become even better with good IRs. I always use them in conjunction with the Joyo Cab Box, and almost this video was done that way. However, I changed my mind at the last moment because I preferred to capture the sound of the pedal's own cab simulator, which I also think is excellent.

I actually meant the 018, not the 017. I have two 002s and one 006, one 018. Two stereo or wet/dry ampless rigs!
Essa linha da Mooer é bacana! Tenho o 005 Brown Sound 3 e empurro com um mxr custom badass 78. São muito versáteis. Não me arrependo de ter comprado.

Pra mim, a disputa ainda está grande entre o FD2 e o BD2 pra decidir quem vai ser o titular definitivo no set nessa linha "transparent OD" :) Mas confesso que estou pendendo para o FD2 haha apesar de achar o BD2 maravilhoso e já usá-lo há anos. Dá sim cara :) Dos que tive desde o lançamento desses micropreamps esse é o que mais gosto pois o canal clean é muito bom na minha opinião tanto pra SSS quanto pra HH, aceita muito bem quase todos os tipos de pedais overdrive. distortion, fuzz. Além disso o canal sujo dele também é bom, timbra bem blues, crunch... A simulação de gabinete dele soa muito próximo de alguns bons IRs que tenho aqui, já fiz vários testes e já usei ao vivo várias vezes assim como está no vídeo e foi muito bom.

De tanto ver ser vídeos acabei comprando o Mooer pré ampli live hahaha 🤣. Você pode fazer um vídeo igual esse mas usando o Mooer 002 que simulação de Marshall ? Eu liguei meu pré ampli live no ampli valvulado mas não tive o resultado esperado em compensação com o Marshall jackhammer funcionou muito bem . Qual sua dica ? Compro o Marshall guvnour e bluesdriver também ou tento mexer mais com o Mooer pre ampli live ? Abração
Rapaz, acredito que a grana que gastei pra comprar todos esses micropreamps que já tive e os que ainda tenho daria pra comprar pelo menos uns dois desse Preamp Live haha Porque todos que tive, comprei zero com lojista no ML então já sabe como foram os preços né? Fico me perguntando porque não fui direto nele logo desde o início haha deve ser muito bom. Eu não tenho mais o 002 senão faria. Eu acho que esses equipamentos são feitos pra usar em linha, é aqui que está 100% das suas capacidades. Nada impede que usemos de outra forma como vc tentou usar no amp valvulado mas a minha "matemática" é o seguinte: Se vc tem um amp valvulado real e está em uso podendo carregar ele pra ensaios e shows, tenta arrancar som só da guitarra + amp (usa alguns pedais se necessário) e deixa as simulações de amp de lado pra no caso de uma emergência. A não ser que você queira usar só a simulação de preamp do pedal conectado pelo return do amp, anulando o preamp original do amp. Bom, de qualquer forma eu prefiro usar as minhas simulações de amp mesmo desde a época do lançamento do SansAmp GT2 pois já chego com meu som pronto pra qualquer tipo de trabalho seja em gravações ou ao vivo. :)

How do you keep it from making noise?
Hi, the energy levels provided by the electrical grid in the studio are good. The floor is rubberized, so I don't have direct contact with the ground. I stay at a distance from both the video and audio monitors. The electrical components of my guitars are checked at least once a year, and I always use high-quality wires, switches, jacks and potentiometers. Additionally, all of them have shielding in the pickup cavities. I use excellent cables, and the Mooer Micro Power (power supply) has 8 isolated outputs, each with 300mA. Despite the other pedals consuming little power, the same doesn't apply to the Mooer micropreamps, as they require 300mA to function properly. I've learned and added all these precautions over time, so I don't have issues with noise even when using single pickups today. Thanks bro!
