    It really is incredible how much time and effort goes into developing a car, especially an all new platform. It also amazing how easily we consumers take it for granted.
    The designing, engineering, safety tests, regulations, etc, etc, it's almost a miracle a car gets built at all!

    To me, it’s rough, but the Holden has potential. I like the front fascia, the fender flairs, and even the roof. From the side, it looks a bit like a Porsche Carrera GT, albeit with a long “bed.” It’s cool to see how the Corvette developed.

I am still piss off they spent money on sill brands like Saturn, Hummer which GM is bringing back! N in 2006 who was making money on their cars/trucks which no other GM brands were doing? Yup, it was the first ever spy shot of the all-new 2020 Corvette. People thought it was going to be a Cadillac, too. The second batch of spy-shots were none other than heavily camouflaged actual C8 Corvettes and people also thought those were Cadillac sports cars. I just don't get how people are still fascinated with that brand.

  • @carloscontreras3633
    @carloscontreras3633 4 роки тому

    I have a confession. I saw the new C8 Corvette from a different light today. I usually have to grow into liking a car, but this time I grew out of liking a car, given that I liked it right off the bat. Sometimes down the line, maybe 3-5 years later I ask myself how I could have liked a car. Today, I did that with the Corvette. The Ferrari has a nice shape, the lambo has a nice shape. This car looks like someone designed the front and someone else designed the boxy back. The boxy back takes a lot away for the asthetic. Even though the sales will be great, because there are so many people excited about the redesign and all the power, lots of people will have the same negative feeling about the car. It looks like a 2000 concept Corvette, that already aged. I think it's the boxy back of the car that makes it look that way. Don't get me wrong, it's gonna sell like crazy. I was hoping this car would steal cars from Lamborghini and Ferrari, but now I feel it won't. All the C5-C7 owners are gonna be buying a lot of the C8s. Still a very awesome car.

The XLR was C5 Corvette based with a lower HP Northstar, but was still all Corvette underneath structurally. Cost more money, had less performance.

    I really like the C8, but it feels like something is missing. It's like a Chevy Lotus Espirit.

      I get the same feeling. I'll have to see it in person.

      Big Injun good god no I just had a conversation with someone about just that it’s just a pointless horrible vehicle however the Holden Ute was a great looker and sexy vehicle.

      @@brandonwright6578 that is entirely your opinion and completely not factual. I tow quite regularly a trailer on my 2014 Cruze diesel. Fuel economy incredible and its perfect for towing class 1. I have all of my tools packed in my car and its horrible. Now if they brought the elcamino back with today's suspension tech etc, it could tow class 3 and with a small 2.8 diesel it could get great fuel economy. Plus the bed could have a cover and I can reach all of my tools easily and createmy own custom storage as to keep the center open for things I need to throw in. It's the right tool for a lot of people. Just not you and that's ok. A dually with the dump trailer is meant to tow the tractor and chipper all in one shot and that's what its built for. Use the right tool for the job brother and dont be wasteful. I would get 3 times the fuel economy in a small vehicle. That could be a lot of money saved to buy more tools.

      @@brandonwright6578 why did you have the conversation with the other person on why you shouldn't? Same reason.
