Dad Billy lost his parents and sister in a plane crash in Texas. His family were very wealthy, it was his family's plane. Ami not Amy met and fell in love and moved to Alaska. Their children were far smarter than most families. They know how to survive in rough places. Matt got strung out on meth and he became addicted and chose to go where the dope was. He was mad at his parents and blamed them. They would not allow any drugs so he left. They named the youngest daughter Merry Christmas Katherine Raindrop Brown. She was born close to Christmas and Katherine was Billy's mother named Katherine. This family are tight and Christian all the way. I know a lot because I live in Alaska ❤

It's all a sham abd oayed in weed tells me they were most likely deadbeats hiding from something. Likely burned too many people and have no credit anymore. I get many suspicious thoughts about this entire deal. Fraudsters and bums. Kids probably went through hell growing up because of their parents choices. Now that the kids are grown up and parents are pretty nuch gone they all are probably just trying to enjoy a normal life rightfully so. I did it for a few years and have friends that do it. We were miles from a road. I still have the place but we just use for recreation. My wife and I are in our 70s so we built a place near town. We still grow our own food. I also put 30 salmon in the freezer and smoked and canned almost 30 pints this summer. i love it on salads.
I thought homeschooling was an intentional decision because of their Christian faith. I also don't understand why the say the family "could not afford to send their children to school". Perhaps they were referring to private school?
The state of Alaska has great home schooling programs they could have enrolled their kids in. Many places in this state that is the only option for an education.
I hope they all come together again and grow the family. They are all such heartwarming people, if we would have more like them in this world - there would be no war or poverty. Their parents did an awesome job and can be very proud ❤️🙏
