She had that perfect “60s look.” Iconic. Absolutely gorgeous. But there was a lot of tragedy in her life along with the fame and fortune. She grew up and out of that 60s lifestyle, left behind two disappointing, abusive marriages, at least two miscarriages (after trying desperately for years to have a child) and independently developed into a more than decent artist with her photography. Survivor.
I remember meeting Patti Boyd in L.A. while I was taking music lessons at Ravi Shankar's Indian school of Music. She came in with George (Harrison) one night and I just remember how tiny she was. Of course George was not a very big person. They just looked very cute together. I lived through all the Beatle years and have many stories in my memories. Such an exciting time. I am so glad I had the chance of seeing them 3 TIMES. Such a wonderful times in history.

The very definition of adorable. That accounts for a lot of her muse status. But her force of personality comes in a close second. Clapton and Harrison were discerning patrons.
Makes me smile thinking back to the 60s. Patti Boyd -- as a pre-teen we all would have trade places with her in a heartbeat.

aww my pattie fancams! I don't make as many videos of the 60's models anymore (not as much footage) but still love them. Aside from the racism (I'm mixed race) back then, the modeling world was a lot better back then. Was more about having fun rather than a crap ton of photoshopping!
