While money isn’t evil, it is a root of all kinds of evil. In this episode we talk about the dangers of wanting to be rich. If money has your heart, God does not!
I am so thankful you guys have the hard conversations! I am currently in a small group that meets weekly for accountability, and we discuss the podcast episodes every week. Thank you all for setting an example for us as young adults!
I have been listening to your podcast on Spotify for a couple of months now, and this is my first episode watching on UA-cam. I just want to say, the only voice that didn’t match their looks (that I guessed) was Nate! I don’t know why but I imagined dark brown hair and glasses. 😂 I love listening to you guys!! Thanks for these hard conversations. :)
Great episode, thank you! I dont think you guys necessarily did this, but I would just stress being careful to not romanticize other countries such as Haitis severe poverty. A lot of people visit these countries and say “aww they are so happy with so little”. They have no food and are in severe political crisis they are not “happy” just surviving as best they can. Many are willing to risk there lives in overcrowded boats to make it anywhere but there they are so unhappy
I stumbled upon this podcast recently and listened to a ton of them and have a genuine question because I just can't figure it out. What percentage of the things that Nate says are like real questions and sentiments that he has and what percentage is him just helpfully playing Devil's advocate? For example: does he actually think that he'd be happier in JP's house?
What an interesting and awesome video! One question I have is, if I want to give something away and I did not benefit from it nor does it glorify God should I still give it away? Or what should I do with it now? God Bless y’all!✝️🩷

Blessings and greetings from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Money can be destructive if you don't have a good balance with it!

The #1 cause of disappointment is missed expectations. Today I've been severely disappointed we didn't see the entire exchange over JP's shirt 🤣
