Oh, Galeco, the company making the games we find hard to like yet no reason to hate. They were like the little engine that could when it came to making the most of generally limited resources for their arcade boards and more often than not the games looked very impressive. Radikal Bikers was and is no exception.
Another notable thing is that they were one of the very few companies outside the big ones (Capcom, Sega, Namco…) that made their own custom arcade boards rather than developing games on preexisting ones. This is both very notable and a big pain in the ass for preservation since some of their games (like Ring Riders and Extreme Luge) can’t be properly emulated on Mame or similar emulators and even games like this suffer of glitches and graphical errors that aren’t present on the original games.
I miss the era of games like Medievil, Spyro, Radical Bikers, Jackie Chan Stuntmaster, Driver, Oddworld...Not to mention Metal Gear Solid, FF VII, Silent Hill.... The late 90s/beginning of 2000s have been the best era of videogames.

I'm surprised more games weren't made with this formula. Mix Radikal Bikers stunt racing with Crazy Taxi's open-world and you'd have had a winner on your hands. Might still as an indie on Steam.
When i was young my family where on vecations on Mallorca and the hotel had an area with two arcade machines. Tekken 2 and this game. :D I spent so mutch pesetas playing those two arcade machines because it was so cheap. :) Never got past the third level, tough. :P

Must have been a tournament trip or a vacation. The first time was simply figuring out how to move the bike (try turning on gas, idiot) and crashing into incoming cars. Never got my pizza delivered, but they were good times regardless. There was also a Time Crisis 2 arcade in the same building. It took me eight credits to beat it, but that was probably the first or the second arcade I had ever beaten (along with Crisis Zone.) Later on I could beat CZ without taking damage... with some luck I might be able to 1cc the other Time Crises as well. Edit: Did Crash Bandicoot just rob a bank? Apparently Crash Team Racing wasn't enough to pay the bills...

This is a game that _aggressively_ wants your money. I watched LordBBH play it on one of his streams, and the computer smoked him every single time. I can't decide if it was balanced this poorly on accident or if the designers just figured gamers would just keep dumping quarters in like suckers...
I found this game at a mall local arcade of Ananindeua(mty neighbor city) and I'm pretending to play it,I have some questions: ✓Let's pretend that I start from Diabola for example,I beat the stage,will the game push me into the other circuits in the same credit? ✓If I start by Margherita or Capricciosa routes,will happen to do all trio of stages every single play?
The video is upscaled, but the game is still running at the native resolution. It actually is possible to play this game at a higher resolution using TeknoParrot, although that wasn't an option back when I made this video.

It's not really fair to call it that, considering this came out one year before Crazy Taxi. This one is more of a standard racing game, since it doesn't involve picking up passengers and you can't drive just anywhere.

The Turbo jet boosters come out of the box the pizzas are stored in. Is that why the pizzas smell a bit like Jet fuel?

The problems are pretty minor. I used MAME 0.211 and I don't think anything changed for MAME 0.212.
