Gawd, I LOVE the way this version opens!!! While I was not a huge fan of Paul fronting Queen, he is still SO MUCH BETTER than that poser they are using now...
Queen is and forever will be: Taylor, May, Mercury, Deacon. Once in generation. What I don't get is why May and Taylor - incredibiley successfull as independant artists - rehash oldies. They proven time and again they can stand on their own.
So funny how people originally hated Paul Rodgers until that cornball Adam Lambert came on the scene, made you all realize that Paul was amazing with Queen. I surely do miss him.
Oh my, that's exactly my thoughts. If I don't compare PR to Freddie (after all there's no need to) I love the sound of his voice. But I better not speak about Adam. Seems so wrong choice.
I admit I wasn't too excited because he voice was so different but aside from AOBTD Paul nailed every song and was a joy to see. Adam Lambert just ruins everything now.
The best thing about Paul Rogers is that he never ever tried to be anything other than himself which is an absolute Legend in his own right. Adam Lambert was a Freddie Mercury Imitator...and no one will ever pull that one off to any great degree of success
The differance between Paul Rodgers and Adam Lambert is that Rodgers is not full of himself. He knew that he was never going to be better than Freddie and he didn't try to be. Adam Lambert loves himself and thinks he is something brilliant when in truth Paul Rodgers is 10 times better than Lambert will ever be
Around 1:20 it sounds like he's singing a different lyric than the usual one. I was expecting to hear "make the bed, light the light", but it sounds more like "bring them (something)". Can anyone else make it out?
Holy smokes what a version. Brian's intro melts the heart, then Paul comes on and melts the face. WOW!
BRILLIANT version

Listen to that voice. Paul Rodgers doesn't need to worry about anybody being better than he.
Adam has tried to turn Queen into a gay drag show@@MarkJohnson-ip2if

Nah, he says "Make the bed", just a bad recordind
Recording*
I thought I heard " make the bed."
@@MarkJohnson-ip2if In retrospect I think (as mentioned above) that it's just a bad recording.
Paul was having some trouble that night with his range he kept knocking his vocal down an octave
I Don't Care Give it To Me One More Time 6:34
Still better than Lambert
