@belowthestone I bought it earlier. Excited to play soon. You should know, it was on 'Coming Soon' on steam, then today it disappeared from the list. I had to search it. It isn't on 'New Releases' either. Kinda upset me because way fewer people would get to see that it's out 😰

To all who is wondering why game is getting potentially delayed on release. There was an issue with some trailer or something, and it needed to be removed in order for it to be released. Onces it is reviewd and BTS team get thumps up they can upload the early acess version.
Fun game, I'm excited to see what has changed. You almost realized my number 1 revelation from playing the demo, the torch is by far the best starting weapon.
An interesting story: for my undergrad in bio I helped with an ongoing research experiment in identifying mushrooms. For one its relatively not likely to be able to accurately identify a mushroom from their phenotype (looks) alone. As more is discovered about mushrooms more is realized that a lot of mushrooms A) look different from itself in different stages of its life and b) look like other mushroom species during different points of its lifecycle. Leading to genomic testing to be the best way. Anyways with the genomic DNA for your ribosomes, the proteins responsible for mRNA translation, are analyzed (using annoying ass PCR procedures that I had to develop myself) to figure out the family, genus, and species based on the different portions of the ribosome genome.
That is insanely cool, I love learning random science tidbits about fun things! I didn’t realize how mushrooms can look so similar or different to themselves and others depending on the stage of life they are in

For real, exact same sentiment. I want to see so much more but also want to see better game play. Also, the scared to mine thing in the mining game while saying "no, it's a foraging game" is less than ideal.

Seems like a really cool game ^^.. the only thing I would add, is that when you craft you can use/see the amount you have in your vault as well.. just to make it easier for the player to craft ^^
It was only on the screen for a second but I love that the flavor text for the Tin at 14:15 is a reference to History of the World I guess by Bill Wurtz.

@@nokstella5 Well i guess I'm a drone now, but a couple of noteworthy points are:
1. His content doesn't get the most traffic, especially for games like these that aren't the most popular/well-known
2. He probably wants to put these games out there, as he's a huge fan of roguelikes and some of these are really underrated
3. If the man has played these games/followed them since their inception, why the hell WOULDN'T he be excited to try them out again after so much time has passed?

this roguelike was made for me, i frickin loved stardew valleys mines and would usually just explore them and never do any actual farming.
Try Undermine
ive seen a lot of gameplay of undermine and it isnt the same. doesnt scratch the same itch.

If I am not mistaken weapon speed is usually faster the lower the number so the Kobold on a stick would be quicker then the Soup Ladle.

You have to understand that this game might be the very first game someone plays in their life. It's like saying "where do we need driving instructors" after you have driven for 40 years.

If you like this one you could give Core Keeper a try. It's less rogue like and more valhiem/stardew. It has base building/farming with free exploration of diverse biomes and a boss hunting/gear crafting progression system. And the music slaps.
You missed a little something. At 3:22 when you walk into the hidden chest room, there is a destructible wall piece on your left. This will lead to another room 😉

Man. The way you run into enemies saying “I’m gonna die” and then run past them into more enemies has me dying inside. Don’t circle and put them on all sides of you, back out the way you came in and bottleneck them! Don’t let the greed control you, call the pod! Haha. Interested to see more though.

I wish the pick up was a little different.. it’s frustrating to break a mushroom and either have to stop a moment to grab it or go back for it. I bet there are items to buff your pick up range though

when you're low health, just eat. if you die to greed you lose everything anyway.
You have a accent that sounds like it's either Boston or New York that just appears for 2 or 3 words every other sentence or so and I cannot describe how it it's weird not not the accent but it's nice and I can't help but want to keep to hear it

Have you ever tried Quasimorph? I really enjoyed that roguelike, but it was hard umm.
You should see mushroom picking in Poland. Here, people go to the forest and leave in a truck quickly assembled from wood because they take away a ton of mushrooms. And recently there has been drama because several new hybrid species have appeared and people don't know what to do with it.
Voidigo is 2023's best roguelike for sure!

6:19 It's actually a better weapon. It is .3 faster and +1 knockback at the cost of .1 reach. 2.2 is faster than 2.5 btw. At least in most games. Maybe I'm wrong in this one.
