Winkler is and had been great in anything he ever did as long as his natural humor and charm are allowed to come through. He's much like Shatner in that regard and is a treasure.
I lol'd when he said so confidently that he was 47. Even better when later on in episode 7 you see his DOB written underneath his mugshot as 02/05/1947

I’ve never seen this but looking after I saw an interview. He seems so relaxed and calm in his self which I think makes it work even more. Plus the coffee line is great 😂
There’s a scene where winks character interrupts Barry and the woman rehearsing a scene thinking it’s the bathroom and he has pants ready to go down cause how bad he needs to go and realizes there doing a bad scene in a bad time the movie doubt and they go back and forth till he gets fed up it’s literally the funniest shit I’ve seen
To paraphrase a conversation involving another great Henry Winkler character: "No 47 year old should look like that." "No 47 year old _does_ look like that."
Maybe I'm missing something, but his relationship with Janice always kinda rubbed me the wrong way. It never came off to me as sweet or endearing, more creepy imo
It makes me sad watching this video because it reminds me of how amazing this show was before it took the inferior style and tone turn for season 3 and 4. If only the show stayed like this for all four seasons.
