Its strange... their stance... No they didnt vote to defund the cops... but they supported a bill to investigated and make more transparent the interworking of the police department. This was during the black live matter movement so the focus was to avoid accidentally killing someone even if they where a convict. Its a big movement, while they didnt themselves entertain defunding the cops... they where part of the BLM movement which had members who did defund the cops. What's your stance on the BLM movement and the bill that ask to have cop go though more rigorous training and transparency?
No they didnt support to defund... but that depends how you see it.. they did support the bill to have police reforms and transparency in light of Black Live Matter. Members of that group did support the defund police movement. Its a big movement, different opinions happens all the time. So its really up to you to decide if the police reform and transparency bill and the BLM was your cup of tea.
