💖💖💖 This is one of my favorite songs.
After the success of 'Appetite for destruction' in 1987, Guns N' Roses were known as a bad@$$ hard rock band... so, in 1988... the band decided to do something different to expand their sound... They recorded 4 acoustic songs over 2 days. That was released in 1988 as the EP 'GNR Lies' w/ 4 heavy rock songs (including an Aerosmith cover 'Mama kin') and the 4 acoustic songs... But there was still controversy.
The song 'Used to love her' was a country song about killing a girlfriend and burying her in the backyard... and 'One in a million' had Axl using profanities to describe black, immigrant and gay folks - he claimed it was out of context, but even lead guitarist Slash (who is half-black) was p+++ed off at Axl for his choice of words.

They had an awesome debut and followed it up with a couple of good albums. But ask yourself... What has G'n'R done for us in the past 30 years? They've been living off of their 80's/early 90's catalog since then. (on and off... mostly off).
