I love the references you left in there where 1:26 is Sonic's forced spindash death, 2:50 was his third death by the closing in walls, along with the ending of the lyrics referencing his last death by being chomped to pieces by the chimera. Amazing job dude!

I love how Sonic's vocals become more complex throughout the song. At first, he's just doing beeps and boops. Later on, you can hear clear consonants in his singing. And by Act 3, it's turned into full-blown lyrics. Amazing work by you, Redseas! This is probably my favorite Exe song.
From what i can tell Sonic is the original Sonic here but he's being constantly eaten by that creature and the birds seem to be some kind of followers,warning the creature Sonic's location.
@@NitroleFart The creature is Chimera, which if I remember correctly, its design comes from Ultimate Chimera, enemy of Mother 3, only that in the creepypaste is used a recolor that uses only gray colors. In the creepypaste, he doesn't make much of an appearance, since Sonic's deaths are indirectly provoked to the creature, and it's not until the final act, in which Sonic is in a small stage, that Chimera appears and, no matter how many jumps you do, you will end up losing and thus finishing the game Chimera has a small bird on top of his head, which seems to imply in this interpretation that these birds are actually a kind of flock that alerts Chimera to the location of his victims, and thus interact in his favor in what appears to be a purgatory

I dont think this is even sonic anymore, but just someone as sonic, who's been hurt and abused, and soon to be killed, leading them to transferred here for eternal suffering. Moribund even without knowing the concept is a VERY FUN refresh for sonic creepypastas/exe media. First of all, this song is just… RIGHT. It makes you feel frantic at the beginning, but slows down as you’re moribund. Second, that fucking bird that I hate is such a devious goober I’m imagining it spreading their wings jubilantly as the monster (The Chimera I think) as they sing their last part in act 1. Thirdly, this visualizer is… AGISBDJEKEDJD WHY IS IT SO GOOD. It gives that feeling of discord as the song speeds up, but feels like a visual novel once the lyrics come up, just chef’s kiss. Lastly, The fact that this is being a mod is making me excited for something that could take months, yet could be absolutely incredible once it releases. Overall, a VERY DAMN GOOD job you did here Redseas! Hope to see more banger tunes in the future.

Moribund means a state where one is near death. Perhaps one last breath away from their eternal (in this case, rather gruelling and painful) rest. Song is already amazing. The name itself, while seems insignificant, enhanced the context by miles. Bravo.

Listened to the full song, and... don't wanna be sad, but listening to this song makes me wanna die... In ACT 3 these melancholic lyrics along with the SFX work made me feel deviously unsafe, the piano sounds incredible here, and how every addition expands the horror of the whole song, it's probably one of your best works. bravo... if you wanted to make me cry - you made it insanely well.

ok i have a better comment now. this song has such a specific tone and feeling. it perfectly captures the idea of being stuck in a neverending cycle of being endlessly hunted. act 3 really seals the deal on it with how the lyrics and instrumentation give off a feeling of losing all of your hope after realizing there's nothing you can do. you can't even embrace the comfort of death to escape, you'll always be back. it's so fucking perfect. i can't express it enough.

Now this is very unique Like very interesting more focusing on the birds of chimera that has always been on his head and it shows how the birds are the reason why chimera is able to find sonic and kill him and this sonic being Japanese is interesting and it’s Vocaloid and there is a lot of miku song references so it makes for a interesting fresh experience it the chimera sonic concept 9/10 because IM REAL is 11/10

Honestly, one of the best songs I have ever heard, and for a nostalgic creepypasta featuring a cool character going up against my favorite Mother enemy? Perfection. The instrumental and pace were fantastic, I like the idea that you're not rap-battling a monster, but simply singing a small lament to a bird, someone you see as a friend despite knowing who they are deep down.
Like genuinely watching this makes me tear a little sonic goes through an endless loop of being found and ate, just wanting to leave this purgatory, but he can't so he is basically forced to live a loop of be found by birds, eaten by Monster constantly. I genuinely feel sympathy for this sonic in particular. Its sad knowing your in an endless loop of brutal deaths. Poor sonic. Part that made me cry: 4:31
the dwelling hole motif at the start of the song really reinforces the whole idea of "sonic" being trapped and vulnerable inside an endless purgatory, only to be killed and devoured by the beast over and over again. Like shown in act 3 (3:07) (common redseas W this sh is PEAK🔥🔥.)

The final act was beautiful yes, but what truly broke me was the sample of the children crying and the sudden loud blood splatter. It just kinda sent me. Such a small detail adds an indescribable feeling of horror to the track, it’s so odd how that works. This whole song is phenomenal but that detail almost made me had to stop listening on the verge of not only tears but to the point of being sick. Ever since the missingno remix I’ve been so intrigued in your works and it’s incredible to see how far you’ve come to making such a beautiful and moving song. I really hope to see more great storytelling in other songs like this. This has to be in the FNF hall of fame for one of the best tracks for the game ever made.

this is an insanely unique song. the Kikuo references, the chroms, the usage of vocaloid vocals. the heartwrenching lyrics at the end. the gorgeous art and visuals. it's all immaculate. and those screams at the end. the way it reeks of desperation and pure agony. how the screams all layer together yet they're so faint, blending into the background. how his wails sound so strained, as if his vocal chords are being torn from how much he's crying. and that ending is so chilling. the music is so dissonant and cold compared to the lyrical section we just heard. his cries just Cease as he gets chomped. and then it all repeats. i feel so bad for sonic. i wish there was a way to help him. actual banger, this has irreparably altered my brainstream

That is, I felt sorry for Sonic. They eat him, torture and kill him 24/7 It's just shown by his look, how tired he is here. Once I heard the Aishite reference and the Miku chromatic, my brain did a whole fucking summersault. You literally told a whole story with this song and I crave more of this. One of my favorite songs you've done so far.
i dunno if anyone else has mentioned are tried to put together some semblance of whats going on in this song, but ive noticed one or two things that point us in some sort of direction. during the song, occasionally in the background you can see some sort of newspaper, however most of it is basically impossible to see on my end. the best i can do is make out whats front and center, or at least most of it, which is "high senior graduates in". theres a word before "high" probably the name of the school, however anything after "in" just cant be seen. this on its own isnt very much, but the poems towards the end also give us something to work with, as long as they are written by sonic like i think they are. the first set of stanza's are talking about the torture sonic is going through over and over again, and his desire to escape the torment. same thing for the second set of stanzas after that, talking about how he keeps being brought back after each death. the third set is what i found interesting, where one of the first lines is "I wish i could be myself again." this can be taken two ways, one being that sonic wishes he didnt have to be tortured and could go back to his days of running around green hill and such. the other, is that the person in this song isnt sonic at all, and someone trapped in this game, this purgatory, and wants to get out. this, paired with the newspaper and the fact that sonic's voice doesnt really sound like sonic should, and more sonic adjacent/if he was a vocaloid (could totally be a stylistic choice though.) leads me to believe that someone is trapped in this purgatory, and is stuck there, unable to die, if the description is anything to go by. the only thing that makes this a bit more of a stretch, is the newspaper itself, given that the previous sentence i made out could be really anything, and isnt concrete. I do wanna finish off this yap session with a reminder that this is all just speculation, and is very likely wrong in some areas, so take it with a grain of salt. or add onto it with your own thoughts! then again, people are probably too busy listening to this absolute banger to start theorizing on an fnf song, so i might be on my own 😭 P.s (looking back at it, i can kinda make out the word before "high". it could be "Modera" or "Madera", but im personally going with "Modera" since i think the letter looks more like an "o", when comparing it to the "a" at the end, but it could really be either. it doesnt add too much, just something i thought id add on.)

I love how Sonic's vocals become more complex throughout the song. At first, he's just doing beeps and boops. Later on, you can hear clear consonants in his singing. And by Act 3, it's turned into full-blown lyrics.

@@NitroleFart The creature is Chimera, which if I remember correctly, its design comes from Ultimate Chimera, enemy of Mother 3, only that in the creepypaste is used a recolor that uses only gray colors. In the creepypaste, he doesn't make much of an appearance, since Sonic's deaths are indirectly provoked to the creature, and it's not until the final act, in which Sonic is in a small stage, that Chimera appears and, no matter how many jumps you do, you will end up losing and thus finishing the game
Chimera has a small bird on top of his head, which seems to imply in this interpretation that these birds are actually a kind of flock that alerts Chimera to the location of his victims, and thus interact in his favor in what appears to be a purgatory

Moribund even without knowing the concept is a VERY FUN refresh for sonic creepypastas/exe media.
First of all, this song is just… RIGHT. It makes you feel frantic at the beginning, but slows down as you’re moribund.
Second, that fucking bird that I hate is such a devious goober I’m imagining it spreading their wings jubilantly as the monster (The Chimera I think) as they sing their last part in act 1.
Thirdly, this visualizer is… AGISBDJEKEDJD WHY IS IT SO GOOD. It gives that feeling of discord as the song speeds up, but feels like a visual novel once the lyrics come up, just chef’s kiss.
Lastly, The fact that this is being a mod is making me excited for something that could take months, yet could be absolutely incredible once it releases.
Overall, a VERY DAMN GOOD job you did here Redseas! Hope to see more banger tunes in the future.

In ACT 3 these melancholic lyrics along with the SFX work made me feel deviously unsafe, the piano sounds incredible here, and how every addition expands the horror of the whole song, it's probably one of your best works.

ok i have a better comment now. this song has such a specific tone and feeling. it perfectly captures the idea of being stuck in a neverending cycle of being endlessly hunted. act 3 really seals the deal on it with how the lyrics and instrumentation give off a feeling of losing all of your hope after realizing there's nothing you can do. you can't even embrace the comfort of death to escape, you'll always be back. it's so fucking perfect. i can't express it enough.

Honestly, one of the best songs I have ever heard, and for a nostalgic creepypasta featuring a cool character going up against my favorite Mother enemy? Perfection.
The instrumental and pace were fantastic, I like the idea that you're not rap-battling a monster, but simply singing a small lament to a bird, someone you see as a friend despite knowing who they are deep down.

The final act was beautiful yes, but what truly broke me was the sample of the children crying and the sudden loud blood splatter. It just kinda sent me. Such a small detail adds an indescribable feeling of horror to the track, it’s so odd how that works. This whole song is phenomenal but that detail almost made me had to stop listening on the verge of not only tears but to the point of being sick. Ever since the missingno remix I’ve been so intrigued in your works and it’s incredible to see how far you’ve come to making such a beautiful and moving song. I really hope to see more great storytelling in other songs like this. This has to be in the FNF hall of fame for one of the best tracks for the game ever made.

this is an insanely unique song. the Kikuo references, the chroms, the usage of vocaloid vocals. the heartwrenching lyrics at the end. the gorgeous art and visuals. it's all immaculate.
and those screams at the end. the way it reeks of desperation and pure agony. how the screams all layer together yet they're so faint, blending into the background. how his wails sound so strained, as if his vocal chords are being torn from how much he's crying. and that ending is so chilling. the music is so dissonant and cold compared to the lyrical section we just heard. his cries just Cease as he gets chomped. and then it all repeats. i feel so bad for sonic. i wish there was a way to help him.

Once I heard the Aishite reference and the Miku chromatic, my brain did a whole fucking summersault. You literally told a whole story with this song and I crave more of this. One of my favorite songs you've done so far.

Every time I re-watch this it feels like the cycle repeats along with it
i dunno if anyone else has mentioned are tried to put together some semblance of whats going on in this song, but ive noticed one or two things that point us in some sort of direction. during the song, occasionally in the background you can see some sort of newspaper, however most of it is basically impossible to see on my end. the best i can do is make out whats front and center, or at least most of it, which is "high senior graduates in". theres a word before "high" probably the name of the school, however anything after "in" just cant be seen. this on its own isnt very much, but the poems towards the end also give us something to work with, as long as they are written by sonic like i think they are.
the first set of stanza's are talking about the torture sonic is going through over and over again, and his desire to escape the torment. same thing for the second set of stanzas after that, talking about how he keeps being brought back after each death. the third set is what i found interesting, where one of the first lines is "I wish i could be myself again." this can be taken two ways, one being that sonic wishes he didnt have to be tortured and could go back to his days of running around green hill and such. the other, is that the person in this song isnt sonic at all, and someone trapped in this game, this purgatory, and wants to get out. this, paired with the newspaper and the fact that sonic's voice doesnt really sound like sonic should, and more sonic adjacent/if he was a vocaloid (could totally be a stylistic choice though.) leads me to believe that someone is trapped in this purgatory, and is stuck there, unable to die, if the description is anything to go by. the only thing that makes this a bit more of a stretch, is the newspaper itself, given that the previous sentence i made out could be really anything, and isnt concrete.
I do wanna finish off this yap session with a reminder that this is all just speculation, and is very likely wrong in some areas, so take it with a grain of salt. or add onto it with your own thoughts! then again, people are probably too busy listening to this absolute banger to start theorizing on an fnf song, so i might be on my own 😭
P.s (looking back at it, i can kinda make out the word before "high". it could be "Modera" or "Madera", but im personally going with "Modera" since i think the letter looks more like an "o", when comparing it to the "a" at the end, but it could really be either. it doesnt add too much, just something i thought id add on.)
