Thanks for this video. I wish it was on Ace Efi channel but now I know where to find this stuff. This was very helpful. It took me hours to get that pin out. I used wd40 penetrating oil and waited 5 mins and it came out instantly and easily with a push pin remover like he has. Thanks again.
So I just got mine and I want to learn how to install the whole kit properly this is great video I still don’t understand the whole dropping it in setting to to 15deg b4 tdc and then going into computer
Awesome video. I had to call aces and they directed me to your channel lol. Just a stupid question, after the lock, 15 degrees btdc, are you reversing what you did? Take the distributior out and putting the stuff back the way you had it. Or keep it locked?
When running timing control you physically lock it out then install it 15* btdc then after that you lock it out digitally and adjust it until the balancer and the screen say the same value. Then you unlock it in the handheld and boom you are running timing control.
Ive got a 4.3 V6 and aces doesn’t have a distributor for my motor but I want timing control through the Aces ECU are there any other distributors that will work with the killshot ECU for timing control
We have a v6 distributor it is been ordered from the manufacturer I have two different killshots on 4.3v6 one is a MSD pro billet and the other is a hyperspark both work fine.
I bought this whole system tb , coil, distributor and 4l60e trans controller for my 1984 chevy k10. I can set the #1 cylinder close to TDC how do I get the 15° without a dial wheel? Currently 0° on the balancer.
I have my dizzy locked out tb installed. Currently have the old distributor still sitting on the oil pump. So taking this slow to figure it all out. I have about 3 days to get this up and running. and no cover as I'm outside 😂
Hello! please tell me where to read, in what cases it is worth blocking the distributor, and when it is worth unblocking it? There is not a word about this in the instructions for Black Jack... I only read this in the instructions for Kill Shot and now I want to return Carter BBD, but leave Black Jack... Thank you
For doing timing control on the killshot. Is good. For running a high roller you can let the mechanical advance do its job or lock it out and build a timing retard table
Does everyone who gets this distributor have to do this? I bought the whole high roller ignition kit for my ford 460. Can I just drop it in like how it came?
Because some use it in different applications with cdi boxes or other things. It is easier to lock it out than install everything to be used when using mechanical advance.
It should have 4holes in the corners. If it has extra holes they might have got it swapped up in shipping or something. I got a used intake jegs once still had gasket on it.
I have not had a issue with that with this style coil. They don’t make much EMI. You can use a AM radio in between channels and turn the volume up to use it like a emi scanner for under the hood noise.
This was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks dude!
Glad I could help!

Happy to make these videos.
Awesome, thanks for the video!
I make these for people who want to know things
Awesome job y’all
Lol thanks
Thanks for this
No problem

To verify mechanical and digital values. If it don’t know where it truly is. It is assuming you mechanically set it correct
Saved my bacon on the 11th hour!
We enjoy bacon here. Even if it is Canadian bacon.

@@actionvulture5251 So why even sell these set up for mechanical advance it they are to be locked out to be used with the system?
Question; are the two rubber seals required? My one broke off.
For the grooves those are just certain applications. I just use the one it sets on.
Last question, does the coil supposed to come with mounting hardware?
I don’t think it does but I can check one of my kits I got laying around and see. I might have some somewhere.
Does the holley Strip annihilator need a lock-out distributor? I was wondering
Going old school Holley. I have never had the personal pleasure of installing one of those setups or use it with aftermarket efi.

Check out my video on balancer math. It might be helpful.

Does my coil and distributor connect to the harness that I already have
Yes they plug right in to the killshot harness if you are using the blackjack and aces coil
Does everyone who gets this distributor have to do this? I bought the whole high roller ignition kit for my ford 460. Can I just drop it in like how it came?
You can if you want and let the advance do its thing. Or lock it out and build a timing retard table in the handheld if you like.
If this is an ACES product why doesn't it come with this already done?
Because some use it in different applications with cdi boxes or other things. It is easier to lock it out than install everything to be used when using mechanical advance.
Hey why does my coil appear to be used? Is this normal? There are two mounting holes that had hardware installed
Will the coil interfere with other electronics like relays or the ecu????

That’s a 7mm or 9/32 wrench you needed
Vice grips on a good day boss
@@actionvulture5251 vise grips are your friend!
Mine was a 7mm
