I have been watching all the videos I can find to learn more and more as a novice beekeeper. This is BY FAR the best educational video that I've found to date. The way you explain in detail what you are doing step by step is invaluable. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your knowledge!

I have kept bees for the past 10 years here in Winchester KY as a hobby and as a “side gig”. I work full time, run a small livestock farm, and bee keep. I am feeding sugar this month and was looking to invert boxes also if needed. I thought I should refresh my memory and do some springtime homework on this subject.
Saying all that to say this. I am so impressed with your knowledge and your ability to convey your subject. You have lit a fire in me as that I should study my subject so much more thank you.

I genuinelyh enjoyed watching this video. I don't have bees yet, I am waiting until next spring. I am trying to gain as much knowledge as I can before I get my bees. I love that you're gentle with them and take care to not harm any bees, not just the queen. I will be watching all your videos.

Great video. I’m brand new to beekeeping-I don’t even have bees. I appreciate how you explain what you’re doing and providing the definitions in the side boxes. I’ve just subscribed as this is one of the best YT videos on beekeeping I’ve seen. Thanks!

Orange pollen is Dandelion pollen,it starts out yellow, but won't stick so bees mix nectar in it and in doing so it turns it orange

Thanks for watching and commenting! Isn't it great watching the different pollen colors as the bloom changes? I love watching them come in with bright red Henbit pollen with their little red pollen mohawks on their heads! Happy Beekeeping to you!
