Golden Rainbow Trout Spawning (B-roll)

Each summer, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission collects eggs from spawning golden rainbow trout to be used to grow the next generation of these colorful trophy fish. Of the 3.2 million trout raised at state hatcheries and stocked into public waterways annually, only about 9,500 golden rainbow trout are stocked, making them a prize catch for lucky anglers.
