    Great video! You seem to hit your forehand semi open & open stance alot! This will cause more curvature to your trajectory. Try hitting a bit more close stance with a non shaped poly such as PTP 1.25. Than you will see the benefits of the VCore 100.

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Рік тому

      Thanks. Try to remind myself to hit more close stance but always forget.

    I actually got a Demo of the stick with hyper g at 53ibs, 4g in handle and 4g on 3&9.
    Fantastic racquet.
    Demo and test, since your swing path and technique may work for you.

    Dear P'Tan,
    I hope this message finds you well.
    I would like to ask you a couple of questions regarding your review of the Tennis Racquet - Yonex VCORE 100 model-year 2023.
    1. Would this racquet be suitable for a woman who does not play tennis extensively and is at a beginner level?
    2. Additionally, do you happen to have any insights on whether Yonex plans to release a Model Year-2024 version?
    Thank you very much for providing such a helpful review. I eagerly await your response and look forward to watching your new video soon.
    Best regards,

    I think this fits more someone with a modern closed grip, playing very loose and a round poly (as the racquet spins a lot). All that would bring control and ise the lounch angle to be used only to pass the net (with the racquet face parallel to the ground on the forehand for example). And some advanced players with that tecnic can play with it and love it)
    Your swing is more classic (more follow through), muscled and your grip is open (which is not a default, just a technic style 😉), that s why you prefer control raquet (with a bit of spin) and this one doesnt fit your style.

    Compared to the vcore 100 2021, which one did you like better? And which model offered you better control and feel?

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Рік тому +1

      I like the new one better. Much better feel and more predictable.

      I played with Ezone 100 2022, Vcore 100 2021 and now using Extreme Tour Auxetic 2022.
      For me VCORE 2021 is by far more powerful than ezone 100. The power level and high launch angle is so erratic that I don't have confidence in swinging fast. Some shots felt great, some just felt wrong and almost broke the fence.
      I didn't like vcore 100 2021. This racket is for 3.0 NTRP players. I am somewhere in between 4.0 and 4.5 and ezone 100 was just better but still too much power for my normal string tension which is 22kg. I need to string Ezone 100 with Solinco Confidential 1.25 @ 24kg to have some control. I loved it with that setup but it was little harsh.
      Now using Head Extreme Tour 2022 and I liked it more. I need to be more focused, more precised and always prepared coz this racket isn't forgivable. I liked it with HyperG 1.20 at 23kg. Tour Bite 1.25 22kg gave me wrist pain so I changed to HyperG soft 1.25 22kg and it's good so far.
      I've just ordered ezone 98 2022 coz I have sold my Ezone 100 and I have always wanted to try this great yonex frame. I feel like I could benefit more from ezone 98 than from Head Extreme Tour 2022. We will see.

    I own Pure Aero , Head MP and Clash. Also demoed Ezone 100. Ended up purchasing Vcore 100. I think it has better control than ezone and Pure aero. Too bad you can’t control Vcore. Maybe use your feet a bit more. Looks like you don’t take full swings also.

    I had a chance to hit with this new vcore 100 today. I totally agree with your review as I noticed it has too high of launch angle and too much power that I had hard time controlling. This definitely is not the racquet I would use for matches. What is your main racquet that you trust the most when playing matches?

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Рік тому +1

      Now, I would trust Blade 98 for fast court, and would use Ezone 98 for slower court for a bit extra power.

  • @5ma658
    @5ma658 Рік тому +1

    I think I have a problem with strings.
    PORY TOUR REV moves too much and isn't good for controls.
    If you use vcore100, it would be better to try POLY TOUR PRO with high tension.

  • @andrewfinkelsteintennis1915

    I much prefer the 100 to the 98, they feel completely opposite to their specs. The 100 os powerful and launchy, but this is easily modulated with a higher tension..i went up to 55lbs with a full bed of poly tour pro and it worked really well. I feel like im getting excellent maneuverability and plenty of feel. Just my opinion.

  • @johnnyguitar6697
    @johnnyguitar6697 Рік тому +2

    The launch angle looks enormous. Your strokes are shooting off way higher than in any other review I've seen you make. So the 95 is too demanding, the 100 is too erratic, maybe the 98 is a happy middle for you?

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Рік тому +1

      I have high hope for 98. Actually can play with 95 tho, probably need more power string setup. But really not used to the 100, I just keep sending balls out.

      @@tantennis @Tan Tennis looking at your forehand style, allow me to give a suggestion: try hit throwing the stick more "straight" in front of you, and less "up" searching to "cover" the ball for more curve and spin. It seems that racket has high launching angle so no need to accentize it with your arm. my2cents 😎👍 keep up with the great job!

      @@tantennis just my humble suggestion, u r welcome 🙂 let's wait for the 98 model review, the feeling is that one should have some more forgiveness than the 85, and more felling than the 100, also some added mass in the head (little thicker) would result in a better plow through at service and in point closing shots 🤔🤞

    I’m asking this stick right now and agree with your video 100%. I switched to it because the Ezone 98 gave me tennis elbow. Thinking of switching to Whiteout 98 18x20. Thoughts?

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Рік тому

      Thanks! Whiteout plays very differently from Vcore 100 but it sure one of the best 98 out there. But it’s a firm racket like an Ezone 98 so using soft string is better to avoid injuries.

    Please compare with Pure Aero 2019.

    • @tantennis
      @tantennis  Рік тому +2

      The main differences are stiffness and feel. Pure Aero is a lot stiffer and has direct response. Vcore 100 is plush and muted. I think Pure Aero is better in terms of spin, but it feels unstable hitting flat. Vcore 100 is more versatile.
