It’s not possible for your hair to remain the same health as before bleaching it
The last time I grew my hair past bra strap length and I had lots of fun with color and I am 100% sure that once I get jt to a certain length I’m gonna color it all over again. It’s a myth that you can’t have healthy color treated hair, you just can’t be lazy when it comes to maintaining it and understanding what your hair needs.

People think because they don’t see it as often that healthy color treated hair doesn’t exist. They always feel like at any moment it’s gonna fall out lol
So true. I'm a lazy natural and everytime I colored my hair it never retained length. It just kept falling out. So I've given up on bleaching, even non bleaching dyes. I just play with hair paint or hair color wax that's not permanent. That allowed me to use semi color and still retain some length.
The most unhealthy hair I consistently see is people with their natural hair color. Nobody speaks about those with their natural hair color walking around with damaged hair.
I believe you being a avid wash n go'er contributes to ur hair staying healthy thru the coloring journey. Ur hair gets to constantly get moisture and tlc it needs. Cuz with color you definitely can't be lazy and go weeks with conditioning and moisturizing.
The fact that you kept your healthy all these years while still dyeing and bleaching it , it amazes me all the time, but your hair looks amazing 😍❤

I think it comes with years of practice of dyeing my hair and seeing what works to keep it healthy. Idk when the next wash day will be, but I have a wash n’ go combo coming up!

It's fun watching you enjoy your hair through color expression. You should be able to enjoy your hair your way without backlash. I have a natural Mallen Streak, and it took me a while to appreciate it. Now I love it, and it is very creative that people are now coloring one into their hair.

I totally resonate with this…people always ask me how I keep my hair so healthy even though I get it dyed quite often. I say the key is definitely MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE. Bleaching your hair makes it dry (especially if you’re type 4) so I definitely have to moisturize my hair more.
Also…I’ve been trying to figure out if I do a lil peak-a-boo what can I do that will compliment my orange hair and honestly I might do this blonde you got going on 😍 I really wanna go blonde one day but idk if I can go fully blonde on my whole head.
That’s how I felt so I ended up doing a small patch and loving it. I then decided to expand the blonde patch even more.

YAAASSS, on the tips on how to keep your hair healthy while color treated. I plan on coloring my hair again, when it gets close to butt length. I had to do a big chop, because of a bad color job that I got for graduation😭😭, but seeing all my friends color their hair, is making me want colormy hair/cry, but I am making sure I do extra extra homework on keeping it healthy, because I plan on getting a half and half rainbow once it grows out. Go big or go home type of girl when it comes to color and my hair🤪🤪🤣

I use to dye my hair EVERY summer like rainbow 🌈 colors and I still have LONG CURLY HAIR. People are use to doing home dyes and other people hair falling out. So when they see someone who still has long hair and dying it they ASSUME it’s goin to fall out!

can't wait to see my color treated hair get as long as yours omg! thinking about starting a channel cuz i rarely see girls with the same curl pattern and color and porosity as me but most importantly the same density which def changes how easy it is to do hair regardless of products. i struggle with consistency the most but i still wanna share my journey even when i'm slacking. i think that's the most relatable. i've been documenting my journey since early 2019 for myself but i'm giving myself until i start my next "hair journey phase" which is when i go to a salon to get all my new growth recolored & my hair gradually evened out (not a big chop fan but i have a section that broke of a LOT shorter than everywhere else). until then i want to work on being consistent with my routine & nursing my hair back to life so i won't have to lose so much. idk why i'm rambling lol but just putting my idea out there.
This suggestion may catch you completely off guard. But would you want to build a channel together? With two people (or more) we could give multiple hair types, curl patterns, styles, etc to our viewers And when one person is not being consistent, the channel won't suffer because there's someone else.
I'm going through the exact same thing with shape. I live how my hair looks straight but my wash and gos are just a hanging mess lol!! And I only straighten like once a year 🤷🏽♀️

Every time i watch you hair color videos I’m tempted to dye my hair. Hair dye is so foreign to me that i always back out and stick to my natural black color. Ughhh i wish i was brave enough to dye my hair 😭😭
Try wigs or clip in pieces in different colors. Also try braids with ombre. Great way to experiment without the commitment.

If you feel like the bleach had a negative effect on your hair you should try the Olaplex system. Olaplex is a professional hair system used to rebuild the bonds within your hair. You can but it at most salons, ask your hairstylist/colorist. You can also buy it online via Amazon or a professional beauty supply warehouse store.
Use shrinkage to shape it. Wet the ends where it's too long so it shrinks and it will be shorter.
Still looking good and healthy! You can tell you’ve still taken care of your hair even with the dye. Unlike another natural hair guru…lmbo! 😂

Very hard to have length and shape. My current dilemma as well. And I think I need to incorporate picking again…we’ll see. Because I’m tired of wearing my hair twisted. Giving myself a nice trim with fresh layers and we’ll see what happens.
Also, with your hair content could you do how you maintain your color treated hair here and there and just some random wash and gos cause girl I have been watching you for awhile and i owe my hair success to God letting me find you cause I’m slowly getting to waist length with your help and I may color since I see you are successful at it

My hair bleached under the color too caring for bleached hair is just putting a little more time into the hair but definitely worth it 👌🏻 I've always had high porosity hair so you get used to the routine and people saying your hair is going to fall out is funny🤣moment you get blonde thats exactly what others say i don't even think it would get to that point and i love your money piece the colors go well together but trying ginger there's always that chance it turns red🤦🏻♀️it sticks so much to blonde i get exactly what you mean
Try K18. I naturally have high porosity hair that needs more moisture and protein and k18 has worked wonders on my virgin hair after using it for 4 washes. I can only imagine what it'd do if I actually bleached or colored my hair. Trying to get my hair in its best health before coloring it. And k18 has actually changed how my hair feels.
It's supposed to strengthen and repair hair that's damaged. It looks like it's working. I've only used it 4x consecutively but I plan on using it every few months now for Upkeep.
