i feel like kpop community is weird bc if you're not a part of it you can't truly understand the connection that fans have or why we get really attached to idols and groups and what they and their music means to us

Honestly, in my own opinion, you don't have to call it the "Kpop Community" Its just like any other artist/band. Example is One Direction. They were singers and people loved them. They had connections with fans. And same goes for Kpop Idols.

Certainly came here for bts but was stunned by her speech! To most of the people in the audience, it would have been boring but to kpoppers like us, it's very true. Whatever she said is actually very true and kpop really has taught me a lot of things especially, to be open to other cultures and other people's opinions. Kpop is a world on a whole another level. My comment cannot elaborate everything kpop because we need to experience it to understand it.

One time, my sister and I put together a slide show presentation explaining Kpop (positions of members, origin, fan customs, etc) and then showed two mvs afterword (SVT and LOONA!) We showed our parents and they were genuinely interested in our speech (lol), that we ended up making a part 2 and a part 3 afterwards! Amazing speech Dabin Woo! I suppose you are younger than me and very talented. I do became an A.R.M.Y. like six months ago and my life changes until then. Like I am free from depression and I love myself. Boom! I am so proud of that in my life. But I do regret about why I didn't discovered this seven beautiful men some years ago, I could may be face my dark times and survive my highschool. And yes, it changes many things in my life. BTS should know about how they helped people from dark times even without any direct communications. You could only experience the beauty of it, once you started to become the fan of them. We are not just fans of their works, but also we love them because of their personalities as well. And also, thank you for your amazing speech and you deserve more reorganization. Keep fighting! (Sorry for my bad English though)

Kpop has me talking to strangers I’d never even look at just because they are wearing a shirt that has a Kpop group or because their dancing a familiar dance. Kpop has also opened my mind to my passion and what I want to do for the rest of my life, I used to not have an idea of what I wanted to do. Now I can clearly see it, before Kpop I used to learn the dances of old boy bands, but they were never popular and there was very few places I could find them, and so I never found my passion in it. But Kpop opened my eyes and now I can find so much joy in learning the dances and singing to the songs, even learning the language and being more open to other languages/countries. It has completely changed my outlook on life and even gave me more confidence. People now are self depreciating themselves, and I found that most of them haven’t fallen in love with Kpop or fell out of love with Kpop. I always try to stay positive for the message that my favorite idols always try to convey freedom, unity, and love. I try to get others into Kpop and even help them learn the language because we have a strong common interest.

Wow, this popped into my recommended videos. Good job! I enjoyed this a lot. I've always loved learning and experiencing different cultures. In fact, I would plan to major in French and Japanese in college to become a translator. So, for me, Kpop has done a lot. It's given me some new friends. I've gotten more confident in my singing voice bc I listen to the pronounciation and then sing it, so I practice singing more. My ear for hearing small details in language has gotten better, so I do better in my French class. My only problem is being mocked by my family. It's made me embarrassed of myself and what I enjoy. Maybe I'll show this video to them, so thank you. Keep up the good work. :) ❤️

And im glad you're doing better in French class hahaha :) but dont feel embarrassed when your family mocks you, it just means you are unique! And uniqueness is great! 💜
