He traveled from one side of the universe to the other in search of someone who could match him because he was this untouchable monster that no one could defeat. He had the coolest theme. He had the coolest design. He was the only Monster that Saitama called “Strong.” Boros is the best

You are absolutely right about this. Darker, heavier tunes...especially love when guitars are used giving a metal feeling. A heroic tune is nice but a bad guy's theme is what really stands out for me in any series.

Having heard Garou’s theme during episode 2 is the new season I have to say I am definitely doing something with that. July 24th will be the release of the OST, I’m pumped. A lot of tracks worth looking into.
Boros is one of my favorite characters of all time. Even though he didn’t have much screen time, it was oddly touching how tenacious he was in his fight with Saitama. Also, it was really cool how he was one of the first characters to truly understand Saitama and genuinely respect him. Although Boros is a villain at the end of the day, selfish and unconcerned with harming innocents (if it furthers his goals), you just gotta love his fighting spirit. He never gave up, even against impossible odds. That’s gotta count for something. :)
I know everyone is hyped to see the Garou fight in the manga and eventually the anime but...I actually still personally like the Boros fight better. I also like Boros better in general. Though don't get me wrong. I think Garou is great. I believe OPM has a wonderful cast of characters that really keep the series strong. If the entire series were ONLY about the "One Punch" gag then it would get boring. Thankfully One manages to blend in different varieties of comedy while having really good character writing to keep things interesting.

There was this split second in the anime when Boros got back up without a scratch from saitama's first punch when I straight up got chills, but in the garou fight you know saitama doesn't intend to kill garou, and this time you have certainty that saitama can't be matched. The fight itself has a more developed plot than the webcomic Boros fight, so I doubt the manga will tweak too much, but the fight is more of a garou therapy session, and the difference is that now the audience knows that

I think the most impressive thing about lord Boros wasn't that he was *literally* destruction incarnate. But actually the fact that he was so battle crazed he actually went searching for opponent that could potentially kill him and left his throne just because he enjoyed it. Giving 110% I'm battle is a real superpower. Boros may not have broke his limiter like garou or saitama but his limits are so sky high in the first place to any other hero or monster he would seem like a god. Everything about Boros screams domination down to his theme song.
I think the limiters are just way higher for other species, because i figure most aliens from Boros's species, even the weakest ones, are worth atleast 2 class A heroes, while actually strong ones are above S class level. Boros is probably the last one, but if one of them breaks their limiter, they will require one finger to beat Saitama, as his Limiter is considerably low.

for a one sided fight, it was so fucking well made honestly. Both parties knew who'd win from the start yet saitama let Lord Boros go full out for one last fight that would satisfy him to some extent(not fully since he will not be able to walk out of it alive). After destroying countless of fighters across the galaxy if not galaxies, he finally was able to go all out and rest happily after finding someone who can stand up to him and understands how it feels to be ridiculously strong.

Boros is by far my favorite of Saitama's opponents. He also had some pretty insane feats. 1. His backstory alone. A galactic conqueror who conquered much of the universe with little resistance and got so bored with being stronger than everyone else. Titled "Dominator of the Universe" 2. His armor was strong enough to take a normal punch from Saitama and left Boros unharmed. 3. Saitama called him strong twice. He has never called anyone else strong at that point. 4. Boros tanked 2 direct hits from Saitama's normal punch and also survived Saitama's consecutive normal punches. (No one else had survived this) 5. Not kicked, but KNEE-BUTTED Saitama 239,000 miles (distance from Earth's surface to Moon) in an instant (lightspeed) and for Saitama to escape Earth's gravitational pull. 6. Had a planetary level attack: Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon 7. His speed in meteoric burst was impressive enough to shock Saitama. 8. His punch in meteoric burst melted half his ship. 9. Was still conscious after expending all his energy in his final attack and also after taking the air pressure from Saitama's serious punch. 10. Regenerated his entire arm and then body in an instant. 11. Has an attack that releases destructive energy that would vaporize any normal being. 12. Several of his punches gave off powerful shockwaves, one of which extinguished all the fires caused by feat #11. 13. Afterimages could be seen in his released form (armor broken) when fighting Saitama showing his impressive speed. That's all i can think of.

Having heard Garou’s theme during episode 2 is the new season I have to say I am definitely doing something with that. July 24th will be the release of the OST, I’m pumped. A lot of tracks worth looking into.
Well, after chapter 150 of the webcomic, the theme sounds even better.
1:23 sounds so sinister, was perfect when Melzargard showed up and fit with his creepy character and form.

Boros is one of my favorite characters of all time. Even though he didn’t have much screen time, it was oddly touching how tenacious he was in his fight with Saitama. Also, it was really cool how he was one of the first characters to truly understand Saitama and genuinely respect him. Although Boros is a villain at the end of the day, selfish and unconcerned with harming innocents (if it furthers his goals), you just gotta love his fighting spirit. He never gave up, even against impossible odds. That’s gotta count for something. :)

I know everyone is hyped to see the Garou fight in the manga and eventually the anime but...I actually still personally like the Boros fight better. I also like Boros better in general.
Though don't get me wrong. I think Garou is great. I believe OPM has a wonderful cast of characters that really keep the series strong. If the entire series were ONLY about the "One Punch" gag then it would get boring. Thankfully One manages to blend in different varieties of comedy while having really good character writing to keep things interesting.

@@thebeastincarnate6663 tbh the awakened garou fight has none of the hype, because he's not the first above dragon threat to appear and survive one of saitamas punches. There was this split second in the anime when Boros got back up without a scratch from saitama's first punch when I straight up got chills, but in the garou fight you know saitama doesn't intend to kill garou, and this time you have certainty that saitama can't be matched. The fight itself has a more developed plot than the webcomic Boros fight, so I doubt the manga will tweak too much, but the fight is more of a garou therapy session, and the difference is that now the audience knows that

I think the most impressive thing about lord Boros wasn't that he was *literally* destruction incarnate. But actually the fact that he was so battle crazed he actually went searching for opponent that could potentially kill him and left his throne just because he enjoyed it.
Giving 110% I'm battle is a real superpower. Boros may not have broke his limiter like garou or saitama but his limits are so sky high in the first place to any other hero or monster he would seem like a god. Everything about Boros screams domination down to his theme song.
I think the limiters are just way higher for other species, because i figure most aliens from Boros's species, even the weakest ones, are worth atleast 2 class A heroes, while actually strong ones are above S class level. Boros is probably the last one, but if one of them breaks their limiter, they will require one finger to beat Saitama, as his Limiter is considerably low.
@@GaranNoDou298 Saitama has "removed" his limiter already, if one of Boros's species removed their limiter, it'd be an endless fight because they don't have anything holding them back. It wouldn't make sense to one shot Saitama, because, how? How do you one shot something that doesn't have limits?

for a one sided fight, it was so fucking well made honestly. Both parties knew who'd win from the start yet saitama let Lord Boros go full out for one last fight that would satisfy him to some extent(not fully since he will not be able to walk out of it alive). After destroying countless of fighters across the galaxy if not galaxies, he finally was able to go all out and rest happily after finding someone who can stand up to him and understands how it feels to be ridiculously strong.
Fun fact: *If Boros threw Saitama into space, not the moon, we would always hear this music*

Boros is by far my favorite of Saitama's opponents. He also had some pretty insane feats.
1. His backstory alone. A galactic conqueror who conquered much of the universe with little resistance and got so bored with being stronger than everyone else. Titled "Dominator of the Universe"
2. His armor was strong enough to take a normal punch from Saitama and left Boros unharmed.
3. Saitama called him strong twice. He has never called anyone else strong at that point.
4. Boros tanked 2 direct hits from Saitama's normal punch and also survived Saitama's consecutive normal punches. (No one else had survived this)
5. Not kicked, but KNEE-BUTTED Saitama 239,000 miles (distance from Earth's surface to Moon) in an instant (lightspeed) and for Saitama to escape Earth's gravitational pull.
6. Had a planetary level attack: Collapsing Star, Roaring Cannon
7. His speed in meteoric burst was impressive enough to shock Saitama.
8. His punch in meteoric burst melted half his ship.
9. Was still conscious after expending all his energy in his final attack and also after taking the air pressure from Saitama's serious punch.
10. Regenerated his entire arm and then body in an instant.
11. Has an attack that releases destructive energy that would vaporize any normal being.
12. Several of his punches gave off powerful shockwaves, one of which extinguished all the fires caused by feat #11.
13. Afterimages could be seen in his released form (armor broken) when fighting Saitama showing his impressive speed.
