That’s because she’s just so oppressive you don’t usually have to think lol.

You didn't hear it from me, but word on the street fighter is there's a tape between Blanka and Juri called Jungle Dfeet.

As someone who hasn’t played sf6 as a juri main in months, I will now use this string. Thank you
If you jab cr. MP Juri gets a counter hit trade combo into super for some characters.
Worse, if she knows it's coming she can instead of hitting 2MP, step back a touch, hit 5HP and punish counter your jab into a full combo, which is much more damage than a trade or even just getting hit up by 2MP > 214K.

Also if she steps back, you won't hit her so the super cancel won't trigger and you took initiative from her...
Of course, I assume you'd counter her hypothetic 2MP with a light move... Otherwise, you deserve to get countered.
Something I want to add. If you block the fuhajin don’t press if you’ve blocked it or else they will knowledge check you with EX pinwheel I’ve seen it a lot in ranked even masters try it on me but usually if they fail once they won’t do it again.

5MP is her only positive move but ok.
@@Demystificator Set AI to low poke reverse (any attack really) As juri Press Any button, slightly walk back, then punish the move they just whiffed.... I rest my case
@@istart2finish238How specific is it to Juri ? For what I understand, you're talking about neutral zoning. Every character can do it...
@@istart2finish238yes but it's not like there is no counterplay to this, do nothing, let them whiff a button and then you whiff punish them, or you drive rush at them etc, or just walk forward and low block.

That is a consequence of a very good Juri Guide on UA-cam.
I do exactly the same.
I mean, I just do one standing medium at the start instead of two, so the opponent won't get pushed too far away for the fuha kick
tip for juri players from a juri player: if they block just use mp,mp,stand mk.
5MK is DI food.
If they keep blocking you'll be negative, no charge up.

Im a juri main when i learned about this string in the first couple of weeks the game came out my juri improved
I've been using Cammy for the past month. She can cannon spike if the spacing is fairly close. Alternatively she can st.lk into drive rush cancel. Which will let you cr.mp ~ st.hp xx whatever.

Best option is to either prevent the DR with a LK or put something between her st MP and cr MP.
Also, if you fish a cr MK, it lets you 6frames to punish. So if you crouch, just cr LK after her 2nd st MP.
After Medium Charge kick, Juri is at -6. If she keeps pressing something afterwards, she'll lose. If she doesn't press anything, she loses the initiative.
In other words, what's the problem with that "blockstring" (actually its a frametrap) ?

really useful video. how do you learn these kinds of things on your own? i feel helpless against some tactics until i find videos like this, but i want to develop the tools in order to find my own strategies. teach a man to fish and all that you know
Just experience really. I see it happening online then go into trailing mode and replicate the situation to find an answer.
Or flashkick with deejay or Guile after the medium fuha
Do you have any tip on the timming to connect QCF Punch after anti-air QCF OD Kick with Manon?
Use the light version of qcf p. With practice you can recognize that sometimes it hits on a weird angle, so just do qcb MK. hope that helps.

Small tip: in choosing which scenes to use to demonstrate a concept, be sure that their left to right orientation match up. I know the notation myself and know juri's combos myself, but even I randomly found myself thrown off by watching you talk about 5mp,5mp,2mp 214mk (I know you used the other notation) but then watching juri attack gief from the right, while you had the onscreen controls showing going right, it kinda like fucked up my brain lol. So if even I got disoriented and I know her moves (it's just conflicting information in the brain at the same time), then you're likely going to confuse someone that doesn't know the game like I do. Just a consideration. Thx for vid.

2MP is cancelable, so they can DI back if they didn’t buffer the whole thing at once. Much riskier.
It is. Since the video mentions the players don't turn their brain on. Otherwise, use DI for 3rd MP. It should work.

I don’t know how people have fun playing juri. It’s like Deejay without any of the fun gimmicks, except all her combos is more or less just mashing mediums together.
The style, the crazy dash, crazy drive rush, crazy attitude, stand fierce, throw loop 50/50, fuha stock combinations, air throw, cool ass dp, do I need to keep going?
She's one of my favortie charactors that stood out to me before I even played sf5 (saw a clip of her dp on youtube) and was determined to main her as late as I was to the game.
Now fast forward to this game she's even stronger and uses the games mechanics REALLY well.
She's one of the funnest characters and I'm so happy and proud of my self that I made from bronze sf5 to gold and could easily go to platnum in sf6.
I just want to better my dp anti air and conversions before moving on to platnum and start facing diamond players in casual.
