The Contrarians is a show where one of us jumps in the hot seat picks a dark horse album from a band as that band's best album. The guest host will argue against them with facts, stats and all around truth, subjective and objective!

Led Zeppelins' Celebration Day is a MUST have! Alter Bridge live at Royal Albert Hall is amazing, and David Gilmour has two - Remember that night (guest appearances by David Crosby, Graham Nash, and David Bowie) and Live in Gdanks - which has THE definitive version of "Echoes", and is also the last live performance of Richard Wright, may he RIP.
Here are a couple of my favorites that I own. I won’t name them all but here are a few.
ADIOSLAVE- Live at Cuba
MEGADETH- That One Night live in Buenos Aires
JOE BONAMASSA- live Beacon Theatre
BLUE MAN GROUP- The Complex Rock Tour
PRINCE is a good pick Davy. I have that also.
I would pick Alice Cooper but I own 4 of them and hard to pick one.

D.R.I. Live At The Ritz. It's a 1987 show released on dvd in 2001.
Nightwish: "Showtime, Storytime"; in addition to the music, Floor Jansen is hypnotizing 💖
Kamelot: "One Cold Winter's Night"; favorite era of one of my favorite bands
Dio: "Sacred Heart Tour"; favorite performer ever, it has a lot of edition, but man, Denzil the dragon is the best 😆
Magnum: "Wings of Heaven Live"; best rock band ever!
Iron Maiden: "Live After Death"; I go back to 13 years old every time I see it 🍺🤘
I would show everyone the sword fight with the dragon at that concert!
Amazing picks,luckily I have a bunch of them but haven't watched them for years, I'm going to rectify that this weekend.
Keep hearing that my favourite live concert Weld by Neil Young and Crazy Horse is going to be remastered and re- released on Blu Ray without the dreadful endless crowd shots. Come on Neil get on with it.
Bad Brains-Live At CGBBs 1982 is a must have/watch. The best of Motorhead DVD gets a lot of views too.
i totally agree with the springsteen. i have 2 3lp box set boots i will never part with. from that tour.
My favorite is from Madison Square Garden with Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton wow is this good.Winwood kills it on guitar besides piano etc.Also Jethro Tull live from Madison Square Garden from 1976 is awesome
