I thought the towing capacity of the bronco was 3500lbs?
It is. Weight distribution hitch helps a little and she did other mods she kinda discussed a while back but hasn’t disclosed yet. People will argue the benefits of all mods until they are blue in the face though lol

I want to see that camper wrapped in the same Army Green. After moving from Utah to Florida, I hadn't seen snow for 22 years. When I did see snow I was driving a Dodge 3500 and a 40 foot trailer with 12,000 lbs from Utah over the passes to California. That was a fun drive, but those places are so beautiful.
I am hoping to wrap the camper!

I love our outer banks 2.3 w/3.73 gears. We tow our salem 178BHSKX and get about 12mpg. Only thing I added is SumoSprings and tekonsha Prodigy P3 brake controller and it does great. Only downside is high winds above 65mph. Perfect tow speed seems 63mph in sport mode.
The 2.3 doesn’t get enough credit for how great it is!

I wanted retro old school look so she is 4 door base model only option was hard top .. Been a Ford guy my whole life and absolutely love this vehicle .. Keep up the great content and Travel Safe !!

Just pulled the trigger on a camper, thanks to her videos as well! Just took it home today, I also have the 2.7. I bought a Sportsmen 20’ and it acted like it wasn’t even there. Pulled EXCELLENT! So glad I bought it. Can’t wait for some good camping this summer! Weight distribution hitch is a must!

Whats you rv weight?
I noticed during your towing, you were on a flat stretch at 1.5rpm and 3ish psi boost. Did you notice temps going up doing so? Ive thought a higher rpm and less boost would be better for a tiny 2.3l. But I dont know much about turbocharged vehicles.
We monitored temps the whole trip and were within typical range

Did your bronco come with the tow package and trailer brake controller?
Mine did not and I will retrofit. Would be nice to know where all the wires are that need to be connected for wiring harness.

@Buckle Up Buttercup Cool Deal. I have seen people install the redarc unit under the dash and plug it into a factory harness there. I wanna know where that actuator wire is at the rear of the Bronco.

How much does that camper weigh? I have badlands sas, lux, and 2.7L engine. I have the Redarc elite brake controller, which one are you using?

I have an OuterBanks 2.7 Lux, pulling a Sportsmen Classic 2023 22’ @ 2980lbs dry weight. Bronco is pulling excellent with it. I was very impressed that it felt it less than I though. No other suspension upgrades but not even really squatting with the weight distribution hitch.
