In the interview with the reporter, he has a barely perceptible unsynchronized blink rate between his left eye and his right eye. If you slow it right down you can see that his right eye lags with a more sluggish raising and lowering of the eyelid . Add that to the apparent sneer of disdain and it almost looks like a slight facial palsy, although it’s difficult to see because of the camera angle.

@FranssensM What he's trying to convey (very badly) is that he stalked her when she left him earlier this year. She left with the baby and stayed somewhere in Falls church. He freaking stalked and found the building where she was staying at. He stayed outside the building until he found her. It appears he may have hacked into her email. Listen to that part again. He tells on himself.

Around 1.16. 53 after the reporter asks why he hadn't reported his wife missing, he starts his answer with "the next day" and corrects himself "on the first day", my first thought was- the next day after what, what happened on the previous day.
He has a definite time/event schedule in his mind which he is referring things to, but it's not quite the narrative of the story he's telling. Similarly, I think he does badly on questions about what she took with her when she left (because she didn't leave), and appealing for her to come back (because she can't). I guess it's hard/takes processor time to work out the the things he things he should be saying.
Chase, you look so light and happy. I'm over the moon you're healed, curing yourself is something people can't believe. My DOCTORS don't believe me. Still saving up to do your course, it will be so worth it. Head over heart, heart over pelvis. We're going through an awakening, more people are coming to me for reiki healing now too. 💙 We are nature. 💚
RE, holding children and cultural differences. When I read British books I notice that adults admit to wanting and needing 'cuddles' from children. Older siblings might say that the baby gives 'lovely cuddles.' Americans don't say these things. Hug your kids. Early and often. (Not directly connected to the case).
I got the “our baby, the baby, my baby” the first time I saw this… my husband and I were divorced many years ago, I still say our children to this day. If only to make him realise these are our children, not mine, as in he’s just as responsible for them as me. Which he does.. but when I’m taking credit, theyer mine.. 😂
I am Anglo Indian, the thing I have always found amusing is the reverse head nod. Up & down is no & side to side is yes. Holidaying from Australia to Mumbai was very interesting indeed.
This case is local to me. I heard about Mamta being missing in my local groups before the police posted it. Here are some facts - She last went to work on 7/27. She was working couple days a week as a nurse. Her baby was soon to turn 1 yr old. She last conversed with her mom on 7/29 (she used to call her daily. Moms in Nepal so there is a time gap). 8/1 - missed work. Coworkers called for well-check, which cops performed on 8/2 ( that was the first video shown here). Naresh told them she went to her sister's in NY or TX. Lies, she has no family in the US. They're both from Nepal. He gave different dates to cops, reporters, family, and friends. Cops think she was unalived by him 7/30 - 31 early hours.
History - She called 911 for DV in February. Nareshs parents were visiting them for a few months at that time and things were extremely tense. Cops came, she said he's hiding her passport and broke her phone. He gave her passport to her. She didn't press charges. At one point during parents stay, Naresh and his mom beat her up and left bruises. She left WITH the baby, not without. He lied to cops about that. She stayed with a work friend and then stayed in an apartment in Falls church. He found her(!) and convinced her to come back. He promised his parents will leave. They left at some point.
In June, she posted in a immigration group about her passport gone missing and her naturalization interview was coming up. Naresh lied when he told the reporter that he can't find the passport. He made it disappear a couple months beforehand. Her interview was in first week of August. She didn't make it.
Cops found evidence of 'concealment of body' in his home. You can look the rest up. There is a lot in this case and there is no doubt he unalived her. Hasn't been charged with that yet.
One more small thing - He worked for the WHITE HOUSE! in April, he searched using his work laptop - what happens after spouse dies. Secret service found that in his search history!! It's in his arrest warrent.
Apparently, there was significant 🩸 found in the home leading from the side of the bed to the bathroom with drag marks and significant 🩸 in the bathroom and tub. There was so much in the bedroom carpet, it was still stained pink and he tried to cover the stain with the bed. He was caught on video surveillance disposing multiple garbage bags into various dumpsters throughout the city. He has a history of dv against her. Apparently he destroyed her last phone. The last times she left for several weeks at a time WITH her baby. He expressed several times according to her that if she left the baby with him without a baby sitter or nanny, that he would give up the child into foster care. I think the only reason he is holding onto the baby is because it makes him look better and because the baby probably witnessed the whole thing and he wants to make sure no one else could access her and inquire as to what she witnessed. He limited access to their daughter up until his arrest, when she was placed in the guardianship of a friend of Mamta. Their daughter is in a guardian's custody. He has been arrested for concealing a body. It would later be discovered that he googled some things such as "how soon can you remarry after your wife dies in US" Before she was even reported missing. I think it's obvious that he beat her, had an "oh sh**" moment when he realized he had ended her life and dragged her from the bedroom to the bathroom after mulling over what he was going to do as the 🩸 seeped into their carpet. Then he placed her in the bathtub, ran the water and went down into the kitchen, looking for knives. Hence why he keeps bringing up the dishes with the last time he saw Mamta. It was a half truth. He probably grabbed the knives from the sink, and returned to her upstairs to try to dismember her. The bags in the surveillance apparently looked "wet", like they were holding something "sloshing" around in the bag. He's probably butchered his own meat before, it's pretty common for south Asians to do that (my husband is middle eastern, so technically south Asian and knows how to efficiently butcher meat). He would likely treat her dismemberment like that of a goat or a sheep. If she often prepared foods similar to certain Pakistani dishes that i know of (cow/sheep hoof soup, biriyani etc) you'd need to have access to good, sharp knives, as goat and sheep meat are very tough to cut before cooking. (I cook sheep and goat A LOT lol, and as a result, I frequently have to sharpen my knives. She had apparently prepared dinner that night. If it was a meat-dense meal, she probably needed her sharper blades on hand for preparing. I'd like to know what it was she prepared, but I think it's likely to have been something traditionally Nepali. I don't know much about Nepali cuisine, but I personally do know a lot about other south Asian cuisine--Indian and Pakistani--and I would imagine the dishes are probably similar. I'm just waiting for them to update the charges to homicide. She wouldn't have left her baby. Never.
I wanted to express tremendous gratitude to this panel. Your videos are extremely captivating and I am able to learn something each time I watch them!!!! I also wanted to tell Scott Rouse for one of the best body language books I have ever seen. The illustrations are perfect for visual learners. I cannot wait to read the books from the rest of the Panel,
US Viewers: Vicki Pollard is a character played by Matt Lucas of "Little Britain" fame. "Little Britain is a British sketch comedy series that began as a radio show in 2000 and ran as a television series between 2003 and 2006. It was written and performed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas." It's hysterical and worth checking out! 😂
He is a military veteran, he speaks and understands English better than what comes across. He has no interest in finding his wife. His babbling is difficult to understand, which is part of his deflection. He avoids eye contact. He is given the opportunity to plead for assistance in locating his wife however he refused to make a statement because he needed the police to okay his statement. I’m wondering if his head movement reflects what happened to his wife. The reporter did a good job asking pertinent questions. I’m going to dive into this case and find out what he did. Thanks for the insight.
He was literally fighting with the reporter who was trying to help him get a message out about his wife. He also had an inappropriate grin on his face that was incredibly creepy and not in-line with a grieving/concerned husband. His response, or lack of response, speaks volumes about his character.
I know in some cultures and with certain afflictions, they smile when nervous or even angry. How in the world can he casually hold a child on one hip, gesture with the other hand, and over-chat as if there's a lost dog running around the neighborhood
Mom of 8 here, biological and fosters. Yes!! A baby, even a little one gets heavy!! 😅 I've had babies in our house for the better part of 10 years. I am well "trained" in holding babies and yes they get heavy!!
I know very little about this case but he comes across as a Scott Peterson to me. Selling the house right away is nuts. Even the news reporter looks surprised in the last segment. He shows deception and no worry for his wife but looks afraid for himself. Thanks for this, I’m looking forward to going down the rabbit hole of this case. “Oh Susannah”. I’m right there with you guys. In fact I’ve realized how much I’ve learned from you guys! Thank you ❤
What the heck is the name of his wife? Maybe he said it,but i don't remember it. It's another case of "I ,me,mine." " MY wife." "SHE" "MY baby" All of these are possessive pronouns, as if he owns them .And when someone owns things, they can do whatever they want with their THINGS. So, why does she not have a NAME? WTF is her NAME? He doesn't even call her by her name. Sounds like she didn't exist to him as a real person . And likely she's dead now and likely he knows it.
I apologize for the late comment. “Happy Veterans Day” @ Greg and Chase. To everyone who is serving or has served. “Thank you for your service”. From a Texas Navy Mom 🫡
The indifference from this guy is alarming. His wive is missing and he doesn’t seem to have any interest in finding her.He couldn’t get away fast enough in the last video.
30:48 been married to a south Indian for long time, when he or friend or family does the head or hand gesture it's almost like a quick "Yes yes, maybe" to look like they agree without saying they do. When my husband does it to something I ask him to do, it means I will end up doing it 😂
Weeellll... In Canada, south Asian gentleman reported his mother in law missing, then some time later his wife. Both were found in the freezer in the basement of the man's house. No points for guessing who put them in there. Missing people are not mostly murders. Murders are the rare cases. It's easy to miss a murder amongst the noise of fuges and fugitives.
I had the same thought. I do think many do it in anger and not premeditated, then they start acting like an innocent person, and, not being innocent, they give things away.
The reporter asked him directly where she was Wednesday night, and then he said she took off the night before the cops came, which was Wednesday night. He flat out, lied. He said she was doing dishes at one point.
Guys, I would love to see the interviews of the Ariel school children who were meant to have had a close encounter with aliens. I don't recall you analysing children before on your show. Please look into it?
The clip at the end where he reiterates "I'm the one suffering" is so telling. How could I be the perpetrator when I'm the victim?! He doesn't say "I'm in agony because she's missing, and please let's find her." He emphasizes "I'm" and also uses the words "the one," meaning in his mind there's at least two. So just to clarify, "I'M the one whose the victim here, NOT HER." Don't get it twisted. Really hope to see an interrogation on this guy. Thanks BP!
when she asks how long have you guys been married, there is an adult in the background, pokes head out and backs up in the house, so he is not alone with the baby
Trying to give the cops a place to check, he inadvertently admitted to stalking her previously. In one sentence he said he thinks she's in texas, then later he asks if she's at work, because she's supposed to be there.
From the second he opened his front door 🚪 he’s absolutely off. Never heard of this couple before tonight. That poor woman & child. He seems to want women to mind, obey & believe him 💯. When he’s peacocking for a millisecond over the Army & the cop says, naw my wife is Army, he immediately has that oh chit I’m screwed look
Absolutely fascinating. It'll take me forever to recognize these clues and use them to support a conclusion, BUT I intuitively know that something is very VERY wrong with this man and I would make sure I always knew where he was in relation to myself. Thank you for sharing this with us; your work makes good people safer. ❤
I have an odd idea for an episode. I think it would be really interesting if The Panel reviewed really impactful movie scenes and explained why the audience can connect so deeply with something we know is fake. How does an actor successfully convey such intense emotion?
28:45 - Yes, the head movement is completely cultural. It's an Indian thing. It is when you want to ingratiate yourself with someone and be accepted. A sort of subservient gesture such as when the boss tells you to do something and you bob your head in agreement Indian style. Mamta Kafle Bhatt is from Nepal. She came to the US for an arranged marriage with Naresh Bhatt. It is the same sad story. After massive dowry payments from her parents to his, she is killed off and they keep the dowry. These crimes happen often in India. In my parents' luxury apartment complex, a young woman was found dead on the ground apparently fallen from the 10th floor. The police investigated and found the husband and in-laws were giving her electric shocks daily till her father coughed up more dowry money. One day they went too far and she died of a shock. So they bribed the night watchman and laid her out on the ground and pretended she had fallen. Her expression was serene, not contorted, no bones broken, no blood. Inside the apt, police found the beds were filled with gold and silver ingots, so much money but they killed her over more money. Of course, the whole family ended up in jail. This was as recent as 1980. And this was in a big city. Its much worse in the provinces and villages. A couple fell in love and got married secretly. Each was from a different community. The villagers found them and hanged them from marrying outside their community. Imagine that. Still going on today.
If my spouse was missing I would look directly in the camera and plead with my spouse to return. It would never occur to me that I have to ask the police’s permission to spread the word about my spouse’s disappearance.
He literally said to the cops that they were not getting along, they were getting divorced, she then broke her phone and went to Texas or NY to her sister's place. Now he's saying the opposite to the news anchor. Now he's saying they got along and that HEs's the one who contacted the police about her missing. Completely different narrative.
What is her name? The wife and the baby he has not said their names. I think he only said daughter one time. Is this a culture where daughters are less important than sons so it is just a habit? He keeps saying "the" baby the majority of the time. At 9 or 10 months I don't know how he sees her as baby and not a complete person with a name. Since he was in the military his vocal clarity and sentence structure would be much clearer to understand. Happy veterans day brothers! A retired USMC CSM once told me the best response to being thanked is to reply 'Thank you for being the kind of American I was willing to die for!' Mark, we serve for freedom and human rights. We do not have the luxury of not worrying about the world. That means you too. I am going to thank you for making the world a better place in your own way. Scott, keep making the world better.
The head movement, side to side, when an Indian is explaining something, IS DEFINITELY cultural! Was listening to you guys, and had to go to Utube to see if you mean that side to side movement. Definitely cultural. Travelled in India - and me and my buddy made this head movement, as a joke, when we spoke to eachother, cause it was so funny to us.
Geez, that last video, The primary concern is him getting in trouble, if you're an innocent spouse and your wife is missing, that's the last thing on your mind. It's like watching a politician asked about his bribing allegations and he says he needs to check with the authorities first, my goodness.

Well spotted.

In Brazil we say “Não explica, que complica!” Meaning the more you explain, the more the situation complicates itself!
Why would a young mother leave her baby , because they don’t !
When his parents are not there!!!
Some do.
NOBODY in today's world destroys their phone - especially, if they are leaving!😏

Right, that also caught my attention.
We are nature. 💚
RE, holding children and cultural differences. When I read British books I notice that adults admit to wanting and needing 'cuddles' from children. Older siblings might say that the baby gives 'lovely cuddles.' Americans don't say these things. Hug your kids. Early and often. (Not directly connected to the case).
Sorry to comment off topic, but Chase looks great in green.
My dad quote this frequently:
O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive! -Walter Scott
Thank you for your service gentleman. ❤❤❤❤
"He opened the door and I just knew he killed her. I dont know how, but it was unmistakable."
I have absolutely no doubt.
Sometimes you just get a "feeling" about someone.
He doesn’t even ask the police why they are looking for her or ask if she’s okay
. . . After dinner and doing the dishes? Thought mark might make that call. That was my Spidey sense.
Here are some facts -
She last went to work on 7/27.
Wow! Had never heard of this case! Thanks for all that info! Hope her family gets justice!
I love the Chase and Scott banter
Never.
Wow! Very informative.... thank you.
"Worried about your wife?" - answers with the emotion one would put into "yeah, I'll have fries with that".
He lied, her boss called for a welfare check
"Mainstream media tends to blur the truth."
There's the understatement of the year!
Absolutely 💯
Americans just elected a felon president - something is very wrong with how people get their info.
Not only no family in NY or Texas, but she has no sisters! She had only one brother.
Liar liar pants on fire.
Really? 😮
I love your analysis! Fascinating teaching. Oh, and look how close you are to 1 million!! Soo exciting!!
Least he's in jail now denied bond
Oh really? I'll have to look it up, I didn't know he got arrested. Man if there's an interrogation video hope they cover it, the BP.
I liked "do you want to come in or shall I come out?"... as he is blocking the door and shutting it ;)
He doesn’t like, let alone love her.
Mom of 8 here, biological and fosters. Yes!! A baby, even a little one gets heavy!! 😅 I've had babies in our house for the better part of 10 years. I am well "trained" in holding babies and yes they get heavy!!
He's just too nervous...And explaining too much...
Green is your color, Chase!
Happy Veteran's Day, gentlemen! And thank you for your service. ;) This one had some good variety, Scott and Greg. 💚
This guy is saying,”I’d rather you didn’t find her. Please don’t find her. I don’t think we’re allowed to find her “ 1:40:39
I know very little about this case but he comes across as a Scott Peterson to me. Thank you ❤
Question for Mark: Would Vicky Pollard go on the offensive with, "Are you disrespecting my family?"
Excellent observation Chase, he has no surprise that officers were at his door, big red flag! Good call.
Picking up the nearest kid to hold as a virtue signal. Classic.
What the heck is the name of his wife? Maybe he said it,but i don't remember it.
It's another case of "I ,me,mine."
" MY wife."
"SHE"
"MY baby"
All of these are possessive pronouns, as if he owns them .And when someone owns things, they can do whatever they want with their THINGS.
So, why does she not have a NAME?
WTF is her NAME?
He doesn't even call her by her name.
Sounds like she didn't exist to him as a real person . And likely she's dead now and likely he knows it.
Mamta is her name!!
Love Mark's hat tip to Vicky Pollard! 😄
He sounded like Chris Watts at the end. "Just come home. Whatever it is we can fix it." Maybe he recalled that as something to say in his panic?
30:48 been married to a south Indian for long time, when he or friend or family does the head or hand gesture it's almost like a quick "Yes yes, maybe" to look like they agree without saying they do. When my husband does it to something I ask him to do, it means I will end up doing it 😂
Good evening from Stockholm Sweden
Sweden for the win yo!
Without the Stockholm Syndrome 😂 Glad you're here!

Why do these men think they are so special, so smart that they will get away with murdering their spouses?
Delusion
Good idea
Yes! Hope they do!
@@michelleeven24 I'm also interested in kids, but there are more privacy issues.
Thanks BP!
This poor lady. He hated that she was becoming independent and wanted to have autonomy over her life. I know someone in a similar situation.
1:00:47 aaahh love your baby, Scott ❤
Thank you for your service Greg and Chase ❤
Mark, you are dapper as always ❤
Great video ❤
I don't see the link for the Behavior Table of Elements that Chase mentioned. How can I get it, please?
I might have missed it, but I don't recall him even mentioning her name once.
I remember that guy with the suddenly missing hard drive, Greg. He was a piece of work too.
when she asks how long have you guys been married, there is an adult in the background, pokes head out and backs up in the house, so he is not alone with the baby
Absolutely Greg I saw it immediately. All the extra data, and or set up story from that guy. He was speaking so fast from nervous energy.
Good one,Chase your Right 👍
Absolutely fascinating.
😢
Thank you for your insight and explanation. Very helpful 👌
If my spouse was missing I would look directly in the camera and plead with my spouse to return. It would never occur to me that I have to ask the police’s permission to spread the word about my spouse’s disappearance.
He didn't want to ask for help because "I don't want to be the bad person." Bizarre.
Not even a minute in and theres a freaking smoke alarm beeping. How do people live with that?
Psychopaths do live comfortably with that.
If you cut out his "you know"s and "like"s, there's not much left. Unbearable to listen to.
I'm glad someone else noticed this.
I'm guessing he learned much of his English from someone under 50.
Chase, those shades of green you're wearing in this video must be your color. It really becomes you. 💚
Wow! If he's not the person who contacted the police that's an easily provable lie. 😮❤
@windywednesday4166 exactly!!!
A retired USMC CSM once told me the best response to being thanked is to reply 'Thank you for being the kind of American I was willing to die for!'
Mark, we serve for freedom and human rights.
This is right down the street from me! So excited to see your analysis!
