Allahumma Shalli 'ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ala alihi washahbihi wabarik wasallim . Thank's a lot Bro Paul for sharing the Beautiful video. Much love from Indonesia
Salam Paul Thanks for the story of our beloved Prophet Muhammad s. a. w I was mesmerized listening to his physical description read by you... Masha Allah TabarakAllah
I look forward to your reading chapter by chapter from this excellent book. This chapter in particular has been very interesting. Thank you for bringing it to the public. May Allah reward your noble efforts. Ameen.
I never knew about the story of the daughter of Abu Talib. Thank you for this captivating narration. I truly felt your love for our prophet, who said "A man is with whom he loved (meaning in the hereafter)". May Allah make us close to him in Paradise, peace and bessings be upon him and his family and companions.
As a woman , Khadija has always been my inspiration to be strong , independent, and successful woman no matter how ignorant the society around you can be. She was powerful, confident, beautiful and a successful entrepreneur in a time when they used to bury girls alive out of shame. She leaves no excuse for any woman, let alone muslim women who claim to be followers of her beloved Muhammad (pbuhh), to live a life of fear and submission to toxic society .
As you said Paul, an all rounder the Prophet was. He was a monogamist too! One of the significant yet often unsaid about the first marriage is the Prophet never marry another when Khadija was still alive. In certain region whenever a Muslim wants to practice polygamy, they often justify it as a sunna, or acts of the prophet and conveniently forgetting that monogamy is a sunna too.
Very true... marriage of prophet Muhammad SAW and khadijah r.a has 25 years in monogamy, his monogamy marriage is LONGER then.. his polygamy mariage which is only 13 years. So.. i agree with u.. Monogamy is also SUNNAH 👍
Beautiful narration, Masha'Allah Little side note: Some people describe (Waraqa Ibn Nowfal) as a Christian, and That's not true, however he was always described as Man of knowledge or a believer of the book (Jews literature). When the mother of the believers (Khadija) took the messenger upon receiving the first encounter with the angel Jebreel (Gabriel), Waraqa first word to them was "this the same namus that used to come to Moses" Namus = he meant Gabriel. He's story (decades before the messenger received his first revelation) alongside a couple of searches of the truth, decided to travel and study the revelation that exists and find the true religion, however the others died much earler trying to stick to Ibrahim religion (Hanafi = which Islam as Qu'ran described) and Waraqa died after the famous meeting showing his willingness to support the messenger when his people drive him out of his home (Mecca). He knew these facts from books existed, which apparently didn't make it into the Bible today. Salam Alaikum
It is foolish to describe Waraqa bin Nofal as a Christian.... Christianity and Judaism were not accepted from the Arabs, the sons of Ismail.... Waraqa bin Nofal was one of the five great Hanafi da'wa, including Qus bin Sa'idah, Umayyah bin Al Salt and Abdul Muttalib, the grandfather of Rasulullah. The conservative minority that adheres to the Sharia of Ismail and the belief in monotheism.... They fiercely fight the doctrine of paganism and the heresies that were introduced to the Hanif religion and in which the Quraish and jorhom were believers in it.
Brother Paul salaam alaikum, beautiful narrative, it's very front connected to the prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Alhamdulillah we Muslims have no doubt whatsoever three prophet Muhammad ﷺ being mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel. I love the description you're giving of the prophet Muhammad ﷺ. What an amazing life did he live prophet Muhammad, while living a life of poverty, neglect, orphanage and instability he was being shaded from the sun by Angels, trees and clouds. There is a story about a tree in his mosque in Madina where he used to sit by it’s trunk and one time he didn’t sit next to this tree so the tree started crying and everyone can hear it so the prophet pbuh knew why the tree was crying and was comforting to it
Khadija bint Khuwaylid was the first love of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). She had rejected the marriage proposals from Abu Jahl and Abu Sufyan, as the God had already chosen her for his Prophet (peace be upon him)
I really enjoy these snippets of seera. Especially on a Friday morning. Thank you Paul. Do you narrate for audiobooks Paul? I guess “Who is Shiloh?” is the topic of the next interview?

Thanks Paul for this beautiful narration. However, I'd like to point out that the story of the prophet's proposal to Om-Hani is not authentic, as the chain of authority of that hadith is not reliable. I can link to a site that verifies that very doubtful chain of authority, but I suspect that such links in the comments section might be prohibited by UA-cam.
I love your videos and find them very educational and I'm impressed with the books you read both the quality and quantity. But I must admit that I find the western writing about historical event not to be professional compared to the Arabic ones I'm used to reading. They are full of assumptions about how people felt or thought and they use one narrative and present it as the only one and that it's 100% saheeh when there is no such thing especially before the Prophet became a prophet. Arabic historical writers (the very old ones at least) are very clinical and include all the narratives and the degree of their authenticity and leave it to the reader to decide which to believe.
My eyes watered when were discribing the prophet apparence ... can someone explain what did the prophet gave Khadija to marry her ? It was saidd at the end .. i thought she was far richer and didn't need anything
I hope to hear the story of Umm Ma’bad when the Prophet passed by her on the emigration journey while she was in her tent, and how the Prophet described her husband with a very eloquent description in the Arabic language until her husband said to her, “Om Ma`bad,” this is what the Quraish are looking for to kill him
wow first love of muhammad that very seldom to be tell among muslims, so if you all ever do reject your proposal to your first love, dont worry our prophet muhammad ever felt the same just like us, and without doubt Alloh grant another woman that better than before, she is Khodijah, actually if this story to be continuing, ummu hani rejected muhammad proposal twice, first one before married khodijah and the second one after khodijah died, beautifull love story 😍😍😍😍

Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, loved Khadija so much that even Aisha felt jealous towards her: *Narrated by Aisha:* *I did not feel jealous of any of the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) as much as I did of Khadija though I did not see her, but the Prophet (ﷺ) used to mention her very often, and when ever he slaughtered a sheep, he would cut its parts and send them to the women friends of Khadija. When I sometimes said to him, "(You treat Khadija in such a way) as if there is no woman on earth except Khadija," he would say, "Khadija was such-and-such, and from her I had children." [Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith **#3818**]* *Narrated by 'Aisha:* *Once Hala bint Khuwailid, Khadija's sister, asked the permission of the Prophet (ﷺ) to enter. On that, the Prophet (ﷺ) remembered the way Khadija used to ask permission, and that upset him. He said, "O Allah! Hala!" So I became jealous and said, "What makes you remember an old woman amongst the old women of Quraish an old woman (with a teethless mouth) of red gums who died long ago, and in whose place Allah has given you somebody better than her?" [Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith **#3821**]*
I think what Aisha said in the second paragraph is kind of rude. Also, was the Prophet (pbuh) upset that Hala asked for permission to enter. Does this imply Hala should have entered without permission?
