Welcome to Forts! Today I invest all of my war funds into an infinite army of drones! Let's see how long the Boss Level Fort Defenses hold up against my never ending siege!

They should add a new game mode where it’s open world and you have a fleet. Every time you encounter enemies, a regular forts battle starts. You can buy ships such as one core ships, two core ships etc… you could even later buy permanent upgrades to those ships such as an extra smoke stack or a flak gun at the start of the round!
Edit: New Idea! New dlc! Airships dlc! That’s a nice reason to include a new open world feature!

Amazing idea dude! i also have a idea that no one ever made, unluckly, i can't code, and i don't wanna spill the beans, i'll only say it's about a squadron of planes.
With the power of infinite resource. You still manage to defeat yourself in first half of the video while AI just don't do anything. They are like Lulgi that win by stand and do nothing!

Mmm, seems like either (A) Baron got busted or (B) he forgot he had a mod enabled which literally breaks the game
I'm not really sure how B happens, though, especially since he acknowledged he already had mods enabled
was checking the comments to see who else had something to say about this....
I suppose it could have been a joke? But it didn't sound like one. And theres no way he wouldn't have noticed he had infinite resources on. So at the very least, I think its safe to say he knowingly lied.
But its not like he'd want to build all those planes legit. It would take too long.
So I am leaning towards a very poor attempt at hiding what he was doing and getting busted.

On the possible joke side of things tho... the architect doesnt even make things cheaper, other than bracing. Right? So his "massive cost reductions to EVERYTHING" starts to sound more like a joke at that point...
its all pretty lame either way.
I'm two minutes into the video and he is saying that he chose this guy to reduce reduction the price but he has infinite resources and energy.
He definitely isn't pretending to be an expert.

Yeah there was a carrier based off of the Yamato hull. It was called the IJN Shinano. It was built forwards the end of the war but it was sunk in only 10 days after it was launched by the USS Archerfish making it the largest carrier sunk during war time and giving the Archerfish the largest tonnage sunk by a US sub during the war.
She also was the third sister of this class
It's still weird to me that it took one submachine to destroy the shinano
She was sunk by 4 torpedoes, she also shouldn’t be classified as a Yamato-class, as USS Independence-class hull was refitted from USS Cleveland-class light cruisers.

shorter bracings are far more likely to break than long ones, so if you want a stable ship, make long bracing

Your last bombing run failed and what is left of the plane is falling rapidly past the monstrous ship. You are just about to give up, when suddenly the entire ship starts to collapse. You watch in shock as the once formidable battleship is reduced to a tiny piece of wreck. As you send a bomber to clean up, you think "That was easy".
hey baron, you can lift your cores out of the water by building wood under your ship
to get the water level lower, and lift the rest of the ship up... you just need to build further under the ship?
Been seeing a few youtubers playing the forts levels with water,... and kept wondering why they never did anything to try and raise their parts up... they just let themselves sink.
Hey Baron! Amazing video as always, keep up the amazing work! Also side note, the Japanese did indeed build a super carrier from a Yamato-class battleship frame. They called the carrier the Shinano, and it only lasted 11 days at sea before getting sunk or something like that :)
Actually I have made a map on the forts workshop called the Shinano if you want to check it out! (It might be a bit laggy, so just be aware of that lol)

Hey Baron, I'm not sure if you're aware, but Aircraft Carrier Survival came out two days ago. I unlocked the Yorktown class carrier a day later. Also, yes; Japan did convert a third Yamato class battleship into an aircraft carrier in WW2.

Yes, the Yamato class carrier Shinano was created from one of the hulls of a Yamato but was sunk on its trials by a US sub, Archerfish
That implosion reminded me of Homer trying to make cereal. He pours everything into the bowl and it just catches fire.
That ship explosion scene was so cool at the start.

5 "super hulls" were layed down by japan. 2 became battleships Yamoto and Musashi, the 3ed was started as a battleship, Shinano, but was converted into a carrier, the remaining 2 were "officially" scrapped. but records were also destroyed LOL.
1:35 actually doesn't give reduction to devices or ammo.

4:14 yep the third yamato class superbattleship should be a superbattleship, but they something that it would cost much more money and something something so they converted it to a aircraft carrier which is the IJN Shinano

Due to the way that compression limits and stiffness work, shorter braces are far less structurally sound than longer ones.
Not to mention it was a small one with larger ones stacked above them. Not an Engineer, but I can tell you that didn't help

The Japanese did in fact try to turn one of Yamato's sister ships (shinano i think) into a massive carrier, but scrapped the idea
The Name of that carrier would have been Hakuryu. About
@@dragonhunter3300 wasn't the hull they made called the shinano, and the other battleship was to be the musaki. I'm likely mixing this up tho
