I was pretty much finished up when my phone ran out of memory but just stay in prayer and don’t trust your feelings 100%! They are a great indicator but not absolute, only Gods word is.
this is so true!! we can be so caught up in being self-focused and self-centered. i can’t stand that about the frequent christian culture of today. and jer 17:9 has literally been sitting in my spirit for a good week now too 😭!! sobering for REAL.

I have been wrestling with this, when the Lord shows you certain people in your family are operating in demonic spirits ( like, Jezabel/narcissist) I knew none of this until just a few years ago, and the Lord really opened my eyes. Anyway, the spirits in them are repulsive and I hate how they treat others, but I know the Lord loves them. Really hard to know what to do.
Yeah, it’s a very real thing. Keep close to the spirit in prayer and He will tell you how to guide through them. Sometimes it’s best to keep a distance.
You made good point how the heart and feelings of self are deceiving. I hate it when my own feelings of superiority lead me astray and separate me from love of others. We have to use our brains too. Think before speak, think before acting. Most times I end up not speaking after thinking more and more about a decision. Thinking in 3rd person more than 1st person is hard for some people to do. We have to practice with prayer and thoughtfulness about achievements of others. Some are better than others at feeling the feelings of others. God/Jesus is the best. Never ending war of self.
You were speaking the truth, and I agree with you. The world does tell you to trust your heart but that's not true. My constructive criticism would be to create your own flow of communicating the word of God and let the Holy Spirit feed to words to you because your words can and will save Souls from the pit.

No, the MIND is deceitful as all the desires come from mind... I know he expression "all your heart desires", but I still defend my stand on this one, i.e. it is really our mind. Heart can be flickering and whimsy, but not deceitful. Bible may or may not say differently on this, but I still beg to differ on this...

Besides, even if you could harbor some negative/evil in your heart, you can also harbor positive/good in your heart so while heart could deceitful it does not mean it is solely deceitful.
