Yeah, armor class is important. My dm used a monster, and it hit my 19 ac 3 times in a row. Thanks for the super shield. It's an awesome video!!! 👍👍🛡🛡🛡
I'm more of a Heathcliff from 'Sword Art Online' fan and thought of using the feats Tavern Brawler and Dual Wielder to mimic the fighting style. Tavern Brawler makes you proficient with improvised weapons, while Dual Wielder allows you to wield a non-light weapon in either hand. Other things that would fix it is if you use the current UE for Cleric (Playtest 6), which unfortunately moves your subclass to lv3 however you can choose proficiency with Martial Weapons and Heavy armor at lv1 through Divine Order - Protector
I loved this video and the ideas you came up with! due to his versatility as a character and your use of intelligence as an important stat I got an idea myself using the artificer artillerist and paladin rather than wizard and fighter. the artillerist can create little cannons that can be held (for flavor purposes attached to his shield) that can either shield allies spit fire or force people away which I thought really captured his use of different shields, also you can infuse your armor to get an additional plus one and then the paladin can double up the fighting style and use lay on hands and smites for healing and damage. you don't get the abjuration bonuses but you do still get access to shield and the paladin can force people to target him giving him a huge aoe taunt!
I would go for *Shield Master* for the feat. Instead of Defensive Dueling. He uses a shield, not a sword. Shield Master + Forge Domain would also give you that *Zombie Dragon Shield.* (I think that’s what it was called?) The build should also be Level 3 Battle Master Fighter (Defensive Fighting Style), Level 10 Abjuration Wizard, Level 7 Forge Domain Cleric. Take the 2 maneuvers he suggested. Also need Armor of Shadows + Your Abjuration Ward. These can be like the different shield powers.
I was doing a similar thing with only 2 multiclasses (figher/wizard) and instead of v. human I picked mark of sentinel human. It was working really well, all things considered.
I should mention that the Shield master feat only lets you add it to a spell that targets only you with a dexterity saving throw, so like 1 spell and maybe the odd trap in a dungeon.
@@smaster2071 because even if you are the only one to be hit by the fireball you aren’t targeted you just get hit by it’s blast radius by being in range.
This is not op. We delay spell progression by two whole levels, and never get extra attack. We never see 9th level spells. What do we gain? AC? Not that big of a deal. Don't get me wrong, it's a very flavourful character, but the idea that high AC builds are actually overpowered is shockingly prevalent, and leads to fun characters like this one getting banned for simply no reason.
@@saltypork101 Fair enough. I only said OP in the sense that a lot of DM's don't know how to handle high AC characters, assuming, like I used to, they have to amp the power of monsters. So for a large swath of DM's this will be a virtually unhittable character until they realize they can rely on spellcasting and magical abilities of enemies to easily keep combat interesting, while still letting the uniqueness of a character like this shine. All-in-all, I like how the theme plays to the mechanics in this build and it feels perfectly on brand.
This was absolutely amazing! This is a bit of an odd request, but I’d love to see if you could make a character for Mikazuki Augus and Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex. The Gundam has been done before, but this mech specifically has some really neat traits that would work well in the game.
So, fun fact: I basically used this build for an actual D&D Game and it went pretty well. It was pretty fun, even though I'm pretty smooth brained and didn't use it optimally - a lot of features that I kept forgetting I had. But, uh, yeah, fun build. At worst, you're a great meat shield and support for your party. Which, you know, is quite fitting for a SHIELD Hero build if you're dedicated to the bit.
This was quite good. The only thing I would change is taking Fighter at level one, so you can have proficiency in CON Saves, so, if something hits through your 'Shield of Faith' spell, you have a better chance at keeping it up. Plus, on a lesser note, you get the 'Protection' fighting style earlier.
I personally think that the CoffeeLock would be the perfect class for him. I mean, his shield is basically a pact weapon and his patron is the Shield Spirit, so he fulfils at least the requirements for the warlock class. Also, it would really very well fit to his ability to get more unique magical shields The only two problems are his charisma because like you said, he has not much of it and is mainly focused on constitution and strength, and his weapon is a shield which wouldn't be considered in DnD as a weapon. Likely. However, if the shield can be considered as a pact weapon then I think Naofumi would have, like you said: STR: 15 DEX: 8 (or 7 because he is really not very agile) CON: 15 INT: 14 WIS: 15 CHA: 8 I gave 8 for dex and cha because his agility isn't really good. I mean, look at his fight with the orange balls. He can barely kill/destroy them and it needs a lot of effort. Well, and charisma is something which he lacks at the start. Also, I think his Shield Spirit patron will give him the ability to wear middle armour and heavy amour anyway. Another idea would be a Clerlock or Paladlock. Do you think that could work too?
I have a similar except better build. It’s a warforged for the +1 AC and it uses 1st level forge cleric, 2nd level war wizard, 1st level fighter, and 16th level artillerist artificer. At the end of the build it will have a minimum AC of 27 with the war wizard 2nd level ability, and a maximum of over 40AC. I made this character in a level 20 one shot specifically to face tank a tarrasque, and it was certainly successful for a few rounds at least.
Taking War Wizard at your lvl 3 would've given you arcane deflect, a more consistant AC bonus than shield when you want to save spell slots. Also starting as a Warforged instead of human gives you the same AC bonus as your human feat and you can still pick up fighting initiate later to get that bonus. Same bonuses plus shield of faith can have you at a constant 26 AC at level 3, then do your fighter dip and go back to forge cleric for the AC bonus at lvl 6 cleric
Yeah somebody else pointed out that if I chose a different background I could get the shield spell right away, making it so I could do everything one level sooner. And I would have gone with war forged if I was going for pure armor class, which I might do for a later build, but I was still trying to go with something close to the actual character from shield hero
I really like this build, if you were to min max it there isn't much else you could do unless you would like to bump up those Hit Points a bit more by swapping the background for one of the spelljammer backgrounds, the one that gives the tough feat and also by starting off with fighter so that you can also get the chain mail armour since Clerics don't have that as an option, the best they can get is the scale mail armour which is one of the worst medium armour options. However at the end of the day that would only give a bonus of 42 hit points so not much better. I understand that you went to go and improve this build's AC as much as possible without magic items however the fighting initiate feat I don't see the point in taking it, I understand the protection fighting style you grabbed with your first level of fighter helped give him the ability to use his reaction to help block the opponent's attack by giving them disadvantage however if that's what you wanted it for I think the Silvery Barbs spell works much better as not only does it make the opponent have disadvantage it also gives you or one of your allies advantage on something. I just think that the protection fighting style is a bit worthless as sure it does give you a reaction ability that doesn't use a spell slot however the way I see it is that it only works if you're within 5ft of one of your allies and there are so many abilities that can push you away from your allies and not only that your allies might have to be further away from you as that is what is necessary for that combat encounter so the way I see it is that you should grab abilities that will always be useful and not only be useful in certain situations. That's why I think Silvery Barbs should be on here instead of the protection fighting style so you can swap the racial feat you took with something more useful like the Improvised Weapon feat. The Improvised Weapon feat will actually allow you to attack with your shield and at level 1 this would be great especially if you took the 1st level in Fighter as you'll have a way to do damage and you would be pretty tanky with a 19 AC and 12 Hit Points at level 1. With that being said I would do this as my stat array using point buy: STR: 15 + 1 from Tavern Brawler = 16 DEX: 8 CON: 14 INT: 13 + 1 from variant human = 14 WIS: 13 + 1 from variant human = 14 CHA: 9 I think Naofumi is a bit more charismatic than dexterous and this way he would actually have a viable strength stat. Then with your first feat/ASI I would actually recommend taking the Resilient feat to improve that WIS save and well the score itself as it makes more sense for Naofumi to have proficiency in STR, CON and WIS saving throws than just WIS and CHA saving throws. Overall this does mean you'll only being able to put two ASI's into INT(Assuming you still pick up the shield master feat which I think you should considering the low hit points it will help lower the damage from a dexterity saving throw attack making that very helpful) to get a max of 18 or if you use the headband of intellect a max of 19 however you do that then there wouldn't be any point in using your ASI's to put into INT so pick your poison with that however some good magic items to pick up for this build and no one can say I'm wrong Adamantine Plate Armour/Mithril Plate Armour/+3 Plate Armour In most campaigns you'll never need more than 39 AC as the max any official creature has to a to hit roll is +19 at least from what I've seen, due to this that is generally seen as the max anyone would need however you can get higher than a +19 to hit if you have an enemy with 30 Dexterity, +3 bow, +3 ammunition, Archery fighting style, Bracer's of Archery and better yet a +9 proficiency bonus. This all adds up to 10+3+3+2+2+9 = +29 to hit meaning for that you might want an AC of 49 but still your DM can always use homebrew to make something more busted if they see fit the point being that you can never go wrong with more AC so a +3 Plate Armour is always nice though considering your low HP you might want the Adamantine Plate Armour due to the fact that it stops you from taking extra damage from a critical hit. Mithril Amour doesn't require any kind of strength score or give you disadvantage on stealth checks and as we've clearly seen Naofumi does do quite a bit of stealth so not having disadvantage on that would be great. Shield +3 Same as before can never go wrong with more armour class Ring of Protection/Cloak of Protection(requires attunement) This gives a +1 to AC and to all saves boosting them up a bit Belt of Dwarvenkind(requires attunement) This item will help boost up your constitution for even more HP so you don't have to worry about that Amulet of Health(requires attunement) Same thing as the previous item just a bit better considering your current CON score is 14 this will give a bit of a better boost allowing for a true increase to your HP Any of the Tomes or Manuals that increase stats If you find any of these in the game they will be useful especially if Intelligence based or even Wisdom based maybe even Strength based. None of them will be useless to you as they will increase something whether that is just a extra 1 point to your saving throw for said ability score or something else entirely it will still be useful and the best part is unlike some of the other items these don't require attunement Cloak of Displacement(requires attunement) This would be useful as it gives disadvantage to an attack making it harder for someone to roll a natural 20 against you meaning it will be harder to get a guaranteed hit against you unless you take damage of course, getting this would also give you less incentive to pick Adamantine Armour over +3 Plate Armour however if your DM allows you to put the +3 bonus on Adamantine Armour than that is great but if that's the case maybe try going Mithril Armour as that doesn't give you disadvantage on stealth checks unlike regular Plate Armour and Adamantine Plate Armour. Staff of Power(requires attunement) While this kind of contradicts the flavour as you would only be able to use the shield as your weapon considering the whole flavour of playing as the shield hero kind of thing but this does give a +2 to AC and to all of your saving throws meaning that this would definitely be useful Any of the belts of giant strength(requires attunement) These set your strength score anywhere between 21 to 29 depending on which one you grab and these are useful as your strength save would become a lot higher and your damage with your improvised weapon would be better as well and your athletics would be better so your ability to escape being grappled would be better and that is just a good thing. Sadly in DnD you only have 3 attunement slots so some of these items aren't as useful as others but are still good picks, like I would choose a cloak of displacement over a cloak of protection, I would choose a staff of power over a belt of giant strength and an amulet of health over a belt of dwarvenkind for this build but the other magic items are still useful it's just that for the ones that require attunement there are some that are just better in every way.
Sooooo, instead of folk hero, what if you took Astral Drifter, with Cleric Domain Magic Initiate to take care of those 2 Cleric levels? That way you still get Shield of Faith and matches the Isekai background.
You would still miss out on the bonus plus one you get from being a forge cleric, but somebody else did mention that you could go mark of the sentinel human, get access to the shield spell, and be able to get the plus five armor class from that one level sooner
I would actually argue that guardian Armorer Artificer would be worth at least three levels of this build, two levels gets you infusions which you could use to buff your shield instead of taking forge cleric and taking a third level for Armorer gets you heavy armour *without* the strength requirement, Naofumi does a lot of crafting through the series so Artificer fits thematically, 6 levels in Artificer gets him repulsion shield, 9 levels gets him extra infusions that can be used on his armour. You could still take levels in abjuration wizard for some of the other class features, you won't have the high level spells but using your shield as an arcane focus definitely feels like it fits.
I would have gone with an Artificer instead of a Wizard but that's just me. Mine is currently lvl 15 and has created a magic item so he can cast Shield for free. However, I understand that you were emulating a specific character and based on what I saw, I think you did it justice.
I just wish to point out that Rules As Written you cannot put the Blessing of the Forge on a shield, though I'm sure a lot of DMs will probably allow it Also worth noting that the defense fighting style only applies to armour and not shields
Just wanna say that the comment "isn't particularly charismatic" is kinda incorrect for one simple reason. Charisma is the stat that shows how well you influence the world around you. One of the ways to do that is with intimidation, something he's been doing effectively from about the end of episode 1 of season 1. Not super important, but I thought it was worth pointing out.
Barbarians backstory Mom gave me a small trident to fight these things called vegetables and dad said he was called a formal fighting against the veg so they said make sure you eat all your veg on your plates
You should do a zenitsu build with nine levels in wizard bladesinger nine levels in rogue scout and two levels in sorcerer draconic blood line with a feat for meta magic initiate it’s an amazing build and I want to see you make a video on it
Pretty good attempt, but I disagree to cover all his specials with Wizard. Although the abjuration ward is nice, I think Artificer goes better with the character sacrificing all kind of stuff into the shield to get potions and other items. You get bonus tool proficiencies as well, which work very well with him being a jeweler which could be counted as tinkering. As subclasses I would say either armorer using the shield as focal point for the thunder gauntlet or lightling launcher, or a bit more creative, battle smith with the shield literally being his steel defender. I would definitely keep the battle master, that is simply great and makes him well rounded on the battle field, just take a dip in wizard maybe for the 'shield' spell (I do not easily see a way to get it otherwise apart from above mentioned battle smith) and cleric for the same reson with 'shield of faith'.
Great build, but I would have swapped 1 level of wizard for a level of barbarian. Granting them the rage so that they can shake off many of the mental attacks they may encounter. But all in all a great build.
I love forge Clerics and I love abjuration spells in general. Great set up for this character. Any chance you'll try Guts from Berserk (bonus points if you can do it without the Barbarian. Lol)
Personally, I wouldn't use so many fighter levels, if any. He doesn't really fight, he's more of a shield wizard. Most of his abilities are more spell effects than maneuvers. Using evasive footwork is overkill IMO. I think you're right about abjuration, but it takes so long to recharge the ward. All for some extra HP.
Hmm its very shieldy for sure, i would consider wings or protection to further shield teammates, or armor of agathys grants plus 5 temp hp AND cold damage per spell level. Shield hero surprisingly has a lot of offensive shields like biting dogs, etc. This works defesnively but also offensively. Arms of Hadar could also work as a shield that is lashing out defensively. Curious about other AoE spells or defense spells that cause harm. Sword Burst maybe. Any ideas?
Lotsa fun and creativity! Really enjoyed this! Howzabout a go at Damien Vryce and/or Gerald Tarrant from CS Friedman's *Coldfire Trilogy*? If that's too obscure, then let's give Madmartigan an opportunity!
Man if i was a DM, I'd let this character use a shield as a weapon dealing slashing or bludgeoning depending on whether the edge or the front of the shield was used to attack.

I made this for a oneshot WAY more simple than the video. Warlock hexblade for shield(Dm allowed as long as it wasn't used to weapon attack), all the spells converted the shield into things like the anime. This made it if shield was thrown away it would reattach like in the show. Also the curse of the shield made sense to me. Hexblade curse was the rage mode.
Now I wonder... if I cast Antimagic field on any Saint Hero, what will happen? Basically, this thing turns off every magic item in existence, even artifacts(I don't think these weapons can resist it). So, what would happpen if Naofumi disarms his shield while inside Antimagic field and then leave? Will the shield reappear on his hand? Will he lose his status? Will shield be even usable by anyone after effect ends? Shish, so many questions
I have Blaine Simples Anime into DND book where there’s a paladin subclass called shielder inspired by Naofumi so I wonder if it would work just as well?

I would go for *Shield Master* for the feat. Instead of Defensive Dueling. He uses a shield, not a sword. Shield Master + Forge Domain would also give you that *Zombie Dragon Shield.* (I think that’s what it was called?)
The build should also be Level 3 Battle Master Fighter (Defensive Fighting Style), Level 10 Abjuration Wizard, Level 7 Forge Domain Cleric. Take the 2 maneuvers he suggested. Also need Armor of Shadows + Your Abjuration Ward. These can be like the different shield powers.
I'd really like to see a build of Fran from Reincarnated as a Sword. Been hooked on the light novels recently...
I was doing a similar thing with only 2 multiclasses (figher/wizard) and instead of v. human I picked mark of sentinel human. It was working really well, all things considered.
Nice! Great choice with mage. Naofumi summoned crearures most of the time
I should mention that the Shield master feat only lets you add it to a spell that targets only you with a dexterity saving throw, so like 1 spell and maybe the odd trap in a dungeon.
I used the projectile curse for mine dm said I couldn't dodge fireballs
@@smaster2071 because even if you are the only one to be hit by the fireball you aren’t targeted you just get hit by it’s blast radius by being in range.
Me and every dm I've ever met ignores that because otherwise the feat is usually
Probably my favorite build so far because it's shockingly OP for someone that doesn't attack really.
Holy cow! I love RotSH so much, I can't wait to see what you do with this build
I was just thinking of how to build this build!!!!!!! This is super LIT!!!
Also, it would really very well fit to his ability to get more unique magical shields
The only two problems are his charisma because like you said, he has not much of it and is mainly focused on constitution and strength, and his weapon is a shield which wouldn't be considered in DnD as a weapon. Likely.
However, if the shield can be considered as a pact weapon then I think Naofumi would have, like you said:
STR: 15
DEX: 8 (or 7 because he is really not very agile)
CON: 15
INT: 14
WIS: 15
CHA: 8
I gave 8 for dex and cha because his agility isn't really good.
Big big fan of this. This would be such a fascinating build to play.
I would love to see a build for Gabimaru The Hollow from Hells Paradise
Well done! love it
I really like this build, if you were to min max it there isn't much else you could do unless you would like to bump up those Hit Points a bit more by swapping the background for one of the spelljammer backgrounds, the one that gives the tough feat and also by starting off with fighter so that you can also get the chain mail armour since Clerics don't have that as an option, the best they can get is the scale mail armour which is one of the worst medium armour options.
With that being said I would do this as my stat array using point buy:
STR: 15 + 1 from Tavern Brawler = 16
DEX: 8
CON: 14
INT: 13 + 1 from variant human = 14
WIS: 13 + 1 from variant human = 14
CHA: 9
I think Naofumi is a bit more charismatic than dexterous and this way he would actually have a viable strength stat. Then with your first feat/ASI I would actually recommend taking the Resilient feat to improve that WIS save and well the score itself as it makes more sense for Naofumi to have proficiency in STR, CON and WIS saving throws than just WIS and CHA saving throws. Overall this does mean you'll only being able to put two ASI's into INT(Assuming you still pick up the shield master feat which I think you should considering the low hit points it will help lower the damage from a dexterity saving throw attack making that very helpful) to get a max of 18 or if you use the headband of intellect a max of 19 however you do that then there wouldn't be any point in using your ASI's to put into INT so pick your poison with that however some good magic items to pick up for this build and no one can say I'm wrong
Adamantine Plate Armour/Mithril Plate Armour/+3 Plate Armour
In most campaigns you'll never need more than 39 AC as the max any official creature has to a to hit roll is +19 at least from what I've seen, due to this that is generally seen as the max anyone would need however you can get higher than a +19 to hit if you have an enemy with 30 Dexterity, +3 bow, +3 ammunition, Archery fighting style, Bracer's of Archery and better yet a +9 proficiency bonus.
Shield +3
Same as before can never go wrong with more armour class
Ring of Protection/Cloak of Protection(requires attunement)
This gives a +1 to AC and to all saves boosting them up a bit
Belt of Dwarvenkind(requires attunement)
This item will help boost up your constitution for even more HP so you don't have to worry about that
Amulet of Health(requires attunement)
Same thing as the previous item just a bit better considering your current CON score is 14 this will give a bit of a better boost allowing for a true increase to your HP
Any of the Tomes or Manuals that increase stats
If you find any of these in the game they will be useful especially if Intelligence based or even Wisdom based maybe even Strength based. None of them will be useless to you as they will increase something whether that is just a extra 1 point to your saving throw for said ability score or something else entirely it will still be useful and the best part is unlike some of the other items these don't require attunement
Cloak of Displacement(requires attunement)
This would be useful as it gives disadvantage to an attack making it harder for someone to roll a natural 20 against you meaning it will be harder to get a guaranteed hit against you unless you take damage of course, getting this would also give you less incentive to pick Adamantine Armour over +3 Plate Armour however if your DM allows you to put the +3 bonus on Adamantine Armour than that is great but if that's the case maybe try going Mithril Armour as that doesn't give you disadvantage on stealth checks unlike regular Plate Armour and Adamantine Plate Armour.
Staff of Power(requires attunement)
While this kind of contradicts the flavour as you would only be able to use the shield as your weapon considering the whole flavour of playing as the shield hero kind of thing but this does give a +2 to AC and to all of your saving throws meaning that this would definitely be useful
Any of the belts of giant strength(requires attunement)
These set your strength score anywhere between 21 to 29 depending on which one you grab and these are useful as your strength save would become a lot higher and your damage with your improvised weapon would be better as well and your athletics would be better so your ability to escape being grappled would be better and that is just a good thing.
This is so well thought! man! i'm really loving your videos, keep up the good work!
I would have gone with an Artificer instead of a Wizard but that's just me. Mine is currently lvl 15 and has created a magic item so he can cast Shield for free. However, I understand that you were emulating a specific character and based on what I saw, I think you did it justice.
I just wish to point out that Rules As Written you cannot put the Blessing of the Forge on a shield, though I'm sure a lot of DMs will probably allow it
Also worth noting that the defense fighting style only applies to armour and not shields
Please do a build for Lugh Tuatha Dé. Super long range sniper/magic build, maybe rouge/artificer
Character suggestioon!!
Archer Emiya from Fate
REALLY ENJOYED THIS BUILD.
Also works for making Arcades Sabbot a BBEG.
Great job
Thanks!
Barbarians backstory
Mom gave me a small trident to fight these things called vegetables and dad said he was called a formal fighting against the veg so they said make sure you eat all your veg on your plates
This sounds really fun to play.
If you haven't I would enjoy seeing your take on a Wukong build.
You should do a zenitsu build with nine levels in wizard bladesinger nine levels in rogue scout and two levels in sorcerer draconic blood line with a feat for meta magic initiate it’s an amazing build and I want to see you make a video on it
Just surround yourself in young halflings. Bam, you got Naofumi.
I LOVE THIS!!!! THANK YOU
Great build, but I would have swapped 1 level of wizard for a level of barbarian.
Lol)
I actually already made him ua-cam.com/video/ovOZTdDaWNs/v-deo.html but I did use some Barbarian lol
Got to check this out some time
Personally, I wouldn't use so many fighter levels, if any.
This is good like too good
Nice Build, hope to See Carol from symphogear soon ;9
BTW, an official background called wildspacer it gives you the tough feat for free.
Not really as good story wise for your character
@@thedrligma8571 yeah I know I was trying to stick mostly to the being true to character thing, but I personally have avoided healing wild spacer unless I'm really fits, because it kind of breaks things a little
You should do the flash next!
I've been trying to figure him out for a while, I made Sonic, and made him go almost twice the speed of sound... but it wouldn't feel right to do the same build for the Flash, so I still need to figure him out.
These anime builds are awesome! Still hoping for Goblin Slayer or the Konosuba gang one day.
Excelent, an fireball and that's it, or better, a cantrip is enough.
Knowing track records I'm gonna roll a insight check for next week that it'll be another anime character. I will post a reply whether I'm right or not
Technically you're wrong... Although I'm pretty sure there's anime versions of him...
If you were to only take 14 levels of wizards what else would you think about leveling?
In PF1e you want a shield hero?
Dual wielding tree, shield bash tree, and TWO shields! You wanna try to hit that AC?!
I liked all of it, except picking protection fighting style > shield master.
interesting build
So I am thinking… Something along this builds line, flavoring it a little bit like a Spartan. Because they used their shield as an offensive weapon.
Actually I built a 300 style spartan on this channel a while back (learned a lot about video editing since then) the build works great, and it's perfect for a phalanx style combat
@@dndbuilds nice! I’ll check it out! I’m currently using a slight tweak of your Goku build.
Браво просто моё почтение прекрасная работа
Arrr, I be liking this build, I have a request though. Make an an Artillerist Pirate build with a flying mini pirate ship as his Eldritch Cannon. Do it now ye swab!
Edit: Oh and ye earned me subscription, yarr!
Classic Dovahkin with Tuum
Ohh i love this.
You missed him needing some healing spells, but that's my only complaint.
He does have a couple on the character sheet actually thanks to the level in cleric
Good video but one problem. Forge cleric cannot biff shield. Only armors and weapons
Please does somebody know how to make this build in bg3
AC is better than HP anyway. Also aburation ward is gonna bump that hp up quite a bit at level 20
Sounds right for a 5th ed build.
Can you make a for various Fire Emblem Lords? Corrin, Alear, and Robin would make for fun builds
I have Blaine Simples Anime into DND book where there’s a paladin subclass called shielder inspired by Naofumi so I wonder if it would work just as well?
Blaine does good work! He did a shield hero video a couple of years ago and it's pretty spot on. Tulok's is good, too.
What would you change if playing by one dnd rules? Since you get a 1st level feat regardless of race
Future builds: assassins creed, the Belmont of castlevania, Cole McGrath of Infamous, xenomorphs from aliens
You gotta do an Ultron (MCU) warforged video.
Also, I would like to see a build with a Leonin. 🦁
You should take interception instead of protection
My Abjuration wizard who can have up to 21 ac at current level (4): Finally... a worthy opponent... our battle will be legendary!
Bros helping all the That's guys live out there OC fantasies at the cost of the party
how do you get Fighting iniciate ? Because you need have Proficiency with a martial weapon
I totally missed it that was a requirement, would probably just have to change what you're starting class is
Love the video and build! keep it up! :D I would die for a Bakugo build from My Hero Academia
Would variant human fighting initiate feat be best? Perhaps Mark of Sentinel human would work just as well?
I never even considered that, that would actually probably work great, and you would be able to do the 37 armor class what level sooner, because you could wait I'm going with your wizard levels since it automatically grant you the spell shield
@@dndbuilds you’d have to ask the DM if the Shield spell could be cast again with slots, unlike newer innate spell casting old ones don’t mention that you can recast them so that’s DM dependent.
3:46 did I miss something? How does 22+5=29?
Plate + shield item =20
Shield of faith = 22
Forge cleric ability = 23
Defense fighting style = 24
Shield spell =29
After level 1 it’s already unfair 💀
You should have taken heavy armor master too. It's not that good but it's very thematic.
okay this is the last time I'll ask for another overlord build so here goes...do you think it's possible to make a momon build? he is the alter ego of ainz ooal gown
Yes and no, I actually didn't make him or a campaign as an NPC, the trick was he had a special ability that was like having the dual welder feat but he could dual wield great swords, otherwise he's pretty much just a straight up fighter and heavy armor with two weapon fighting, and then it's either battle master or champion
@dndbuilds yeah I got it I thought that would the case but anyway you got any dnd build plans for the hanmas
Spear hero next please
Awesome job, wasn't there an anime about a girl who only did buffs and ended up OP as well?
Could you do a ULTRAKILL build, or you can't?
Let's say I want to use this but with a goliath character, Any changes I should make?
Build I want: Ranma Saotome and Ryoga Hibiki.
Plan on doing more research but super curious if these builds are transferable to Baldurs Gate 3 by any chance seeing how theyre both using 5th Edition? 🤔😮
