Agreed. This guy is one of the best when it comes to demoing this kind of stuff. He is thorough and he takes camera angles and lighting seriously, and is also pretty objective, logical and thorough in how he does things. Sure he doesn't cover everything in exhaustive detail but that would take way longer and could get tedious. He is well detailed but not boring. Very nice

I really enjoy the clearly visible newfound freedom you have with the new house. I'd love some kind of house tour, as soon as/if you were ever comfortable with it.
The overhead view is such a great and elegant way of showing how you are getting your footage. It really helps the flow of the video that you don't have to explain that you're not threatening your camera operator.

If I remember historically, during one battle of Caeser and the Germans, his men got so tired of the German's blocking everything that they pulled the shields out of their hands

funny thing about video games is that bucklers and smaller shields are often worn at the start of your adventure, while large shields come into play as you progress and your equipment gets better. Ironically, you'd have it the opposite way, large shield at the start with weaker armor and small to no shield when fully geared. But that's what you get when your character is made of numbers, not physics.
Depends on the context. If you start out fighting local bandits with knives etc. a buckler is fine but against Warcraft-style orcs with javelins or heavy bows/crossbows you really want a big and sturdy board. Against dragons you obviously need something with immensely powerful enchantments on it anyway but ending the fire stream further away from your body is great for heat dissipation. Plus of course the more fantastic uses for large shields such as reflecting petrifying gazes or sunlight, absorbing attacks hitting the shield to empower yourself or throwing it as a bouncing projectile/giant sawblade.
Congrats for your new home Skall, it really boosted up the quality of the class you gave with more angles for the camera, and sneak Kara was quite nice too haha, I didn't noticed her until she parried. A standalone sword implies that possibility just as much. A shield or armor implies a significantly higher likelihood.
