      Thank you for putting into words what some of us have noticed but not yet commented about - specifically, Skall's creative camera work and use of props when demoing.
      I've noticed his demos have grown particularly innovative over the last few years. It's a shame he hasn't been invited to show them in TV documentaries and such.

    • @mohammedmenri2713
      @mohammedmenri2713 2 роки тому +1

      Agreed. This guy is one of the best when it comes to demoing this kind of stuff. He is thorough and he takes camera angles and lighting seriously, and is also pretty objective, logical and thorough in how he does things. Sure he doesn't cover everything in exhaustive detail but that would take way longer and could get tedious. He is well detailed but not boring. Very nice

    That is a so much better room than what you had before, really nice natural lighting it seems, a fairly bright-ish floor. Skal you deserve this.

    This was a great video, it was informative, you had the space to show the moves you're talking about, and the double camera angle works insanely well to illustrate stuff. You look like you're having fun with it yourself, too. House is not just a personal upgrade but you're really making the best of it for your production as well. I know I'm a month late, but wonderful work Skall, keep it up!

    The move might just be the best decision for the channel Skalla has ever made. This video is about double the quality of pre move videos. Got me to activate the bell and comment to boost the algorithm.

    funny thing about video games is that bucklers and smaller shields are often worn at the start of your adventure, while large shields come into play as you progress and your equipment gets better.
    Ironically, you'd have it the opposite way, large shield at the start with weaker armor and small to no shield when fully geared.
    But that's what you get when your character is made of numbers, not physics.

    • @Photoloss
      @Photoloss 5 років тому

      Depends on the context. If you start out fighting local bandits with knives etc. a buckler is fine but against Warcraft-style orcs with javelins or heavy bows/crossbows you really want a big and sturdy board. Against dragons you obviously need something with immensely powerful enchantments on it anyway but ending the fire stream further away from your body is great for heat dissipation.
      Plus of course the more fantastic uses for large shields such as reflecting petrifying gazes or sunlight, absorbing attacks hitting the shield to empower yourself or throwing it as a bouncing projectile/giant sawblade.

    Congrats for your new home Skall, it really boosted up the quality of the class you gave with more angles for the camera, and sneak Kara was quite nice too haha, I didn't noticed her until she parried. Very nice video, I hope you keep your good work, it's very pleasing and informative what you do, thank you for that, cheers from Brazil !
