i rather have a small reactor who's honest and genuine than those fake ass reactors who obviously turned reactions into a buisness and they'll do everything to satisfy every artist fans so they won't lose subscribers
I totally agree with you and have a few reactors in mind who match your comment. One of them has one million+ of subscribers and recently went to Korea. He was interviewed by David on the Korea Now channel. Some reactors wanted to start their new channels so they would react to BTS to get views and subscribers but they didn't bother to know more about their backgrounds. Some of them got their YT Silver Button plaque then they stopped reacting to BTS and Kpop.
As long as Army stick together & support our guys in any decisions they make (girlfriends , children everything)..they will definitely be there 10, 20 years or more into future..

I saw someone commenting in the live chat about Trivia LOVE and what RM wanted with the fan chants and i still DREAD seein those clips from that one performance where Joon was performing this song ALONE on the stage, trying to hype the audience and there were literally people in the audience screaming for other members names ... id say 80% of them was just quiet while other were hyping up members that werent even on the stage. Like.. that must be one of my worst memorys and thats propably why later on the members started joining him during the performance.. Trivia LOVE is one of those songs that showcases just how amazing songwriter and lyricist RM is and for some ARMYs completely disregard all of that and his live stage, just because he "wasnt one of the 'popular' members" really triggered me. I cant believe fans, that are ADULTS, would act like that.. thank god the situation kind of corrected itself later on, but i just cant forget that. RM has taken SO MUCH unnecessary s**t over the years as their Leader and in my opinion should be respected separately in many fields. UGH...☹😒🙏

The guys will be focusing on bangtan prior to military but once in their thirties likely to pursue other interests as well eg acting for at least 2 of the members (Tae did mention he will try it in his thirties). im thinking they will be more like Shinhwa with varied interests than BB who is more musically focused as a group. Its more in line with what RM has said abt the members being v diff and putting aside their personal inclinations in favor of the group tho it's natural that there would be a timeline for this focus. Physical limitations of aging aside, people would want to explore other things/interests after doing something for a really long time plus they all have varied distinct talents. Thus why I feel they will b like Shinhwa who gather to release songs/albums every couple years and do solo stuff rest of time. The diff is BTS can still do some touring in addition.

More like I realized the strange similarities in cultural sense of humor, cultural hierarchies etc between Korea and India...its not all the same, mind you, but I saw similarities that I don't see in American culture -- thanks to Bangtan

Jino...I have often wondered the same thought...where is BTS heading? Do you think they will be the first K-Pop group to be excluded from military duty? If they don't serve will that hurt their image? If they plan on being the most popular group in the world, then they will have to sing a majority of their music in English for now on if they want to stay relevant. As often as they said they would never lose the Korean part of themselves a majority of their songs are all English. I think there are a lot of other Korean pop groups who would gladly sing only in English if they became as famous as BTS. I just wonder what they are willing to do in order to stay exactly where they are at in ten or twenty years from now.

They are preparing for the new album...it will be Korean album..they might add English single too

I don't think English is the necessity, but I think they will have to keep bringing out new things in order to not stagnate...I do believe we haven't seen the peak of bangtan yet, but it is curious to think what their future steps will be

Am I being dramatic? Honestly BTS must make more music in English if they want to stay on top & reach heights that no Korean group ever thought possible.
They are desperately trying to win a Grammy in order to reach a point that no other Korean artist has ever achieved. But the Grammys are a bunch of old racist A-holes who refuse to break the glass box they are in because God forbid if they let music other than English represent their gold standard. Dynamite & Butter should have gotten more award nominations but they only have 1 for best pop duo. What a bunch of crap. Butter was way better than most of the top nominated songs this year. Yet it was left out of best song category.
If they are going to break the glass ceiling then they need to continue to release more English songs.
They need to be relentless in this if they want to achieve their goals. Because they are not only hammering away at that glass ceiling for themselves, but they are
paving a way for other k-pop groups to follow.
And as much as people want to say that singing in Korean should be good enough it will never the same again. What BTS does in the next few years will define the legacy of k-pop music for the next decade or two. Whether you like it or not.
