On 50volts death has been recorded. Difference between Megger and multimeter is that Megger injects more voltages to check the integrity of insulation.

I want to add some words , Megger is a company that makes electrical test equipment , This device is Insulation resistance device or in short, we say "Megger". I shall be thankful If you kindly perform a test in-home wiring by using Mager. In-home how can we use Mager to test our wires? There is a distribution box and electricity is flowing over it. 1st we have to OFF our Wapda power (Electricity 220V) from Distribution Box then we have to perform the insulation test of wires by Mager? Plz, explain it? Thanks
Nice explanation sir but add that we should use the megger according to the applied voltage.1000 volts megger give wrong and bad result for 24 volt and 110 volts machines.
Aap kahaan kaa qassa lebait'he, meggar conductor aur body ke dharmiyaan connect kiyaajaathaa he, 24 volt he naheen 3 volt wale device ko bhee koee nuqsaan na pochegaa.
You only discuss two states/examples either infinity or short. How about somewhere in between? also what is the minimum resistance acceptable. (Don't call your work best yourself. Leave it for others). Best
